Indeed, after the ‘Starstruck’ singer tweeted Spears ahead of ‘X Factor USA’ debut, Britney revealed that like GaGa’s ‘Monsters’, she too was looking forward to her new LP.

Their chit chat arrives after GaGa took to the UK’s Twickenham Stadium to deliver the first British showing of her ‘Born This Way Ball’, and after fans of Spears and supporters of ‘The Voice’ gem Christina Aguilera took to Twitter to air out their thoughts on their rekindled rivalry.
A rivalry, which is now seeing their respective television shows engage in a heated ratings war- further intensified by Aguilera’s announcement she was to release a her new album ‘Lotus‘ in November.

i recorded x factor and watched both episodes tonight. this show gets a huge “NO” from me. it looks sooo staged, phoney and fake. the contestants are an untalented boring refugees from the ‘gong show’.
i can’t believe ‘the voice’ only beat x factor by only 2.2 million votes last night.
i don’t believe there’s the slightest chance the britney can influence ratings once the curiosity of watching her is gone.
