Rihanna‘s ‘Talk That Talk’ may not have charted that chart in most countries, yet Barbados’ Next Top Model is enjoying finer fortunes with the LP in the UK.

As per the Official Charts Company, it has today been announced that the album has jumped #4-#1 on the Official UK Album Chart this week. 

An impressive feat in that the record first hit the top spot upon release last November, its success narrative is boosted by the fact that it has spent a whopping 38 weeks in the Top 40 and is on course to break the million sales barrier over the coming weeks. Interestingly, the project – which has spawned smashes such as ‘We Found Love’ and ‘Where Have You Been’ – only spent one week atop of the tally during its first turn at the top. {Source}

While Robyn’s back-to-back albums and million singles suggest she’s well-aware of her “talent limitations” and is scared to disappear (so as to not be forgotten), some satisfaction can be sourced from the fact she does indeed have longevity somewhere. What’s more, it’ll come as a great boost to Brand RiRi, which is gearing up to star in British fashion show ‘Styled To Rock’ on Sky Living this month.

Being the fair and unbias site we are, it’s imperative we point out that UK album sales are presently at their lowest in years and a number of chart-topping albums have achieved the feat with sales of less than 13k. Still “Majah”?
