Singer Christina Aguilera will receive the George McGovern Leadership Award at the State Department Wednesday for her contributions to fighting hunger around the world. Aguilera serves as a United Nations World Food Program Ambassador Against Hunger.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expected to speak. Past honorees include a number of lawmakers and business greats like Bill Gatesand Howard Buffett.
