The X Factor 2012 saw its 1st set of eliminations tonight. Find out who’s heading home this week…
After registering the lowest public vote of the contestants, Rylan Clark and Caroylnne Poole were two acts put on the chopping block.
The weekly sing-off proceeded with Rylan taking to the stage first singing ‘One Night Only’ from Dreamgirls, with Carolynne following – singing Faith Hill’s ‘There You’ll Be’.
In the end, it was Rylan who was granted a pass onto next week’s show, after the judges became tied on who to save (courtesy of Louis Walsh). The act’s fate was then reverted back to the public vote – which revealed Carolynne to have the lowest support – ultimately sending her home.
The X Factor continues on ITV1 next Saturday.

I have succumb to xfactor for Sunday only and was deeply, deeply disappointed. Nicole tried to have sass and attitude but she just came across like a fool. The acts were me-di-ocre and Louis is a fool for that mess at the end bowing under the pressure of the crowd and changing his mind. He seemed to think that because he secretly spends the pink pound in london he didnt want to upset his friends

i cant believe david correy and willie jones are thru they couldent even remember the words to the songs and the girl with the patch sucks too i dont think i can watch the show anymore dont like putting people thru just to make people mad
