As one of the many acts inspired by the icon, Whitney Houston‘s passing in the February of this year may have affected ‘Two / Eleven‘ singer Brandy the most, considering the pair’s long running friendship.
So, after naming the aforementioned LP after the date of Houston’s death and her own birthday, last night saw Norwood honor the star in NYC- at her Best-Buy theater outing.
Full performance below…
Whitney Houston Medley
‘What About Us?’
‘Have You Ever?’/’Almost Doesn’t Count’
‘Baby’/’I Wanna Be Down’
‘Put it Down’
‘Wildest Dreams’

MOST R&B ARTIST DO! They all typically sing over a back track at certain parts of a performance. This is especially true of strong dancers. You only hear bullsh** about a performer allegedly lip syncing whe nit’s a BLACK ARTISTS the white media or certain white interest groups dislikes

It’s rare when an artist can make an album with every song being a potential hit single. Brandy definitely achieved that with Two Eleven. So Sick and Slower should be the next 2 singles with No Such Thing AsToo Late sent to Pop radio. Wildest Dreams is the weakest song on the album in my opinion but I bought the single and the album because I want to see Brandy win!

I’ll be seeing her when she comes to DC. The album is a classic. She reinvented R&B like she always does. My faves are ‘Hardly Breathing’, ‘Without You’, and ‘What You Need’.

All these tributes to Whitney just shows Whitney´s out of this world greatness. But Brandy still did a really good job. She seems full of life and she has made a great album. She deserves success. I hope all you people in the USA talking so good about Brandy go to buy the damm album cos I don´t want to see it flop big way. If there is any justice she should do over 200,000. I know there´s no justice so I´m not expecting too much
