It was cute but speaking of yesterday I missed her’s and flipped the channel back right when Nicki came out and rapped and then all of a sudden I hear this horribe noise and I muted by T.lv for the rest of the performance, Alicia was awful!

Wow!!! that was absolutely breathtaking. She actually sang that song earlier this year a tthe beacon theatre and I thought it was absolutely beautiful then also. I hope to God this is on the new album, this is vintage Alica.

On a different note… it´s clear there is nothing like huge promotion on tv. “Girl on Fire” and Frank Ocean are high on itunes SINGLES charts after the VMA. Even with their two bland performances and keeping in mind I´ve never seen Frank on a singles chart in my life. I´m happy for that cos them both deserve it, very talented. Just saying promotion is everything. Although for Rihanna not even that always works. I don´t see her new single which she performed very high, and we know that´s all she´s got, some itunes singles charts success 🙂
Alicia Keys is only doing well because of Nicki Minaj, but congrats she is in the top 10. Frank is doing mediocre, for being so gimmicky with his sexuality he should be topping the charts.

I really can’t wait for this album to come out. The songs so far sound good, even though this one’s lyrics remind me of “If I Ain’t Got You”. Alicia, you got me close to tears, I love you !

I enjoyed seeing Alicia Keys perform at the VMA’s and especially on Stand Up 2 Cancer, I liked this version of Not Even a King. I agree that this performance was much better than the VMA performance, this register fit her much better. This show gave me and my Dish coworkers plenty to talk about at work. Luckily my Hopper recorded it automatically with the Prime Time Anytime feature. I love that I don’t have to set up any timers for shows that come on major networks during prime time.
