May marked the return of Beyonce to the stage following the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy at the top of the year. That’s all set to change come November, however. For, it has been announced that the ‘Crazy In Love’ singer will hit the stage at Alicia Keys‘ annual Black Ball gala.
Details after the jump…
According to the Associated Press, the 31 year old and Carole King will perform at the November 1st fundraiser which is held each year to benefit Keys’ Keep A Child Alive charity.
Keys’ herself (whose new album ‘Girl On Fire’ arrives later that month on the 27th) will also take to the stage at the Hammerstein Ballroom event, which this year honors Oprah Winfrey and Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo. The pair are being recognized for their philanthropic efforts.
Actress and talk-show host Whoopi Goldberg will sere as the the night’s emcee.
As with all Ms. Carter performances, this is sure to be an event in itself. Needless to say, roll on November!
