Beyonce may be hard at work on her fifth studio album, but it seems she is still reaping the rewards from its R&B driven predecessor this year.
Marking the latest hit in her extensive discography, this week has seen her 2011 single ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association Of America.
Details below…
After receiving the same certification in Australia and Sweden, ‘Best Thing‘ hit Platinum in the US this week with combined sales of over 1 million copies, 500,000 copies or so more than her single ‘Countdown‘ which was certified Gold on the same day.
Pulled from her #1 album ‘4′, the number’s commercial feat sees it best sales held by her Dance smash ‘Run The World’, which like ‘Countdown’ holds a Gold certificate.
