The only categories I care about and wanted to comment on are:
Best R&B Performance: This will be between Miguel & Usher and they’ll probably give it to Usher Hon Mention – Estelle: love the lyrics and her but she hasn’t got a snowballs’ chance
Best Traditional R&B Performance: This should be between Melanie Fiona (CONGRATS on the nom) & Anita Baker but they’ll probably going to give this to Bee
Best R&B Song: I’m rooting for Elle (CONGRATS on the noms) but I think Miguel will win this one
Best Urban Contemporary Album: Rooting for Miguel but I think Frank Ocean will win (I will throw shoes @ the tv if CB wins)
Best R&B Album: all great (except Tyrese) so I’d be happy with whoever wins although I seriously doubt Kells will
Best Rap Performance: Nas should win but they’ll probably give it to Jay & Kanye
Best Rap/Sung Collaboration: I only listen to & like Nas/Amy Winehouse (RIP) & Rhi/Jay but don’t care who wins
Best Rap Song: Daughters, hands down but again they’ll probably give it to Jay (although I pray that no one with sense would give any award to a song with the ‘n’ word in the title)
Best Rap Album: Nas or The Roots (Drake’s put me to sleep each time I tried to listen to it)
Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance: Tamela Mann or Mary Mary
Best Gospel Song: Hold On
Best Gospel Album: all great nominees but I’m rooting for Identity or Jesus At the Center Live

I honestly think this is one of the BEST lists they have HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! excluding Carly Rae Jepsen and a few others but COngrats to Miguel (REAL TALENTED AND INVENTIVE ARTIST), Elle VArner Nas, Tamia, SWV and my girl Monica,, OMg so happy she along with FRed Hammond, and James Fortune got nominated… Thats a real Inspiring gospel song!

I love me sum Frank Ocean album, BUT IDK, this whole gay thing is being blown up 2 much & I AM GAY, i support ALL, but MIGUEL SLAYS!!!!!!!! I am kinda mad nicki didnt get NOT 1, WTF? but it happend to India Arie & Jill Scott too, so I guess thats just how it is….it took even Mary like 4 albums to get a grammy so, no love lost, keep pushing boo!!!!!! that call me maybe girl tho-really?!?!?! I don´t see how that Kelly Clarkson song “Stronger” can be nominated for record and song of the year?? It´s a good pop song if you want but really, not the type of song that should be nominated for a grammy-main category
I hope Miguel and Florence win something, they deserve it. Both albums are so great
And who the hell really thought Justin Beiber was going to be nominated?? Grammys get it wrong sometimes, but not that much 🙂
I´m ok with Frank Ocean having many nominations. But he may not win. With the grammys you never know
Overall, not bad, but I really think 2012 has been such a bad year for music in general, grammys didn´t have that many options, in fact I think that is the reason they let an R&B song get a song of the year nomination, very rare lately (not that Miguel doesn´t deserve it but u know what I mean)
Why is that horrendous girl Carly or whatever her name is nominated for best vocal performance? With Adele for example? One of those jokes you´ll always have even at the grammys
And where is Rihanna nominated? I didn´t even see it! 🙂 LOL at her crazy stans again acting as if she were doing it big at the grammys or something. There were alotta surprises,shockers,and well deserveds. Congrats to queen bey,jay-z and kanye, 2 chainz,kelly clarkson,chris brown,katy perry and usher. And last but not least so surprised and happy for nas,melanie fiona,tamia,elle varner,miguel,swv,and frank ocean bcuz they are all deserving and for not being overlooked. Congrats to the grammy noms board for getting a lot right this year.
