For all her success in the Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger‘s solo run has been a journey plagued by peaks and troughs. Indeed, despite many attempts, the Pop stunner has struggled to achieve anything beyond “moderate” singular success — in Europe.
However, with her popularity soaring due to her turn as a judge on The X Factor UK, it appears plans are underway for another crack at chart-stardom.
In a new interview with Look Magazine, the 34 year old revealed that her
third second studio album is actually complete:
LOOK: Can we expect a new album soon?
Nicole: My album’s actually finished. I finished it before I started the show – but I’m so involved in the show. I know the single already, it’s going to come out really soon.
As keen appreciators of Nicole’s technical skill, we’ve also noted how a lack of personality (publicly) hindered her efforts in the past. Like, there was a serious disconnect between her butter-wouldn’t melt exterior and her racy lyrics/stage antics. Put simply, despite knowing her, many still felt they didn’t know her.
Fast forward today and the climate looks to be one a new Nicole album could swim in. She’s, by far, the most entertaining judge on British X Factor (although we’re sure she wishes she acted the same on the US show, which boasts a bigger pay-packet) and has penetrated the media enough to make her new release noteworthy. Hence, should she deliver with the material, Ms. Scherzinger could be on to a winner.
