Last night, ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’ genius Bruno Mars wowed audiences at ‘Saturday Night Live’ with one of his best performances to date.
Performing the aforementioned ‘Heaven’, the clean cut crooner also used his appearance to debut a new song, ‘Young Girls‘- also lifted from his new LP ‘Unorthodox Jukebox‘.

Why do all these MALE pop singers have such FEMININE voices??? Or constantly OVER-EMPHASIZE their falsetto register all the time??? I have yet to hear the male mainstream singers, besides the country ones, well… Sound like MEN.

As for his ‘Young Girls’ performance: NO THANKS. The lyrics are cheesy and the song is VERY dry and boring.
But his ‘Locked out of Heaven ‘ performance was THE TRUTH. His IS talented but some of his songs, especially his ballads, get on my damn nerves!!!
I guess you haven’t noticed that pop radio prefers male voices to sound lighter / feminine … ( see the careers of : justin bieber, michael jackson,justin timberlake, usher, adam levine,the beatles
and prefer their female singers to sound darker /masculine (see the careers of : Madonna, Tina Turner, Rihanna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga,Janet jackson

I call it the Brian McKnightization of the music industry. Producers love voices that stand out against their arrangements, and modern music celebrates belters, so male singers tend to sing in their upper registers a lot of the time nowadays.

Wow that was Amazing and his new song Young Girls is truly breathtaking. His song heaven has shoot back in the Top 10 of iTunes last night and he’s really smart to not put the new song out until his album drops so he can get people that’s not his fans to go buy it, Good Job BM!

This guy is overrated. Just like every other mainstream pop,R&B,Country, etc genre male.
That is why the females keep dragging them in sales. There has yet to be a new popular male that has gotten the recognition they truly deserve. Bruno is no exception to the rules. Plus he looks like a goo back from south park..

Okay Bruno, I hear you. I’ve grown to love “Locked Out Of Heaven” and I really like “Young girls”. Can’t wait for this album! He is one talented man.
His performance of Young Girls really touched me. It was so beautiful. His skin is ridiculously smooth.
I can’t handle Bruno Mars’ live performances. They’re just too good! It’s just the death of me.
