Honestly speaking, this performance wasn’t bad at all. She’s evolving into something that hip-hop hasn’t seen before, good or bad. I think Nicki has the potential to become one of the most memorable artist that hip-hop has ever produced she has the fan base, Mega hits and haters for days.
A lot of people give nicki a lot of shit because of her doing pop records, but lets be honest here! Nicki’s pop music sells, all over over the world at that! So in my opinion as long as her pop music is successful, why shouldn’t she make them?
Can she rap? – YES
Do her wigs need to go? – YES
Does she put out the right music? -NO
Can she sing? -SOMETIMES
Is she improving? -YES

I’m glad she performed ‘I Am Your Leader’. It’s my favorite off of the album. She needs to do an album where all the songs are more lyrical, more well produced and more hip hop. I much prefer her mixtapes to her pop stuff. But the sad thing is that if she didn’t do pop, she wouldn’t be on the ‘Today Show’ or ‘Leno’, BET, Ellen etc. Oh well…

Nicki’s album mainly has Contemporary RnB and Pop songs with a little Rap but she still MISLABELED the whole thing as Hip hop/Rap so that’s disrespectful, incorrect, and not considered exploring.
