I love “Without You” – Love it do death!

Or “Let Me Go” – If you want an Upbeat song.

3rd Choice would be “No Such Thing as Too Late” – Beautiful melodies and lyrics

      CHOOSE ONE PLS??LOL

ehh no she had writing credits on only 3/15 tracks on the album and even then that was wtih 3-4 other songwriters.

    • HALF AMAZIN November 14, 2012

Why are you pseudo-critics fixated on writing credits? Whitney Houston wasn’t a writer but is one of the most celebrated voices EVER.

You try and fail so just keep quiet.

  15. TYLER* November 7, 2012

    LET ME GO

THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HER SECOND SINGLE TO PIGGY BACK OFF OF “PUT IT DOWN”

THAT GOES FOR THE CLUBS, WITH A CATCHY HOOK, AND IT WILL AT LEAST BE A TOP 10 ON THE R&B CHARTS…

    KEEP IT REAL
“WILDEST DREAMS” WAS NOT THE BEST CHOICE

SINGLES SHOULD HAVE BEEN/ SHOULD BE

    1. PUT IT DOWN
    2. LET ME GO
    3. SCARED OF BEAUTIFUL
    4. WILDEST DREAMS
    5. NO SUCH THING AS TOO LATE (FOR THE FANS)

BUT HONESTLY TO GET BACK ON THE CHARTS AND HEARD AGAIN

    “LET ME GO”

ALSO SHE COULD EVEN DO A REMIX WITH A RAPPER ON IT TO BOOST SALES
    AND AIRPLAY

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

YOU MUST TWEET HER THIS. 🙂

      • James November 7, 2012

I really looooove let me go! It thumps too.. or from the deluxe cd, What You Need! Also, Without you.

  16. Truegeminierock November 7, 2012

LET ME GO or Hardly Breathing. A Scared of Beautiful dance mix would be hot tho.

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

      🙂

  17. doubline47 November 7, 2012

Slower with a remix of ASAP will be cool, but not cheap video though

  22. RoyalKev November 7, 2012

You can’t take this question on coming from a stan’s perspective. You have to also look at what will bring your fav the most success. I’ll be frank because I don’t play when it comes to Brocka, she can’t be safe! Wildest Dreams is just that! Brandy can’t listen to those fans that want something reminiscent of 90’s. Some people hated PID, but that’s what she needed! Period!

Brandy don’t have to always resort to singing a damn ballad or being stuck in this box because people don’t encourage her to be innovative. The album is sick because it’s risky! Some of the material on the album can help her go further! Give us all the heavy stuff at the end. You give people heat on the first 3 singles. There’s so much confusion about what single should be next because she really made a great album and that’s why so many people gravitated towards so many different songs.

    Here’s what I suggest:

    1. Put It Down
    2. Wildest Dreams
    Then

#3. Do You Know What You Have (which is already on the radio. Why? … cuz it’s hawt!)

    OR

#3. Slower (trust me, even if this song slowly moved up 5 spots every week, it’ll eventually become a hit). I’d bet money on it! The video would be dangerous!!!!

    OR

#3 So Sick (This just needs a cool breezy video and people will totally get it).
    —————————————————————————————

THEN you can give us all the substance. No one has to be left out.

Wrap up with Hardly Breathing, Scared of Beautiful OR Without You. (…as the LAST single)…

So this is how I’d categorize it:

Sure thing: Do You Know What You Have, Slower, So Sick (these are the big guns)

Promising , but risky: Let Me Go (it’s in the same vein as PID, don’t know if Bran should give the same thing twice).

Great single, but not needed now: Without You/Hardly Breathing/Scared of Beautiful (Save this stuff for later!!!!)

Just a No: Paint This House, No Such Things as Too Late

Wild card : Wish Your Love Away

THANK YOU FOR READING MY MIND. 🙂

      • RoyalKev November 7, 2012

🙂 I just don’t want her to release singles right now that sound like someone’s solo in church! I really wish people would stop sending her in that direction! A full era goes from hot, sassy, s***, then thought provoking. You can’t give away certain gems too early.

        http://www.thepagewithroyalkev.com

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

      THANK YOU 🙂

    • DJ2FACE November 9, 2012

I agree with you on DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE…MIKE WILL is so hot right now so…in following trend it should be her next single….the beat is sick and the vocals are on point…one of my fav songs on the album

    • HALF AMAZIN November 14, 2012

You’re right. I still dont enjoy Put It Down but I understand why it was released. Let Me Go with a rap feature should be the next single IMO

  23. DELTA November 7, 2012

“No Such Thing As Too Late.” Clearly. But I’m sure it won’t be released.

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

      SO SICK FOR ME. 🙂

  24. damn November 7, 2012

wish your love away should be release. CAn’t e friends did amazingly well and wish your love away has a v.similar sound

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

      REALLY??

  25. Kev November 7, 2012

So sick or no such thing as too late

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

SO SICK FEAT THE HOTTEST RAPPER FOR NEXT YEAR IMHO

  26. bibi93 November 7, 2012

No Such Thing As Too Late

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

SOMETHING MORE HARDER ON THE ALBUM .

  27. MUSICHEAD November 7, 2012

Order of singles to push this album:

    1. Put It Down
    2. Wildest Dreams
    3. No Such Thing As Too Late/ Slower (Double Single)
    4. Scared of Beautiful (Pop Remix)/ So Sick (Double Single)
    5. Let Me Go (Remixed feat whatever rapper is hot next year)
    6. Without You

“Do You Know” doesn’t have to be issued as an official single because radio has already picked it up. Let it build on it’s own and shoot a video when and if it goes top 20.

  28. LittleJohnny November 7, 2012

I voted for ” DO You Know What You Have”. It’s an amazing song and the choreography and video concept would kill.

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

SHE NEED A RADIO BANGER TO BOOST SALES THOUGH SO DO YOU THINK THAT IS THE RIGHT CHOICE??

      • JP November 8, 2012

        Exactly @ beyhive,

I’m slightly annoyed that people keep recommending DYK. It’s cute but that’s not a sure radio banger to boost sales

  29. nickalus Randle November 7, 2012

this is hard, b/c the entire cd is AMAZING, BUT she needs a club banger & an r&b banger…I kinda wish she had did 2 cds: 1 for club & this 1, cause it is full of beautiful songs, I can play all of them, BUT I want her in the klubs, so people can know she is here!!!

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

BTW CO-SIGN BUT WHICH ONE THEN??

  30. MUSICHEAD November 7, 2012

BTW, Put It Down finally hit Top 20 at Rhythmic radio this week and sits at #3 at urban radio. She needs a new single ASAP while she still has radio programmers’ attention. Pop radio might start playing Put It Down by the end of the month since the song is still growing overall. RCA needs to jump on that!

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

      TWEET THIS TO BRANDY 🙂

    • IDK November 8, 2012

      MUSICHEAD!!!!!!! Good 1

  31. CURLY SUE November 7, 2012

While I love Wildest Dreams, I don’t see it doing too well on radio. Do You Know is the best choice for right now, but her team will probably wait another 20 years to release a new single/video. 🙁

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

WHICH WOULD YOU VOTE TO BE THE NEXT SINGLE THOUGH??

  32. Rev the Cool Nerd November 7, 2012

I’m a huge Brandy stan, but honestly, people are picking their favorites, not what will sell. To be honest, she won’t sell w/ strictly R&B. She needs to drop that pop record, and the closest pop record she has (and that’s appropriate for the season) is “Without You”. That’s automatic airplay. It’s uptempo enough to get someone’s attention, and that, hopefully, will lead to getting the public’s attention. The public eats up singles, and since this is the third, it sets up the consumer to have an even better judgment about buying the album. I love me some Brandy, but if she’s trying to sell bigger numbers and keep consistency (especially with acts like A. Keys coming this year and Bey next year), she needs to keep the buzz going and getting better.

    3rd Single “Without You”
4th Single “Let Me Go” (During the Spring time)
5th can be whatever if they make it that far. (“Can You Hear Me Now” or “What You Need” for the urban market/club banger w/ no video)

R&B is NOT selling, so she has to go w/ what the people want to hear (and if she’s successful, then she can put R&B back out in the market because it’s still an R&B album.) But “No Such Thing as Too Late” and “Do You Know What You Have” as singles??? Nah…I love both songs dearly, but they’re too slow (and for non-fans, “boring”).

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

WHAT ABOUT SOSICK THOUGH FEAT A RAPER. BUT I ALSO LIKE YOUR SUGGESTION THOUGH AND IT CAN ALSO BE RELEASE TO MAINSTREAM STATION WHICH THEY WILL PALY. HMMMMM STILL DIFFICULT THOUGH.:)

      • Rev the Cool Nerd November 7, 2012

“So Sick” is definitely dope, but no one will listen to it 🙁

Honestly, I didn’t like “Put it Down” at first, but everyone else was like “omg this song is so cute!!! I love it!” Mind you, these are non-Brandy fans saying that. “So Sick” would’ve been slaying in ’02. But if she isn’t releasing David Guetta/Calvin Harris assisted dance records, she’s getting nowhere (which really sucks). Mainstream is so fickle, and the closest she can get to that type of airplay is PID and Without You (for the winter), then Let Me Go (right on time for the spring).

If she did a collab w/ a rapper, she needs to snag Kendrick Lamar on a “Wildest Dreams” remix for the hip-hop heads.

    • RymeReason November 8, 2012

I agree with your first paragraph however I disagree with you saying DYKWYH is a bad single choice. That is actually the one song that everyone is going up for. It will do well on urban radio and was produced by Mike Will who is really big now. That would be good for the fall. Winter should have Scared of Beautiful which is another pop sounding song.

So Sick is very anthemic and very catchy. The lyrics are also very relatable, that is another urban banger for the spring, so I disagree that no one will like it. That is another fan favorite.

Scared of Beautiful is also a good POP song. They lyrics are very relatable across the board as well as deep. I can see that one doing well overseas. Not all music overseas is heavy dance and pop.

      • Rev the Cool Nerd November 10, 2012

True, but those songs won’t sell. The urban market is nice, but that’s not Billboard, Z100, or other popular radio stations that will get her name out to a wider audience. “DYKWYH” is a great song, bad single choice. She hit her urban market with PID and Wildest Dreams. Now it’s time to hit the major “pop” market. That’s where she’ll get that boost in popularity. Then, she’ll be performing at Billboard Music Awards, MTV Awards, etc. and have a better shot at winning more Grammies.

“So Sick” is semi-anthem. If you’re looking for anthems, you go to A.Keys for that. You see how she put out “Girl on Fire” and “New Day”, and they’re getting her a buzz for the album. The same thing happened with “No One” and “Doesn’t Mean Anything”. THOSE are anthems that crossed over. Urban markets don’t get you anywhere like before.

“Scared of Beautiful” is nowhere near pop. No one wants to sit down. The general public wants to have fun and dance. You saw Usher make that transition, Pitbull is the king of features, J.Lo’s career was revived because of her dance records. That’s just the easy formula. The difference here is that Brandy has released one of the most solid albums of her career. So she can afford to reach out to pop stations, because the album speaks for itself and lives up to its critical acclaim. The lyrics in “Scared of Beautiful” are beyond outstanding, but the major market won’t listen to lyrics immediately. No one peeped that “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster the People was about school shootings. The hook and the beat made it sell. Hell, Frank Ocean was heavily talked about for a minute, but “Thinkin’ Bout You” did nothing for him in terms of album sales. IMO, I think he admitted his past relationship to help push some units, but, it didn’t amount to much.

She needs to drop some pop records to get her where she once was. “Sittin on Top of the World” 2.0 won’t cut it in today’s market.

  33. King. November 7, 2012

Its hard to choose! I would go with Hardly Breathing, No Such Thing As Too Late, or Slower.

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

      I THOUGHT SLOWER.:)

  34. desi November 7, 2012

Though to choose one song on such a GREAT ALBUM, but ill say “without you” to hit all radio stations!

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

I WAS WITH WITHOUT YOU TOO BUT WENT FOR SO SICK. 🙂

  35. Charles Foxtrot November 7, 2012

Hardly Breathing…fits the cold season, kinda sad vibe, and the production is distinctly r&b but close enough to this dance mess that’s going on, with its throbbing bass line and such.

AND NO MORE LIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEOS.

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

      ??

    • RymeReason November 8, 2012

I agree with you. Hardly Breathing is perfect for the fall. The beat knocks so it’ll be perfect on radio. It’s also slightly pop.

So Sick should be for the spring season and then open the summer with Let Me Go.

No uptempo bangers for the WINTER! Save those for the warmer seasons. Do will do much better in the summer.

  36. DEEMO November 7, 2012

wish your love away is my top choice. with a controversial video [think marsha ambrosious far away] it could really slay!!

    • beyhive November 7, 2012

NO SHE NEED A HIT TO BOOST CHART.

    • RymeReason November 8, 2012

Wish your love away is too slow and boring. She just released an R&B track with Wildest Dreams. She needs to release the pop sound and club banger songs. Just because it is your favorite track does not mean it’ll do well on the charts or with radio.

      • Rev the Cool Nerd November 10, 2012

        co-sign

  37. Jer November 7, 2012

She should switch it up and release a hit single. A nice change of pace

  38. Brandy A&R November 7, 2012

Do you know what you have…..she can’t get a MIKE WILL beat and not use it

    • RymeReason November 8, 2012

DYKWYH will be perfect for the winter!!! It’s mellow, has a thumbing beat, and is in trend since it was produced by Mike Will, people will get it and the song is VERY RELATABLE.

  39. mary November 7, 2012

    WITHOUT YOU………

  40. KG November 7, 2012

I think that “Do You Know” Will take her to a major Urban Hit, It won’t take her to a world wide status, but it will be bigger than “Put it Down” was. I think the song will be very influential and definitely make it to #1 fast! “With Out You” is a single that can go straight to pop radio and do very well, she has elements of country, hip hop(from the beat), and pop. This song has alot of different sounds that would work great for mainstream radio. So I think it just depends on what direction she wants to take. With Out You I believe would take her back to that level, it may need a one more verse in it because its kind of short, but other than that…..Whatever Brandy does it will be successful.

  41. RymeReason November 8, 2012

“Do You Know What You Have” for now, and “Scared of Beautiful” at the end of Winter.

And “So Sick” for the Spring. No up tempos for the winter. And then “Let Me Go” for the Summer.

    • RymeReason November 8, 2012

Someone is mad I got them together in another post. And i have a good inclination of who she is. SMH

  42. dub t November 8, 2012

wait a minute…RCA is gonna fund a third single? thats pointless. the album only sold 13k this weeke which means it just barely reached the 100k mark in total sales. lets face it, the album flopped. instead of deciding on a 3rd single she should be working on the next album. #realtalk

    • RymeReason November 8, 2012

No, she is not Rihanna, she will not be releasing multiple low quality low substance microwavable pop influenced albums within a short time frame.

RCA CLEALY has the budget to fund another album dimwit. They are the ones who are asking us what should be released next. Just because the album debuted with low numbers does not mean that it was a bad album. The album is a masterpiece and they believe in not only her but the music. Releasing more singles will ensure that more people buy it and it will get more notoriety, airplay and visibility.

The gays think they know the business just because of a billboard. Smh

  43. IDK November 8, 2012

I think , like others were saying. She should release two videos. 1 for pop radio and 1 for R&B radio. So for pop I guess it could be No such thing as too late or Without You. And For R&B I would say “Let Me Go” or “Do you Know what you have here”. I hope she do it. Good Luck tho Brandy!!! I love you and Congrats on selling over 100,000 copies so far!!!!! Keep pushing it!!!! #promotrain #stars!

    • RymeReason November 8, 2012

There are some angry miserable and mad b****** in here. Why on earth would they give you thumbs down???

  44. Ziggy Stardust November 8, 2012

The one song that I can’t stop listening to is, “Slower”. That’s my joint right there! I think that would be a perfect next single. I can see that song being played on the radio. If only the song was a little bit longer. “0)

Do You Know What You Have should be sent to Urban simultaneously
Wish Your Love Away be the last single.

Do You Know should have a remix featuring Kendrick Lamar or Drake

    and/or

I could see No Such Thing being remixed as a duet with someone like Usher a la Justin & Beyonce’s Until The End Of Time.

Scared Of Beautiful is my pick.
Lyrically is so in tune with many across the world.

No such thing as too late is next obvious (BUT it gives me that “Departed” feel though & we all know how that did!!)

If Brandy decides uptempo then Let Me Go
If she chooses s*** then Do You Know What

OMG this album has a lot to choose from expecially R&B single wise.

Let me go sounds likes a single (mentions things like twitter and just has swag)

Can you hear me now…because it’s so sessy.

Let Me Go should have been the second single instead of Wildest Dreams followed by No Such Thing As Too Late, Without You, Hardly Breathing, or So Sick.

obviously urban radio is what’s gonna push this album…with that being said radio stations will eat up SLOWER

I say “Do You Know”. That song will be MASSIVE on urban radio and in the clubs. It’s s*** as hell and extremely catchy. The urban crowd WILL purchase your album if they feel like you’re worth it, and DYK will put BRocka back on the map. Y’all keep screaming “pop radio,” but let’s keep it real…..they will download her single, but they aren’t gonna buy her album.

BTW: I can’t wait to see Brandy live on Saturday!!!

DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE!!!!

Selling 13k after 3 weeks is headiing towards flop no matter what you put out.

Don’t be fooled. RCA is a business. It keeps selling at this rate, she’s gonna be dropped.

    Just reality.

why is she going to be dropped? it doesn’t look that they put that much monye into her promo or her videos so what did they really lose? Put it down has achieved moderate success anyway.

I want the masses to hear all the songs, lol. Too difficult to choose. If she should choose Scared of Beautiful, I would be really intrigued to see the accompanying visual as the message is so universally essential to the human collective. The visual should be some other dimension ish, real talk, lol. Without You is also really nice as a 3rd single for pop and urban radio.

I would like for her next single to be “So Sick” or “Do you Know”. Those songs are so hot!!!!!
