Maybe because I don’t like the song I’m being a little hard on Brandy with this video… But I didn’t like it…. If she was gonna do a performance video she should’ve just performed the song somewhere and made it her video. Hopefully she does better with the nxt song and video

I think it was a good idea. It was very realistic than an airbrushed editing type of video. She looked beautiful but it still looked like a music video as well. This is nothing new. It has been done by plenty of artists for a music video.

Disagree. There are plenty more single choices and remix options for the songs on the album.
If not really feeling this video but it doesn’t stop me playing the album continuously. I had the same issue with Keyisha Cole’s enough of no love video and Mariah we belong together. hated both those videos but love the songs to death

I think it’s a really solid clip. It’s just a performance video that has Brandy front and center looking amazing. I wanted about 5 or 6 other songs to be the 2nd single, but this video serves it’s purpose. It makes W.D.’s even more appealing to me.

Scared of Beautiful would do well at pop but I don’t think urban radio would touch it. Let Me Go in it’s current form would not do well. However, Slower would be a great next single and Paint This House could be a contender next summer as maybe the last urban single. It would be a slow and steady riser kinda like Beyonce’s Dance For You.

LOVE the song. Not the video. Alot of the hand motions, hip swaying, high attitude choreography is a bit much and overdone throughout the video. its getting a bit redundant, worked for Put It Down, but I hope she doesn’t go this route in all of her performances. Would love to see Brandy just in her element, easy, chill, relaxed. Paint This House should be the next single!!!!

why is it overdone? Many others (ie. Beyonce, Gaga, etc) use a lot of hand gestures in there choreo…Brandy has been relaxed and chill her whole career, she needs to go this route, being more risky and having more dance movements…that makes the visual more memorable.

Those girls careers started off in that vain and it makes sense for them. Not Brandy. I have no issue with her adding more dance movements/choreography into the mix, just opposed to alot of the high attitude/Frank Gaston movements for her specifically. Its nice that she tried it in the first video, but I’m hoping that it ends with Wildest Dreams. It can tend to look forced and a bit awkward at times, the more i see her do it. There’s no doubt in my mind that she can create memorable visual moments without all the Sasha Fierce moves…

It may feel awkward to you because you’re not used to seeing Brandy dance like that…but it’s 2012, and it’s her 6th album…the chill, relaxed, mellow Brandy didn’t work for her past 2 albums…she needed to swith it up a bit, especially for the young generation, and also because she’s in a major competitive ball park with other females such as Rihanna, Beyonce, and the like…Frank Gatson is a world renown choreographer so just having his name stamped on her work will gain recognition…I understand it’s ur opinion and all, but from a business stand point, I think she’s heading in the right direction with what she’s doing and the choices she’s made…this is a side to Brandy we’ve never really seen before and I think it’s quite interesting.
Btw, I went to her show in NYC the night before the album release, and the crowd went crazy over the “high attitude” dance moves for Wildest Dreams…people really got into the performance, and it exceeded my already high expectations.

I hate myself for even suggesting this, because I hate dance/pop, but…
I think she should commission a dance remix for this song and video to give it extra life. Send both versions out together and let the stations that wanna play the original play it, and let the stations that wanna be an uptempo version play it.
Whitney pulled this stunt with her MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE album, issuing dance-heavy remixes along with the album versions and it worked. So why not?

WILDEST DREAMS gives me FULL MOON Brandy vibes & wasn’t one of my favorite tracks from her album but the video is pretty good and makes me want to view it more than once which is making me like the song more. I hope she does get to release one more track & it has got to be one of those smoking ballads.
