New Song: Ke$ha – ‘C’Mon’

Ke$ha keeps her ‘Warrior’ themed party amped with new song ‘C’Mon’.

“Unlocked” by the singer herself today, the track features on her sophomore LP, which roars into stores next month (December 4th).

Preceded by lead single ‘Die Young’, it appears the album is set to be Dr Luke-flavoured – juding by this latest musical slice.

Take a listen below…

While, clearly, from the same school of production as ‘Die’ and pretty much every Ke$ha offering we’ve heard to date, the song seems to lack the sprinkles of infectious that feature on most of her previous offerings; that taste that has one coming back for more. Indeed, the hook is the primary problem – it’s not particularly strong, which for a Ke$ha cut is borderline criminal.

Still, the very fact it is a Ke$ha cut means she’s likely onto a hit. Whether it’s deserved is another discussion. For now, though…

      My thoughts exactly.

She needs to call Nicki and record a remix of this song.

Kesha has already worked with Nicki on the Britney remix. She dont need that stupid h** for hit. See her past singles and see nicki’s past single success.

Then again, this BASIC b**** has a cheek to put ROCK MUSIC and generic ELECTRO-POP in the same sentence.

Rock music is NOT a genre you just f*** around with GWORL… KIIIII.

thats what im saying its the dame dance shittt

i absolutely hate when people say stuff about their new music and it doesnt manifest

i prefer you let the work speak for itself because dr luke said her new sons would show case her vocals better and with more debt yet her 2 enew singles sound the same and sound like every other kesha song

      its one dimensional with her

      i love her though

        It’s the same, GENERIC Electronic-oriented Dance/Pop music.

Last year, she practically TOURED North-America, telling everybody that she was going to include Hard-Rock and Heavy-Metal influences into her “New” release, I mean, SERIOUSLY GIRL?

The last time I checked… ‘Hard-Rock & Heavy Metal, (as well as Rock music as a whole) are two of the most ACCLAIMED and RESPECTED genres of ALL TIME, so how does she think she can mix that in with ELECTRO? LMFAOOO.

It’s a FLOP and CRITICAL FAILURE waiting to happen.

By ‘Rock’, I think she meant to say cheesy Pop/Rock though like Maroon 5 or FUN KIII.

lol clearly…. we agree for once :)

Rihanna realy isnt that bad …. she isnt essenciallly a bad singer i think some people cant appreciate her tone.. but that doesnt equate to her being bad at it.

But i respect your opinion :)

        Forever Animal says:

When did she say heavy metal??? That would be career suicide. But I agree with you, I want to hear more rock stuff like her Alice Cooper collab What Baby Wants or the unreleased rock songs like Pretty Lady, WooHoo, and my fav Things Work Out My Way

        JAKE says:

Yeah… Your right. Rihanna isn’t “Horrid”, she’s just extremely “Un-coordinated” at times, by and large – BOTH musically & in her live performances.

I thought her performances of ‘Stay’ and ‘Diamonds’ on SNL was EXTREMELY GOOD, regardless of what anyone says, even my own Beyhive.

But, you know, Rihanna & Bey. are the ONLY BLACK WOMEN in the music industry, as of now, who are TRULY monumental, in a commercial sense, and I think that we, me included, need to start caring and supporting our own…

Us, as Black people, tend to be very fickle. We booed Whitney back in the day for being too successful a.k.a “Being too White” and did the same to Janet, Michael, Toni etc… We should embrace one and other and appreciate the success!!!

but it’s her style but I do feel you she could take a risk and put out a ballad or something…. like she had this song on her last album that was so good called the Harold song it was a pop ballad she shoulda released it as a single people woulda saw a deeper side to her..

Ummmm if she’s gonna follow “Die Young” with this crap she is sorely mistaken. Kesha isn’t in that “I’m the new hot pop chick” zone anymore so she DOES have to prove herself, like all the divas before her, she’s gonna experience what happens when you can’t come up with anything else. The legends are legends because they were able to push their music, image, and style thru decades. I mean come on with this BS

  14. November 15, 2012 at 10:07 pm
    UMo says:

I refuse to even listen. Kesha is a walking trash can. You can literally see flies circling her. Her fame is inexcusable and in 5 years when people will look back at this horrid pop era, she’ll be the biggest groan.

    XoMoDe says:

This ditz was never gonna go in a “rock” direction. That was all just empty talk. Like rock fans would ever embrace her. No matter what she does, all she is going to play to is the same old effeminate glitter queens in tight pants who pranced around to “We R Who We R”, so what’s the point in doing something to possibly alienate them, which would be the death of her career? Kesha is completely manufactured and formulaic; there’s no way her team would let her stray even a quarter mile away from her usual crap to venture down a road where she would most likely fail. She isn’t talented enough to sell anything other than electro-trash, isn’t big enough to defy convention and doesn’t have a broad enough fan base to step outside the box she emerged in. She was born and bred as electro b*******, and she’ll die with it.

BTW, the fact that Kesha is still being talked about in 2012 is totally horrendous. You know music is dead when creatures like this are allowed to be popular. She’s ghastly.

I’m over this no-talent and her Jersey Shore episode background music. How anyone can take anything this clown does seriously is beyond me. She’s horrific! In an era where 90% of music is bad, she still manages to make hers stand out as the ultimate worst.
