However, if their war of words on Twitter last night is anything to go by, there’s no love lost between Lady GaGa producer DJ White Shadow and Nicki Minaj A&R consultant Safaree Samuels.

For reasons yet to be specified, Shadow took to his account to share the following two nights ago:

Deleting the message upon it setting the social network alight, Shadow found himself bombarded with tweets by Minaj’s fan base ‘The Barbz‘, forcing him to explain:

hate to break it to you but a fact is that nicki minaj is a commodity of the current musical landscape with no real discernible talent (but a lot of charisma) whereas lady gaga (love her or hate her) has one of the best voices in pop music (can’t really be argued from a technical standpoint, preferences aside) and is an accomplished songwriter.
if she chooses, gaga will be making music for the next decade or 2. nicki will be lucky if she gets another 5.
