This looks like it’s going to be epic. Even Oprah has seen that Rihanna is real, authentic and truthful. There are no gimmicks with Rihanna, what you see is what you get and she at least can walk around in her neighborhood. People react positively to her and she doesn’t have to fake it in her neighborhood nor think she is better than everyone else.
She at least doesn’t try to run away from who she is nor change anything about herself to make herself look different. She is a beautiful successful woman who’s star power spans the whole universe. A true Universal megastar she is and the most successful Black Popstar in music history (which she is still making).

If you look at the GGGB era, Rihanna branded herself to the marketing of that era, RR era, she did the same, Loud era she did the same and why should she change to please you?
She has done very well in terms of marketing and branding and if it isn’t broken……

First of all Rihanna is not only successful and popular because of a tragic incident in her life that was highly publicized, Rihanna was extremely popular and even more successful before that even took place. GGGB era was the era were her name and music was everywhere and girls were imitating Rihanna’s look. The reason it was such a big deal was because of who she was RIHANNA America’s pop sweetheart. If Rihanna was just some nobody, d-list singer like a Ciara or somebody it wouldn’t have been a HUGE worldwide breaking news story.

and a few more altruistic reasons but here we go:
Ghetto and poor are two different things, there is nothing wrong with being poor

Rihanna is Cool and I hope she can be some kind of exception but she has already done well and her country is benefitting too and that’s awesome, hopefully they will not get carried away/confused by the hip hop culture like has happened in the urban US poor areas (that are now ghettos in terms of illiteracy etc…) and progress as a people educationally, economically etc….

I am not a Rihanna fan but I am gonna add my two cents here. I think that Rihanna has a universal appeal because she celebrates her impefections, she looks like a genuine individual. People are tired and therefore are starting to realise that there is no such thing as pefect hence you see stars like Beyonce and Kim Kadashian appearing in public looking less made up.

Oprah and Rihanna are similar in that both of them became sexually promiscuous after traumatic experiences.For Oprah it was being molested and for Rihanna it was domestic violence.You never know how someone deals with the effects of that situation (Good or bad).Rihanna was already beginning to rebel on “Good Girl Gone Bad”.After the Chris Brown incident that went into full rotation.At the end of the day Rihanna and Oprah are human beings.No matter how high of pedestal they are standing on.They still have feelings just like every other living person.When I see people commenting calling Rihanna a Whore it’s pretty sad because most men in the industry are whores.ex Tiger Woods,Kobe Bryant and even former president Bill Clinton.Nobody says anything about them.It’s a double standard.If you can call a women a slut for being promiscuous you can call a man the same.It’s no different!
