Brandy’s ‘Two Eleven’ Hits UK Top 5

Published: Monday 22nd Oct 2012 by David

…and Brandy just keeps on winning.

Yes, as further proof of the genius and skill implemented in the star’s latest campaign, the R&B gem has seen her new LP ‘Two Eleven‘ become the genre’s most celebrated release this year, set to come in at #2 on this week’s US album tally.

However, before she celebrates that feat, last night saw the UK show both she and the project major love. Love, that landed the project a Top 5 R&B spot in the country.

Exciting news below…

Now the highest selling R&B debut in the nation, the project came in at #4 this week,  despite its promotional run extending no further than her domestic market.

This feat marks the singer’s latest Top Ten in the nation, following ‘Full Moon‘s peak position of #9 on the ‘Official Album Chart’ in 2002.

Cementing her status as her genre’s most celebrated act, her success in the country makes her the first the first R&B belle to enjoy a Top 5 spot on the genre’s tally since Beyonce‘s 2011 effort ‘4’, with Kelly Rowland’s latest offering ‘Here I Am‘ peaking at #16 in the same year.

Wow. I honestly wasn’t expecting that to happen but congrats to Brandy. She deserves it.

    • R&BIsBack October 22, 2012

Monica must be shaking in her ratchet boots reading this.

That’s right B****! BROCKA IS SLAYING THIS YEAR and there ain’t a thing you can do it about it.

      No Life. Still Flopping,

      • T October 22, 2012

That wasn’t necessary! No need to bring Monica into this! She’s just as talented! her time will come!

        CONGRATULATIONS BRANDY! WE LOVE YOU!

      • ohhey! October 22, 2012

OMG stop! i love Brandy, but just stop talkin’ trash about Monica.

Brandy’s album slays, and i’m so happy for her. that’s my girl! Yes Brandyyyyyyyyyy!

      • Mely B October 23, 2012

Ummm, Monica had her comeback album with STILL STANDING & released a solid r&b album in NEW LIFE. Both ladies are talented r&b songstresses and there is no need to drag one down so the other shines. I’m beyond happy for Brandy because not only is the album great but it’s being well-received which I know is important to her.

      • B-Rocked October 24, 2012

Quit brewing competition. Get yo life, get a new life or do something other than pen Brandy and Monica against one another.

    • BDF October 22, 2012

      Don’t be surprised… It’s on the R&B Charts.

      • truth(chile i will SL-LAP the DOG S*** out a B**** ASS nicki stan) October 22, 2012

        AAAAAHHHHHH BRANDY SLAYIN chile!!

    • TEE-NAH October 22, 2012

LOL at Brandy’s fans acting like the album is a UK success. It debuted at #4 on the UK R&B Albums Chart and #87 on the main UK Albums Chart. #FLOP!

    • King Art October 31, 2012

I knew B-Rocka would come out on top! Much more prosperity to you B! : )

  2. That B*tch (Rihllama’s downfall) October 22, 2012

Real music from real artists always prosper in the end, even if the beginning is rocky.

    • CALL ME HATERRRRRRRRR October 22, 2012

THATS WHAT I WAS JUST SAYING

BRANDY IS A REAL ARTIST AND SHE DESERVES TO WIN

    • Rihanna black madonna October 22, 2012

How did she win? She debut at 87 on the real chart. Show a country where Rihanna ‘s album has debuted at 87?

      • That B*tch (Rihllama’s downfall) October 22, 2012

Take your Rihanna obsession to her twitter or instagram page. Nobody here is talking about this untalented h**.
Preorder Flopagetic so Rihllama doesn’t flop.
        Bye doggie.

      • B. Hill October 22, 2012

F*** RIhanna. She’s a no talent puppet who will be dropped back into obscurity once her machine finishes bleeding her dry.

      • Adrian October 27, 2012

Why in the hell would anybody be comparing Brandy to Rihanna? Solid, beautiful tones with an impeccable range….versus auto tuned warbliness that can barely sustain a note live/in-studio. Have a damn Colosseum of seats with that one!

Legitimate talent and solid artists are commended for their work and not for their publicity stunts. Brandy is an entirely different class!!

    • truth tea (take a sip) October 22, 2012

i love Brandy, but “real artist”? she co wrote only 3 out of 15 tracks on the album.

  3. D October 22, 2012

    good for her

  4. CALL ME HATERRRRRRRRR October 22, 2012

THIS IS NO SURPRISE…HAD SO MUCHHHHHH FAITH IN BRANDY!!!

    SHE DESERVES IT!

    BEYS PROUD OF HER
AND THERES NO SURPRISE THAT BRANDY IS HIGHER THAN KELLY! HER PLATFORM IS MUCH HIGHER AND HER TALENT IS MUCH GREATER AS WELL
NO DISS TO KELLY BUT BRANDY IS “BRANDY”!
“HERE I AM” DIDNT DO WELL BECAUSE IT WASNT KELLY, SHE NEEDS TO BE HERSELF
    LIKE BRANDY
    CONGRATSSSSSSSSS! BRANDUY

  5. B**** October 22, 2012

    What? I’m shocked

  6. BrandNu October 22, 2012

    Kelly who? Monica what?

    • Diva October 22, 2012

Chile pllllzzz….. theres no need for the Kelly & Monica shade! Kelly didn’t even promote Here I Am period and she sold more then Brandy 1st week so did Monica! Kelly is a house hold name in the UK! They love her there and have been successful in there market for years. I can’t speak for Monica bcuz I dn’t really know about her international successes. If Kelly would have promoted Here I Am properly her album could have had better 1st week sales and sold more in the U.S. including the U.K. What you guys do not understand that alot of these programs we watch in the U.S. is shown in other countries as well and on top of the performances are released on blog sites and that is more promotion for the artist bcuz nowadays who has time to watch every program these artists perform at? They watch them over the internet…

      • S. Davenport October 22, 2012

Kelly most certainly DID promote Here I Am…especially overseas. The US isn’t her market. Her albums are always more successful overseas than here. She still hasn’t gone gold in the US, which is only 500K, with Here I Am. And the only promo she did over here was the BET Awards and like 2 or 3 night talk shows. She HAD to promote more overseas because she was practically living there for Xfactor. So idk what you’re talking about. LOL !

      • LouLou October 22, 2012

Um you do realize the first week sales have not been released, right? Monica was predicted to do 55 to 60 k and did 69. Brandy is predicted to do 60 to 70k, so I’m sure shell end up selling more. She has over 2000 reviews on iTunes in less than a week. Miguel who was released a few weeks ago has a little over a thousand. Monica was released half a year ago and has a little over a thousand. If this has any indication of what her sales will be then I believe she’ll do really well for today’s r&b standards. It means people know about this album and are supporting.

    • Diva October 22, 2012

      @ S. Davenport

Kelly did not infact promote Here I Am like she should have! Several months later in the U.K. after her album was released she performed on the tv show she was a judge on. That is not exactly a promotional campaign performing from show to show like Brandy is doing! She did 1 performance on a late night show here in the U.S. thats it! Her album is certified Gold boo! She made up for it in other markets but TOTAL in the states it’s not Gold yet but overall her album is certified Gold! You say Kelly album didn’t go Gold in the U.S. but none of Brandy’s past few albums have went Gold either so u hvae no room to shade Kelly! My ? to you is why are you so busy bringing up Kelly Rowland ?? At the end of the day Kelly Rowland aint going no where and she still is the R&B “IT” girl right now! Tell yaa girl Brandy she needs to chill out with going around in interviews shading Kelly for being busy and not being able to do a song with her at the moment! She’s to busy with her own projects! Once Kelly start releasing her material no one will give a danm about Brandy and u know it!!!! It’s funny how most of #teamkelly have supported Brandy’s album but you guys r quick to shade the ppl who r actually helping your fave get back into the game!

    • Ant October 22, 2012

Slower is my favorite song on the whole album. Just sucks its such a short song.

    • Bey Fan October 22, 2012

Yessss……. I couldn’t be more excited. My B’s making me proud. Brandy is doing her damn thang man…. so excited

    • TEE-NAH October 22, 2012

Two Eleven debuted at #4 on the UK R&B Albums Chart and #87 on the UK Albums Chart. The album is still a flop!

  7. BeyWhoUWanna October 22, 2012

    YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

F*** YES! YES YES YES YES F****** YES! GO OFF BRANDY!

Celebrate tonight mama, CELEBRATE! You’re winning because you put heart into your music, no gimmics, no dance singles just pure soulful music.

    • Ant October 22, 2012

“put it down” was a dance single boo, when that song plays it makes the jigga boos wanna dance. Compared to the other soulful tracks on the album Put It Down was not soul. The album was great but dont get beside yourself. we are all happy for Brandy, but not to the point of inaccuracy.

      • BrandyKiss October 22, 2012

Shut up, you are just angry that Brandy is winning again.

      • mob: Breezy makes it look easy October 22, 2012

“Jigga boos” <–WTH are talking about?

Ppl who love 'Put It Down' love the fact that she took a chance and tried something new. I love both Chris Brown and B Rocka and thought their chemistry on the song and in the video was amazing. And there is nothing wrong with an uptempo R&B dance track! Ppl need to remember that R&B runs the gamut from Marvin Gaye and Al Green to Rick James and Parliment Funkadelic. R&B is a bigh genre and THANK GOD FOR IT!!

  8. B**** October 22, 2012

Its #87 on the MAIN chart………..

    • WildestDreamer October 22, 2012

    • TEE-NAH October 22, 2012

LOL exactly! Some of Brandy’s fans think she did while others think the UK R&B Albums chart is major!

    • CALL ME HATERRRRRRRRR October 22, 2012

HAIL QUEEN BEY AND HAIL QUEEN ROCKA

      • S. Davenport October 22, 2012

Kelly was out at the same time as Rihanna, Gaga, and Beyonce. idk what you’re talking about. LOL

      • Diva October 22, 2012

        @ CALL ME

U can shade Kelly all you want but at the end of the day Kelly will not be moving over for anybody no time soon! Just mad bcuz Kelly is still #WINNING

  11. R&BIsBack October 22, 2012

(Blasts Faith Evans Tears Of Joy)

These other b****** need to step their cookies up because Brandy isn’t playing anymore. They wanted to throw subtle shade and act like she was a joke but she’s out beating Kelly when Kelly had her own show IN THE UK!

Monica baby, retire. Kelly, sit down. Keyshia, we love you. Beyonce, write your own songs.

  12. Sweetnothings78 October 22, 2012

That’s my girl, so made up for her.
    TWO ELEVEN is a masterpiece!

  13. Rihanna black madonna October 22, 2012

HA HA Brandy is not winning. She is a flop who will most certainly be dropped for the 3rd time. She charted at 87 on the REAL RIHANNA MAIN CHART AKA THE CHART WHERE TOP ACTS SIT. SHE IS AT 87 ON THE UK OFFICIAL CHART.

I knew she was not top 5 on the UK album chart. Never has Rihanna had an album come in low, people make fun of MOTS but it debuted ON THE MAIN CHART IN ALL MARKETS. She was only 16. Brandy is predicted to come in at number2 with only 60k. HA HA HA HA HA Music of the sun went in at 10 with 69. That is right, RIhanna’s debut outsold Brandy’s so called mega comeback/

Be careful who call a flop.

LOL LOL Rihanna is winning and flop Rita Ora and brandy are loosing. Sam, looks like you are a bad luck charm, any one you stan for, is Flop one move from getting dropped. Keep hating rihanna.

    • Rihanna black madonna October 22, 2012

HA HA HA HA TTT has now overtaken Rita Ora on the official UK album chart. Go to Radio 1 chart and see who runs the UK. Loud and TTT are still on itunes while brandy and Rita are not. I love how Rih ends careers.

      • RIH October 22, 2012

        GROW THE F*** UP!

    • BrandyKiss October 22, 2012

You have mental problems so I will ignore and pray for you.

      • Rihanna black madonna October 22, 2012

        You grow up h**.

        Brandy kiss

You have mental problems ( takes one to no one ) Pray for Brandy, she is gonna need it when she is left without a job. She is on her 3rd record deal and after this dismal showing. She will not have a deal. So, f*** You. In other news, Diamonds by Rih has sold over a million. I reckon by Dec it will be triple platinum – unlike Brandy or any of the other flops who, like you fear and hate the reign of Rihanna which will NOT END, unlike your faves career.

    • T October 22, 2012

Who the hell said anything about Rihanna? This is about Brandy on the R&B chart! Like i’m confused as to why you’re bringing Rihanna into this? For Brandy,, this is a celebration to debut in the Top 5 on an R&B Chart in a nation where R&B is not the most popular Genre and also in a country where she didn’t STEP FOOT to promote the album! You are pressed. My goodness!

  14. HereIFlop/BeyonceIsQueen October 22, 2012

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!
What kind of R&B slayage ez thess?

  15. JJFan1814 October 22, 2012

Wow. Congrats for her. Cool to see R&B prevail in the U.K.

  16. Electric Chapel October 22, 2012

Why are people making fun of Monica when the first week of her last album is about to outsold Brandy’s ??

    • BrandyAkaBSlaya October 22, 2012

Did Monica even chart in the UK? DID SHE?! The ghetto b****.

      • Rihanna black madonna October 22, 2012

Brandy is at 87 in the UK chart. So f*** on that, flop b****.

      • Electric Chapel October 22, 2012

The numbers are so dismal, it doesn’t make sense to try to congratulate her on that ! You’ll see next week.

  17. Jer October 22, 2012

Debut chart positions mean nothing. You just use them to manipulate your flop faves.

“The album debuted in the Too 5!!!!”

Falls off the chart the next week

    • IDK October 22, 2012

I doubt it, everyone knows its an epic album. Since people really dont celebrate real/good music anymore people figured it would flop.

    • TEE-NAH October 22, 2012

Sam forgot to mention Two Eleven is a UK Top 5 on the R&B albums chart and a UK Flop on the main albums chart.

  18. WYLA October 22, 2012

Shout out to the uk Starz!!!!

  19. YOTW October 22, 2012

I see the B Floppers are feeling themselves today.

Kelly has been winning since 2002, how many years did it take Brandy to get a top 10 anywhere, the album hit number 97 on the mainchart and you dusty whores think you’re winning.

    • BrandyKiss October 22, 2012

Haha. Now I’ve heard it all. Who is dustier than Kelly Rowland who quit x factor to do a show in australia which got CANCELLED. Brandy is a born winner and Kelly was born to live in Beyonce’s shadow.
It’s a hard pill to swallow so get to lubing baby.

    • S. Davenport October 22, 2012

Actually, Motivation is Kelly’s first platinum single in the Us since the song with Nelly. LOL ! I like Kelly, But I don’t want you guys to feel it on Brandy’s time. Kelly is mediocre at best. She is extremely pretty, but her performance and singing abilities are SERIOUSLY lacking. She only has fame because of DC3, because Here I Am flopped harder than any other album in 2011 by a mainstream artist. Even Demi Lovato sold more than her in the US.

      • OH MY GOSH…. GOOGLE KELSNETWORK AN SEE WHAT HAPPENS! October 22, 2012

check your stats before commenting… here i am even sold more than jason derulo’s future history album

      • Diva October 22, 2012

        @ Brandykiss
        @ S Davenport

Ur right Motivation was Kelly 1st platinum hit since Dilenma but tell me this…. when was the last time Brandy had a platinum hit??? Kelly is not medicore either… everyone doesn’t have to be a power house like Beyonce or have a deep whispery voice like Brandy. Kelly has a s*** sultry voice and her voice sounds beautiful! She’s NOT trying to be neither but be HERSELF! At the end of the day she’s had more to prove to the world then any R&B artist in the industry! Most of her solo career she struggled to shine on her own and prove to ppl she can stand on her own 2 feet. Many ppl r very proud of her for stepping out and doing something nothing has ever happened in the history of legendary girl groups and thts be successful outside of home where your not the lead singer of a group, for tht she deserves respect!

    • monstarebel October 22, 2012

So proud of her!!!! Cant wait unti this weeks tallys are in for the US!!!!!!!

  21. MinajMonstah October 22, 2012

This is a big deal. To get a top 5 urban album without even being in the country is a big deal. Good job.

    • Rihanna black madonna October 22, 2012

Not when you have been in the game for nearly 20 years and have sold millions in the past. This would be ok for a new act like Miguel, but a former RNB diva, this calls for her to be dropped.

      • MinajMonstah October 22, 2012

Who asked for your opinion? Your obsession with Rita Ora is frightening and I really hope you are caught by the police before you do something crazy.

  22. T October 22, 2012

  23. pat October 22, 2012

all the love that she has been gettin for this album from inside and outside of the industry…its hard for me to see a 60k for week for her in the US, but we’ll see

  24. GAslickmouf October 22, 2012

This album is the R&b album of the year!!!

Brandy stuck her foot in the game!!

She really brought back R&B and not the

    gimmicks that other singers do.

This album is a must get!

If u dont have it go get it!

    • Sarah Says October 22, 2012

I agree along with SVW’s and Miguel. I’m not sure why you have so many mark downs.

      No shade but Beyonce’s album wasn’t r&b

      • KingBey October 22, 2012

Excuse me, but what songs on 4 weren’t R&B, Besides Best thing i never had, & Run The World, (Which was still Urban)?
wow 2 songs out of 14.

      • Realest October 25, 2012

4 was more “adult contemporary w/a soulful twist” than r&b

  25. Ayo October 22, 2012

    Well done Brandy

  26. Bey Fan October 22, 2012

  28. monstarebel October 22, 2012

Ok…. but if this was beyonce Rihanna or Kelly Rowland y’all would call it a flop which it is them rnb charts don’t mean s*** winning would be debuting atleast number 1 on the rnb charts she can’t even do that lmao

    • starlette October 23, 2012

theres a difference brandy hasnt been on the scene for a while verses beyonce and rihanna

  29. iza October 22, 2012

gone head B!!! her and miguel better be top heads in grammy nods!

  30. GAslickmouf October 22, 2012

I didnt understand why ppl called her the

    Vocal bible.

    After this album

    I really understand

    Why she was given the

    Name

    Vocal bible

    The album is everything.

    I love it!

  31. ASIPOFBRANDY October 22, 2012

i’m just in awe of this lady right now I soooo happy to be #STAR and I never jumped on the bandwagon for another artist I stayed to true to B’Rocka, the chick that has been my inspiration since ’94!! YAAASSSS BRAN!!

  32. #87 :D October 22, 2012

Had this been anyone else you all would cry flop. Beyonce got #1 on the UK charts and it was still called a flop. These double standards need to be addressed. Being in the top 5 of an R&B chart and #87 is nothing to be proud of. If she were an independent artist fine. Brandy stans and go along with the crowd faux fans are doing the most. Had Riri,Beyonce,Christina,Pink all the major girls did these numbers it would make alot of people on this blog’s day. I’m not a hater by all means. I enjoy brandy. However if she was this huge star like you all proclaim her to be she would’ve debuted at #1-10. Not #87.

    • monstarebel October 22, 2012

Exactly what I’m talking bout…..smh I can’t with these delusional ass brandy stans.

    • mob: Breezy makes it look easy October 22, 2012

      LOL REALLY? 0_O

Look, Brandy has been out of the game for several years which one of the ladies and pAnk that you mentioned have done the same? Bey was on the scene nonstop, took a break for what a yr and is back on her grind. Rih has yet to sit. Xtina fllopped all over the place with Bionic but has yet to disappear from the landscape as BRANDY ACTUALLY HAD! And pAnk is a VIOLENT DOMESTIC ABUSER but gets the white femiNAZI pass so she doesn’t count!

My point is that Brandy has not been on the music scene for quite awhile so yes, for us her fans, it’s a big deal. She actually never thought she would return. I hope the success she will have with 2/11 keeps her head& heart in the music world. We need the diversity IMO…

    • Sarah Says October 22, 2012

Making an album of this quality is something to be proud of. Comparing Brandy to Beyonce and Rihanna is foolish, one makes pop music and the other makes pop&b and Brandy is making R&B straight.
Also, Beyonce and Rihanna don’t need promo as there albums/singles get spins regardless, Brandy was started from scratch.

      • KingBey October 22, 2012

        @mob
Beyonce was out of the Game for 3 years
        2009 – 2010 (Barely did anything)
        Then she returned in 2011.
Brandy was out for 4, and no one told her to stay her ass out.She chose to do it.

      • starlette October 23, 2012

umm beyonce came out with bday in 2008 then sasha fierce in 2009,2010 took a break came back in 2011 album 4 then had baby blue plus on top of that beyonce was still in rotation while on her break still is in rotation matter of fact, brandy hasnt been on scene in 4 yrs due to one poor sells of human and her dropping her label (just like jojo label problems) so its like shes a new artist all over again and im proud of her succes with album congrats b-rocka !!!

Ok, I must have missed something. I may be out the loop, but I don’t understand why the starz are going back and forth with other stans. Did I miss an episode?! Let’s continue to make this about a victory for Brandy. I’m not trying to come off as this peace maker, but the drama is not worth feeding into. Starz we got work to do and this is just a distraction. It’s a great start, but let’s stay on track. There’s more important things to concentrate on. Ignore the negativity and stay focus! Don’t bring up these other artists unless their asking for problems!

As for these Doves & Ro’Dawgs (I never get them right) , SOME of ya’ll have been trying to rain on this parade for whatever reason. Doves, we rode with ya’ll through the whole IABTM promotion for New Life. Don’t wish bad on Brandy when we were all being team players not to long ago (and no one spewing all this hatred when Monica was first at bat). Ya’ll are going in too much! Seriously stop all that ! It’s not a good look.

As for these Kellys stans, we see all the subliminal shade and the jokes write themselves. I’m not here to put her down, I have no reason to … but show respect! Everything that you guys want to make claims to is often unrealistic when it comes to Bran and Kelly. Real Talk! I’m not referring to any of the silly misunderstandings because it’ll be pointless.

Anyway, Starz behave! Lol … Learn to be good winners! Doves & R’ Dawgs put your energies into your own favs. Sorry for the essay, but I felt like I should at least try this approach first, because next time I may not talk this way if I don’t feel like tolerating anything. I wish them all success!

Thank U!! @RoyalKev…. I am happy for her… this is a tremendous accomplishment for some one who had to step out of the game due to circumstances… She is getting her life and her career back. Be happy for her!! If you don’t have any good to say don’t comment…move on!! Society has created a bunch of bitter and anger adolescent and adults. Congratz!! Brandy wishes more continuous success. I travel several miles cuz the cd is sold over everywhere and I wanted a physical copy. This is a great cd and I love all songs starting from outro to the intro.

  34. numero_uno October 22, 2012

this is exciting news. this means that she has to tour in Europe! great news.

  35. B. Hill October 22, 2012

I can’t believe some of you idiots are still trying to play on that silly Brandy vs. Monica thing. 😆 So f****** “1998”. They’re both grown now. If you can’t congratulate Brandy without smearing Monica, then you’re an illegitimate fan.

    • HALF AMAZIN October 23, 2012

Exactly….1998 when most of your asses were toddlers or still a squirt in your daddy’s peen

  37. RLS October 22, 2012

I think that people are beginning to realize that real, true R&B is coming up short of anyone that will be considered legendary in the future, and that’s why people are recognizing Brandy’s genius right now.

The numbers aren’t spectacular, but it is a quality album and the fact that it is a #1 R&B album is no small feat.

I think that if this project is given the attention it deserves, it will be successful in the long run and maybe we can get away from this desperate reliance on first week sales which is such a new phenomenon.

I remember when artists used to really truly promote a project for a year if not longer, now everything is so disposable. Two Eleven is a quality project with potential for some more major singles (don’t think Wildest Dreams was the right choice for #2) and I hope they treat it as such.

    • MUSICHEAD October 22, 2012

I agree with your comment 100%. 10 years ago, labels would support an album for at least 6 months and release multiple singles. Two Eleven has at least 8 potential hit singles so I’m hoping RCA stands behind the project through next summer. I also agree that Wildest Dreams was the worst possible choice for a 2nd single. No Such Thing As Too Late should be sent to Pop/Crossover radio immediately while Slower or Do You Know should be sent to Urban Radio. I find it odd that the label never promoted Put It Down at Pop radio. It would have done so much better had the Pop audience been exposed to it.

BYE ….. #Google Kelsnetwork

  41. Dev October 22, 2012

Can i stop listening to this album?…. can i!!! I actually love it. My 2012 playlist consists of 2/11 – I Missed Us and Kaleidoscope Dream.

P.S. This blog has become the pits!!!

  42. KD October 22, 2012

How low have we fallen to be celebrating such a failure? Who is occupying the top 3 spots on the UK R&B chart if all Brandy could do was land in @ #4?

It may have be a mans world but in the music world it is a white womans world…Adele, GaGa, Taylor Swift etc.

    We need to do better.

The album is #87 on the UK Charts. That’s the chart that counts. But hey congrats to being #4 and not #1. IJS!!!!!

  45. IrritatedSouthAfrican October 22, 2012

Okay, Rihanna loves Brandy. She said that ‘AFRODISIAC’ inspired the albums she’s released. Kelly is one of Brandy’s best friends. They support each other, hang out together, shop together and they plan on doing a duet next year. Monica and Brandy adore each other. They sing together, support each other when one’s album is out. All these bishes have so much love for one another. Doesn’t make sense why y’all have to act like wild animals. It’s not a sin to appreciate another artist when they’re doing well. We’re acting really stupid. All these singers would be shaking their heads if they had to read this garbage. Nxa!

  46. Britbutnotproud October 22, 2012

Congratulations to my girl Brandy…real talent always shines through in the end. A well deserved outcome,.

  47. bibi93 October 22, 2012

    Super Brandy!!

  48. JOHNVIDAL October 22, 2012

I´m confused: did she debut at #4 on the album charts in the UK then?? That would be amazing for an R&B album outside the USA. Or is it just a #4 debut on the UK´s R&B charts. If so I don´t see how that is anything to scream about, something Sam is obviously doing on this post

Either way, I hope she has success. She deserves way better first week sales than what she is going to have in the USA. I can´t understand how Trey Songs can sell more

    • Gilberto October 22, 2012

‘Two Eleven” debuted at #87 in UK Albums. It debuted at #4 in UK R&B Albums, which is (an irrelevant) chart for black singers; basically, it’s the UK Albums without the white singers.
UK Albums = Billboard Hot 200
      UK R&B Albums = Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums

  49. MC October 22, 2012

This is bittersweet. I want the album to build momentum and go strong, not these weak numbers. The album is really solid; go buy it if you haven’t already.

  50. Brandy needs a grammy for 211 October 22, 2012

I dont get the get the hate frm some ppl.

Its really good music. Go get the album!

  51. truth tea (take a sip) October 22, 2012

well she had writing credits on only 3 out of 15 tracks.
I dont feel guilty for not buying it. The album was decent though, nothing amazing!

  52. Gilberto October 22, 2012

Let’s be honest here, Brandy never had a successful career in UK. Actually, she has always been a local act.

    • MUSICHEAD October 22, 2012

Really? You should do your research to see how many top 10 singles she has had in the UK and how many albums she sold…Never Say Never alone did very well and produced several top 10 and top 20 singles. Another Day In Paradise was a Top 5 hit for her as well. Her last top 10 single in the UK was Talk About Our Love. It debuted at #6 and peaked at #4 the following week without any promotion. Do your research!

    • RICHANDBLACK11(JUST LIKE BEY October 22, 2012

no no no no ….do your research on Ms. Brandy hun no shade.

    • MUSICHEAD October 22, 2012

      Don’t worry…I’ll help you:
      Brandy’s UK singles history:

      I Wanna Be Down #36
Sittin Up In My Room #30
      The Boy Is Mine #2
      Top Of The World #2
      Have You Ever #13
      Almost Doesn’t Count #15
      Another Day In Paradise #5
      What About Us? #4
      Full Moon #15
      Talk About Our Love #6
      Afrodisiac #11

      • IDK October 23, 2012

Music Head, I think I love you.

    • TEE-NAH October 22, 2012

Brandy was an international success during the 90s and early 2000s. She became a local act (a.k.a Flop) in the late 2000s and early 2010s lol.

  53. ASH October 22, 2012

    • MUSICHEAD October 22, 2012

Unfortunately the album won’t be eligible for a Grammy nom until the 2014 Grammys. The cut off was September. However, Put It Down and Wildest Dreams could snag a nomination.

    So happy for Brandy! 🙂

    • RICHANDBLACK11(JUST LIKE BEY October 22, 2012

I know right , non stop

  56. MUSICHEAD October 22, 2012

According to Hits Daily Double, only 50% of the sales reports are in and Two Eleven has already sold more than 60,000 copies. It’s pretty safe to say that the album will definitely debut with more than 100,000 sold in the first week. The promotional rounds she made last week combined with word of mouth about how great the album is must have really pushed the album over the weekend!

    • B-ROCKA STARZ October 22, 2012

2 ELEVEN sold 80 thousand in the U.S in day 1.Yes, on the first day the album dropped in the U.S, she sold over 80,000 people. Now, it’s been selling really well here in the states with heavy promotion. Brandy is everywhere here in the states. Tomorrow the world gonna see her first wk sales, which gonna debut at either 1 0r 2 on the U.S 200 CHART.-That’s includes all genres of music. Now that’s impressive. She touring worldwide febuary.

      • Hate liars October 23, 2012

Um… No she didn’t! That’s her projections for the week! If she sold that many on day 1 she would have sold close to 200,000(+). Get your facts straight!

      • IDK October 23, 2012

lol! some peopl just dont want you to win brandy!

    • IDK October 23, 2012

So excited! and if ti do sell over that!!! smh! Im going to be too excited for her!

  57. KNUCK October 22, 2012

LOL!!!! Somebody’s stans are FUMING when the good congratulatory comments have -15!!!! I could see if the comment came for your fave but to thumbs down someone’s comment that says they are proud of Brandy?! Grow up!!! This is funny as hell.. People are so insecure.. Calling Brandy every type of flop under the sun yet banging the keys with those CLUBBED fingers just to hate and thumbing down all the good comments.. wow!

  58. #87 :D October 22, 2012

This album is no adrodisiac,Full Moon,or Never Say Never. Just a basic R&B album with sprinkles of different genres here and there. There are 5 beautiful songs on there. I brought the deluxe edition. I support brandy. This album deserves nothing more than at least a few Grammy nominations. The starz have so over hyped this album it has been a let down. R&B Divas>2/11.
Plus why would you name an album the same thing as a malt liquor beverage? Just sounds ratchet. You can make all the excuses you want. These are poor debut positions. Im even more afraid to see the actual number of sales. Im going to buy another standard copy since I brought mime via amazon digital and give it to a friend who likes her.I’ll simply take the tracks I like and make a best of brandy playlist. Overall the album is a 6/10. It drags at alot of places

    • MUSICHEAD October 22, 2012

I respect your opinion but this is the album I’ve been wanting Brandy to make since Full Moon. This is her best album to date…BY FAR! But that’s my opinion and that’s the beauty of Brandy’s body of work. People with different tastes in music can appreciate her work shows how versatile she has been throughout her career. Afrodisiac is my least favorite album by her (with the exception of Human) but a lot of people (including you) seemed to like it. Does it mean it was a bad album? No. Just not what I wanted from her. Maybe the next album will be more to your liking but in order to even get a next album we have to support this one. Two Eleven is the album Beyonce TRIED to make with 4. Classic and modern R&B.

      • IDK October 23, 2012

Say that s*** music head!!! I can tell you know music and you know brandy also. 😉

This article just made my day.

Love the album.” Without You,” “No Such Thing As Too Late,” “Let Me Go,” “So Sick,” and “Wildest Dreams” are my favorite tracks.

  61. TEE-NAH October 22, 2012

LOL! Sam stop acting like that album isn’t a flop. Two Eleven debuted at #87 on the UK Albums Chart and #4 on the UK R&B Albums Chart. The R&B Charts is nothing!

    • KNUCK October 22, 2012

you stupid B****, this is the UK. They haven’t even had a COMMERCIAL announcing the album is even out.. You’re simply mad because Brandy is INTERNATIONAL without even trying. So tired of yall stupid h***.. Plus she is about to EXCEED the first week predictions by a long shot.. STFU

      • IDK October 23, 2012

  62. Brandy needs a grammy for 211 October 22, 2012

    Yes yes and f***** yes!!

I must say the promo has been slow. Duno y so slow. But word of mouth has really pushed this album.

I duno even kno whn the last time word of mouth has been more powerfull then the promo its self.

    This album only gets better!!!

    The singles that r out

Pit it down and wildest dreams were the weakest songs on the album.

My fav is paint this house!

But at the rate the album is it really dont matter wat the nxt single are bcuz with a album such as this 1, she cant go wrong with any weak singles frm this point on.

Brandy shut this s*** down this time.

my only hope is xtra sxy videos with a swagg.

Brandy has really proved the haters wrong this time.

I feel it really started with the tribute to Whitney Houston.

brandy will not lose sHe can’t lose with a amazing album like this!

  63. theman October 22, 2012

Congrats to Brandy. She is an amazing artist. But clearly Sam is delusional. What is this doing on the main charts…. This site is shyt, whomever Sam favors thats who he tries to put on a pedestal. If this was anyone else, it would be a flop.

  64. credits October 22, 2012

Positions ans sales don’t even matter at this point. Brandy’s album has pleased her fans, critics and her peers.

    • MUSICHEAD October 22, 2012

Yea they do matter! The label has to see that she can sell albums if they plan to release another one with her. Otherwise, we’re gonna have to wait another 4+ years for another one. Luckily, Two Eleven is selling well and will continue to do well throughout the 4th quarter. She just needs another single cuz Wildest Dreams is only lukewarm right now.

      • IDK October 23, 2012

Yea, she gone sell alot of records but when you up against country singers and etc what can you do?

      • IDK October 23, 2012

At the end of the day, its a solid album.

  65. Brandy needs a grammy for 211 October 22, 2012

I went to walmart and looked for the CD. Didnt understand why I didnt see it, but then I saw 211 brandy full rack, but sold out!

I then went to target looked and looked and same thing sold out!

    I have 2already wanted 1more.

My fav songs on the album is ummm all of them.

But I hope Hardly Breathing for radio and Let me go for the clubs will b a double release.

definitely not time to slow down this is perfect timing for speed in this promo up.

No need for another album anytime soon.

Brandy needs to ride this album till the wheels fall off!!!!!

its really nothing not to like about this album.

    • IDK October 23, 2012

SAY That s***!!!!!!!! And yes! Promo train this album OUT! I hope it gives 5 or 6 grammys! But wow sold out!?!? thats whats up! I noticed someone didnt like your comment but I liked it. There will be other hates tho. Misery loves company. They hate she winning!!!!!!!

  66. RICHANDBLACK11(JUST LIKE BEY October 22, 2012

  68. BitchICan’tEvenSpellWelfare October 23, 2012

Couldn’t sleep. Broke my “Two Eleven” back out.

    “Without You”……wow…just wow. Sang Brandy!

All I have to say is this, if you plan on releasing an album AFTER “Two Eleven,” please understand that the bar has been raised.

  69. Millie October 23, 2012

Yea the CD is a banger!! Best song —> ‘music’ I f*** wit that track!!!!! And she stepped up her performance game as well. These days when no one BUYS music anymore her chart position and numbers are just a testament to the album actually being good, better yet impeccable. Good job brandy, now lets get you another Grammy….

    • whoru October 31, 2012

the only stans that support music CD in DRoves is american Country artist, they consistantly still sell million in a week. White folks in states in south particularly are not savy enough to download anything lol and are very ritualistic so they follow country music like its a religion lol

  70. SHUH October 23, 2012

#4 in the R&B charts in the UK means jack s*** to us in the UK! It’s not like we say “oh gosh we better check the R&B charts to see who’s slaying it” If you aren’t in the top40, then you aren’t getting a hit. Brandy, I love you but you haven’t had a hit in the UK since like mid 00’s. TGJ & Brandy stans stop trying to make out that this album has been a huge success here because it has done absolutely nothing! Brandy hasn’t even been played nor had a decent hit since the mid 00’s in the UK. In saying that, Congrats to Brandy for getting a TOP100 hit in the UK without doing anything and just on her name alone

  71. JHUD JHUD October 23, 2012

JENNIFER HUDSON SLAYS BRANDY AND KELLY ROWLAND..I AM REALLY SHOCKED BY BRANDYS SALES SMH…..K.MICHELLE FIRST WEEK WILL SALE MORE THAN BRANDY COMEBACK ALBUM AND KELLY’S

    • MUSICHEAD October 23, 2012

Jhud barely has a singing career. BOTH of her albums flopped and I’m not really interested in hearing about another until she learns to sing instead of hollering on all of her songs. But this is about Brandy. Back to the topic at hand…

  72. Realest October 25, 2012

If Brandy’s album wasn’t the best album out in a few years i’d feel a way about these haters, too bad none of the others quality has come close due to selling out..

  73. Sam October 27, 2012

I like Brandy, however her Album is not in the UK top 5 at all. It was at #87 and is now nowhere in the top 100 albums on iTunes UK. The facts put up here are not reliable, maybe it was in the Top 5 R&B chart but not the main chart. Stop sending out the wrong information TGJ.

    • whoru October 31, 2012

uhh her album is TOp RNB sam….read closer next time

  74. whoru October 31, 2012

It REALLY a PHENOMENAL ALBUM! The best rnb of the year…i just got it and DAMN it cannot stop listening to it. Her voice is so melodic and her harmonies are intricate! She sings the HELL out of the song slower as well as the whole album….Im thoroughly impressd
