Rihanna has been nominated from an album y’all said was wack. LOL Billboard and Sony must feel so stupid, In april, they HOSTED A GALA intoducing RITA WHORA AS THE NEXT BIG THING IN MUSIC. One guest said she was the new beyonce.
SO, where is her grammy nod for best new artist? Where is her grammy nod? After all that hype of being the next best thing who will snatch wigs – SHE IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. GUESS HER P**** AND HEAD GAME IS WACK. Not to mention she has not talent.
Yessss gurl and Nicki and nominated for S*** LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
*aint
lmmmaaaaooooo!!!!!!!!!!
this is what happen when you make rush POPtechno pseudo rap MESS .. IT FLOP SO HARD! then add that to disrespecting the Legends this past months. the c*** is stepping the wrong toe.
see all the ONIGER FANS CRIES LIKE 13 years old spoiled brat.
hahhahahahhahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahhah!!!!!!!!
watch Oniger excuse…. RAPPER? BLACK? lmao!!!!
Them legends aren’t nominated, either
ONIGGER album is still PLat, Mac endorsement for 2013, new album coming next yr & u will DEAL !
thats cuz they already have there vaults full of awards….its the reason why they are called legends …duh!
All my favs got nominations
Rihanna 3 nominations
Frank Ocean 5 nominations
Trey SOngz 1 nomination
im good, yall??????
I’m happy for Rihanna and Kelly Clarkson noms
This is awful, i won’t watch that mess, i’m not even interested in the category of “Best Rock album”, i mean, are this nominations for real, glad I’ve never liked the Grammys.
Count me on the “Not tuning in list”
I think they focused on singles more the albums this year hence people like Niki Minaj, JB were snubbed but Taylor atleast got noms, CB got one but yeah its a snooze fest alright! unless they trick us by letting our faves perform.
UNA is gonna get mega NODS next year in 2014 that album is even more stronger, bigger and artistic. UNA has sold 4 M WW. Global itunes chart: Diamonds number 1
WFL NUMBER 38
WHYB NUMBER 48
RIGHT NOW NUMBER 68 on the global itunes chart
when will yo fave? FUCKAWHOREAND20DICKS
really happy she got some good NOMS in good categories. And this was meant to be her wack album and they say she has no talent and Rita WHORA SLORA WILL SNATCH HER WIG. where is WHORA?
I AM HERE AS YOU REQUESTED!
Damn, how many nominations is that for Francine Ocean? I guess it does get better eh?
P.S Did anyone else spot Francine Ocean’s French boo?
THAT LIST IS TO LONG FOR ME TO CARE……
BUT CONGRATULATIONS TO RIHANNA KATY & NICKI SNATCH ALL THE AWARDS #PHUCKYOFAV
nicki isnt nominated for anything.
katy has one nom
rihanna has 3
omg WTF HOW CANT NICKI BE NOMINATED FOR ANYTHING YET BEYONCE IS STILL GETTING NOMINATED FOR A ALBUM THAT CAME OUT IN 2011 WTFAWWWWWWWK!!!! IM F****** PISSSED
That’s what I’m saying…how the f*** is Beyonce nominated for s*** and she ain’t even put nothing out…it’s really a shame. Then they nominate Nicki for absolutely nothing when she had some of the best songs of this year, and one of the best selling albums of the year. It’s really a shame, especially when they nominate Frank Ocean for publicity. smdh. Like, what has he done this year? Nicki should have at least got nominated for best rap album or best rap song. This Grammy’s is trippin’ and I WON’T be watching.
Nicki is still super rich and the most famous, best selling female rapper EVER. Haters can never take that away. Madonna did not get her fist grammy till 1998. Like they ignored VOGUE?
Anyway, she won a VMA, 2 AMAs, and a BET Award, so this gonna be a show she just gonna have to sit out I guess….and all the people who got nominated for Album of the Year, I never f****** heard of before…like WTF? I’m pressed…#spacebar.
Of course you’ve never heard of them before; you listen to garbage like Nicki Minaj.
@EJ EXACTLY IM PISSED STARSHIPS WAS ON OF THE BEST SELLING SINGLES OF THIS YEAR SHE SOLD MORE ALBUMS THAN ANY RAPPER THIS YEAR SMFH…….
Sales =/= quality.
So “Based on a TRU story” was a quality Rap album?
“all I want for my birthday is a big booty h**?” I mean, I’m not one to put others down but, in my opinion PFRR is of far better quality.
@ MONSTAREBEL (WARRIOR), It looks like u should have read the list because Nicki isn’t nominated for anything stupid! lol. Im starting to think that you’re a robot. Sam need to start spam checking before allowing comments. SMH!
YASSSSS Frank Ocean & Kelly Clarkson for those nods!!!! And also Miguel!
And already Congratulations on Beyonce’s 17th Grammy. “Love On Top” definitely has that in the bag. This should be an interesting show.
Wrong Side of a Love song just might win it is a very good song.It would not shock me.
SWVs If Only You Knew is a STRONG ONE.!
ummmm im pretty sure lately got this one beyonce over anita baker you gotta be kidding me
Im so happy Miguel was nominated this time. He deserves it!!! And Nas is nominated for four!!! OMG YES!! This man has been overlooked for so many years and its a shame. Finally, a rap artist who isnt talking about ass, money, cars, and clothes is nominating.
*nominated
Yes Nas is the truth! Life is Good is my s***! Glad Miguel got recognised! he is a talented dude!
& Frank ocean really wassup with all these nominations?? did his album even go plastic yet?
The grammy’s are not about sales; it’s said to be about quality of work. Billboard and AMA’s lean more toward sales, spins, popularity.
Real question, no shade no tea: was We Found Love up for awards last year? I cant remember.
this is for the video not the song
yasss rihanna yasss 3 nominations, where is your fave ? *sips tea*
My fav got 5 nominations. Nice try. Mad?
already sittin pretty with 16 in total, 13 as solo H**
@MotherMusic
We all know she bought those, like 16 for what ? getto booty shaking across the stage lmao….

I just hope Rihanna is performing again, she slayed last time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkftWwT4r_c
I’m shocked Miguel got Song of the Year. he deserves it! Congrats to Frank Ocean, I think we can say R&B is back!
me too! i’m so phucking happy for him, such a cutie.
CONGRATS TO RIHANNA ON HER 3 NOMINATIONS!!!!!
OH WHERE OH WHERE IS NICKI FLOPNAJ???!!!
STFU! b**** she is more famouse than you at least now go f*** yourslef m***********. i hope flopzelia banks and lady caca die soon♥
IM MAD AS F***
I want Anita Baker to win. Sorry Bey, you got 16 already. Lol
10 solo
actually 13 check the grammy website.
yea its 13 lol and if rihanna wins all three she have 9!
You know Rita Whora is reading these comments and wishes she could be a STAR. Well you aren’t B**** !
She is a global w**** and black man industry c** bucktet. DOES THAT COUNT?
Welp!! Congrats to Beyonce on her 17th Grammy. Also to riri YAS FOR 3 NODS.
She deserves at least 1.
if she win all three , she have 9! and beyonce have 10 SOLO!
14 solo actually!
She got a standing ovation for this one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4LXdT5qtJs
I sure do hope Rihanna is performing. Her performing “What now” at the Grammy’s would slay my life.
OMG IF SHE PERFORMS WHAT NOW AT THE F****** GRAMMYS THAT WOULD BE EPIC, LEGENDARY,PHENOMENAL, ICONIC OMG
I know, just thinking about it is driving me crazy.
I also really enjoyed that AMA performance. She brought it.
Not a fan, actually I’m not a “believer”of r****’s art, but with diamonds and what now and half of me she outdid herself. I f****** love those songs, especially what now. S*** even love without tragedy/mother marry. Unflopogetic has it’s winners too 😉 if she were to perform any song I mentioned and deliver vocally like she sometimes does, I’ll be slayed for life.
She killed this performance!
Awards shows tend to favor the idea of long-term viability over the quality of the work they reward. I’m over it.
Ms Frank is severely overrated. I can’t take. But Congrats to Miguel he deserves it! Plus that hair staaays laid honey!
It is only the gay thing. He has not talent so he needs to flaunt d***. He is at it again with this french model. He will fade out next year. He has not even gon gold in the USA.
LOL at clueless idiots that don’t even have the slightest clue at what real music is judging it by sales numbers. The reason Frank Ocean has all those noms is because his music has at least SOME artistic integrity something garbage like Minaj/Rihanna will never have.
Don’t really care for Frank Ocean but I love Miguel.
Frank’s not overrated he’s nervous during his performances b/c he’s used to working behind the scenes
he doesn’t promote, have paparazzi, etc.
so how can he be overrated?
I was scared to say this because it seems everyone is on his side since he announced his bisexuality but Lord knows people have been totally overrating this dude. I wish him much success but he is average talent.
sorry i mean 13 solo!
MIGUEL>>>>>> I’m so glad he finally got some recognition..his album is no doubt one of the best releases this year, congrats!! Oh yeah Riri and everyone else who got nomi.
F*** even NAS!!!
The navy are having a great week. While RITA CHEETER WORA SLORA gets PUBLICLY dragged for being a w****,as well as flopping. Rih has scored 3 grammy nods; she has a new TV SHOW COMING TO THE USA; SHE KILLED THE VICKY SECRets fashion show to an audience of nearly 10 million.; she has her first number 1 USA LP , WITH HER BEST SALES; SHE has the global number 1 LP AND SINGLE; SHE HAS THE 12 number 1 breaking records; covers of mens and fashion mags; she has her man back in her life; she directed her first ever fashion shoot.
WHEN WILL YO FAVE? KEEP WHORES PRESSED SINCE 2005
which TV SHOW¸??
GOOD news. They kept making fun of Style to rock getting low ratings in the UK. But, there is so much power in her name…….Style network, owned by E! have picked it up and are going re make the show for us, THE AMERICANS. She lives in teh USA, so she will be in it more. THIS ONE WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN THE UK VERSION. Which she filmed in 5 days.
I guess I will come out as being bi-sexual(never said i was gay so the LGBTQ need to drop it), write a long ass letter, make a mediocre album although some songs were really good and then i can win grammys.I like Frank and think he is talented but he is overrated, his sexuality sells not his music(ask some of his fans to name 7 sngs off of Channel Orange and his first mixtape and they cant) and she would just be a song-writer because that is his strength not being an artist.
KING B <RIHANNA
Well i have my opinion and you have yours
Swim good is bloody fantastic though.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmN9rZW0HGo
HE cannot live on the gay thing forever. Miguel has him beat in looks, voice and talent. Plus, he is loves women and is normal guy doing his thing. His parents will be very proud of how he turned out. He does not need to suck c*** for fame. Miguel will make a lovely daddy and husbands. e f**** bad b******.
Rihanna has been living on s***** singles and her getting beat up by CB for 4 years now. Maybe he’ll have the same luck?
And I like Crack rock, Bad religion, Forrest Gump, second part of Pyramids and Thinking about you. “Lost is my favorite though. Give the album a chance, you might like it.
“Lost” is my favorite song on the album! Brilliant!
i have listened to the whole album.
What about “Pink Matter”?
Pink matter and forest gump my favs!
Yasss love “Pink Matter” too.
ummm frank ocean music is great the grammys is showing this year that sales dont really matter and the quality of your work matters which for the last 2 or 3 years theyve been giving them to ppl who actually sold alot im proud of frank ocean and who cares if he came out it it worked for him because his music is actually good!!!
S*** W**** CHEERTER WHORA DOES NOT HAVE TALENT. IF SHE DID THE GRAMMIES WOULD OF NOMINATED HWD AND RIP. GRAMMYS no there is not talent in that W**** CLONE.
Will u shut the f*** up! Nobody cares what u have to say!
I care what she/he has to say. I enjoy Reading this LMAO
You are mad that I am dragging Rita Whora? GOOOD! It is what I set out to do. I will do more. Merry Xmas.
Sam,
as a black british man, How comes you have ignored estelle getting nominated for a grammy and having a career? YOU keep shoving that white trash W**** down our throat, worse than ROB does his d*** down her throat.
Didn’t her album come out last yr ?
Yoo knoe damm well her LP did not come the same year as Beyonce
Am I strange because i like both Frank AND Miguel? They are COMPLETELY different, their music has 0 in common, yet people constantly pit them against each other. Makes absolutely NO sense. Anyway….
GREAT nominations – Frank, Miguel, Beyonce, Rihanna, NAS, Jay-Z, Anita Baker, Kanye, The Robert Glasper Experiment (brilliant album), Ledisi, Anthony Hamilton….I’m very happy! 🙂
Cheeter Rita whora slora: Black man c** dump. White man c** dump. Armenian man c** dump. Mixed man c** dump. Hawaiian man c** dump.
Sounds like someone is jealous.
Of Rih being nominated for 3 gram? I know you are jealous and your w**** is too.
No you’re jealous of Rita! It’s obvious with your comments and name. Everyone knows it.
Why are ppl still talking about this ?!?
You are jealous of Rihanna. You wish Rihanna can fail like Rita Whora. Nope! She is getting bigger and better and Whora cannot catch her LOL LOL LOL I love seeing Rih win, Whora fail and you die with jealousy and envy.
People are talking about this because she is w****. Not this talented singer who was gonna snatch wigs. She w**** and she will never live this down.
Lol well Chris has that award in the bag
“Fortune” over “channel/Orange” or “Kaleidoscope Dream??””
LOL- NEVER!
Nicki is blocking her OWN fans on twitter. She is having a meltdown SMH
Nicki hasn’t even tweeted, F***
do she look like R**** ?
She’s in PERTH, Australia getting her TOUR ready :-*
B-day in 2 days ! KI!
Lmao. Soo they had thee nerve to say beyonce is a washed up has been and yet is nominated. *winning* Charlie sheen voice.
……And sorry nicki babe. Just wasn’t ur year I guess.
The rest the nominees not surprising except frank ocean *rolls eyes* umm k. Whatever.
congratulations to beyonce ):
I’m like really upset Nicki got snubbed….smfh this s*** ain’t right ugh wtfaaawk
gurl bye, you’re damm joke staning for nicki, i can’t.
Really?? what’s wrong with NICKI??:'(
Lol, not the biggest nicki fan, but I’m starting to love her again (thanks to her interviews lol, I think she has the most entertaining interviews) and I think she deserved a Grammy nod or two. I hated her last album but I loved the re-up funny enough and hopefully they’ll nominate her next year for that?
What y’all gon do when re-up gets nominated ? KIIIII
Her album was straight trash
There you go, thank you!
Snubbed? LOL Not nominating her was one of the few things The Grammys got right this year.
@Common Sense
http://makeupforlife.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/mac-viva-glam-nicki-2-collection.jpg
U mad? KI !
The money still coming regardless for the QUEEN !
That’s all that MATTERS, UGLY !
snubbed? Snubbed was when Mariah got snubbed 8-10 Grammys in 1996 Grammys for Daydream…..she went home empty handed. SMH.
Snubbed is when you don’t WIN @monstarebel
Why are people mad about Frank’s nominations tho?!
Well get ready to *seethe* some more because “channel/Orange” will be in MANY Top 20 albums of 2012 lists, so…….
I have so many favorites in each category that I don’t really care who wins.
I just want to see NAS, Frank, and Miguel get some wins!
Bey or Anita would be awesome.
M.I.A. or Rihanna would be great.
Why would Rita have any noms when none of her songs were submitted? Anyways, congrats to Katy, Beyonce, and especially Rih!! Im baffled by Carly Rae`s noms though o_O
Trust me, ROC NATION PROLLY TRIED TO BUY HER nominations. Have you seen out they have FORCED THIS W**** DOWN OUR THROATS?
UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!
Usher Looking for myself shoulda gotten contem. rnb album nomination.
LMFAO best performance by a duo?? 0___o
Call me maybe best solo pop vocal performance??? she sung very basic
shockers: Kelly clarkson and strong as well as Adorn by Miguel.
Carly, Katy and Rihanna all for pop vocal performance… must a been a slow yr for pop singers…
Nothing from Sparkle???
but congrats to every1 and i hope the academy honors those who are deserving and not who are “it” artists.
AmbeRussell on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/ucohesiveser/AmbeRussell?feature=mhee
LMAO @ Nicki having zero noms
she’s had 4
do u really think “starships” was gonna win song of the yr ?
do u really think “Roman Reloaded” would win RAP album of the yr?
y’all are delusional when y’all wanna be..
The re-up is eligible for 2014
I think Frank Ocean is very talented but best new artist over Lana Del Rey Lianne la Havas and Elle Varner come on I was extremely shocked when I didn’t see lianne la havas REALLY???????????
Glad Fun. got some. Some nights is a great album/
How did Carly get nominations over Lana?!! I thought the Grammys were about quality not the amount of units sold. I guess not. But congrats to Rihanna, Miguel, and M83
We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together being nominated for record of the year should have clued you in that the Grammys don’t exactly look for quality any more.
Yasssssss slayonce, I really wasn’t expecting you to get any more nods from 4! I’m so ecstatic for you. Well deserved, should we get the champagne out for celebrating your 17th Grammy? I think so, but Melanie Fiona is also nominated and I’m kinda worried. But good luck motha. But I’m sooo happy Miguel is nominated! I f****** love his album, Frank ocean too, but we all saw this one coming so meh.but good luck nonetheless and forest gump is still my fav from that album! Congrats everybody else. I’ll be tuning in.hopefully Miguel and Bey get to perform!
Oh and I love somebody that I used to know so congrats goytye (however it’s spelled)
Congratulations to Frank Ocean, Rihanna, Jay-Z. And also congratulations for BEYONCE on her definite 17th Grammy, “Love on Top”, that song is an absolute winner.
Congratulations to every black artists on that list xoxo
Indeed!
Amen
Racist.
Actually I am proud of Frank Ocean as my Black Dom Daddy.
Frank Ocean becomes the first openly Q**** Male artist to have is debut Album (CHANNEL ORANGE) be Nominated for Album Of The Year! And Second Q**** Person after LadyGaga!!!!! History in the Making! Good Job Frank, Show people it really does GET BETTER!
What gets better? A what is wrong with a man and woman getting married and starting a family? I starting to think men marrying women and having kids is very an evil thing,. They way being straight is being dragged in the western world.
Being straight isnt being being dragged…..
Ppl expecting homosexual is being celebrated. To not have to hide who you are because of fear. And better for women, to not have so many men f****** dudes on the side because they’re afraid come out.
Are your parents you are called Bella Donnna?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfQJ_V9K3EM
Congrats to SWV! Please don’t let Beyonce steal that shine!
*CRIES!* MY BABY NICKI!!!!! :-((((((( (TF DID BASED ON A TRU STORY GET A NOM?!)
B****** love the highlight her shortcomings but dont even acknoledge her accomplishments. Its all good though!
NIcki has had a tough year, not success wise (cuz shes winning), but just being scrutinized, targeted, and bullied. I worried people will never see how much of an inspiring person she is because they cant see pass her persona! This snub is a little tough for me to swallow, BUT, I love her and she will always have my support! 🙂 Love ya NIcki! Congrats to all the nominees, they deserved it!
SHUT DA F*** UP! FLOP B**** NICKI! BUHAHAHAHA
Targeted? Bullied?
All of the abuse Nicki suffered this year was brought upon by herself. if she kept her mouth shut, nobody would say anything.
Thats a lie! No matter WHAT Nicki does she’s targeted and mocked. When she’s sincere, shes called a fake b****. When she’s cocky, she called a fake b****. When she puts out a pop record, shes called a sell out. When she puts out a rap record, shes called a talentless h**. SHe doesnt have to say anything and people throw shots. BUT if she defends herself she’s called a psycho b****! SOOOOOO like the F*** I WAS SAYING….
WE LOVE YOU NICK! NEXT YEAR IS YOUR YEAR…I CAN FEEL IT! 🙂
Sorry Diamond, I love you on X Factor USA but ONLY Rihanna can do this song justice and ONLY Rihanna can turn this into a hit (unless Sia features Flo Rida in a David Guetta dance version of it)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gm1hfaDxmbk&feature=g-u-u
I love Diamond and she is one of my favs but I just noticed something. NOBODY CAN SING A RIHANNA SONG. Only Rihanna can sing her songs. I’ve heard so many other covers of this song and it’s not as good as the original. If they would have given this song to someone else it would not be huge.
I feel bad for nicki. They grammys have always been snobs anyways. Jazmine Sullivan was nominated but never won. But congrats to the other nominees even the ones I don’t like….
http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=313449&page=10
Rihanna’s monthly-updated numbers have become a huge joke.
Seek help hun its not that serious..
Nas Nominated 4 Times. Yesss Nas! I Hope He Wins All Of Them. And Finally The Grammys Isn’t Kissing Beyonce And Rihanna’s Ass!
They’ve never kissed Rihanna’s ass!
Go LOVE ON TOP! My fav from 4, hope it wins.
THE MUSIC. IS. DEAD.
➡
Nas better win best rap album.
They are giving Channel Orange too much, i hope miguel and frank both win a couple though.
I dont see Siliconika anywhere, serves her right for that dreadful performance last year!
“Frank Ocean, Kanye West, and Jay Z are among the males dominating this year’s nominations (with 6 each) while pop tart pals Katy Perry & Rihanna nabbed multiple mentions as well.”
—————————————-
What about the new best thing in R&B aka MIGUEL,TGJ??????????? GOH!
He got 5 or 6 nominations as well, including SONG OF THE YEAR!
I’m so happy, everybody I rooted for got a nom and has at least one grammy on lock: MIGUELITO, QUEEN BEY and KANYE!
Life’s good!
#BEY17: WHO MAD THOUGH? *throws cookie*
I hate the nominations… most of them are just nonesense but still CONGRATULATIONS TO KELLY CLARKSON AND RIHANNA !!!
How cool for Estelle liking that for her!!!
Really hope Nas gets a grammy
Glad for Tyrese as i really like his album
Kelly Clarkson & Pink im pleased
Miguel & Frank O did excellent albums so deserve the recognition.
The Throne was a BEAST pairing so that was a given that they would have some noms.
Ohhh of course shout out to one of my big favs Monica getting a nom featured on James Fortunes Hold On
Skipping this year’s grammys, I was also going to do the same with AMAS but they p*** me off when they invite CB to perform and like a little good puppy he attends for 1 nomination? You will never see Khanye,Jay Z, Eminem, Beyonce attend for crumbs…I dont want to watch but these execs are slick and will want him for ratings.
Beyonce and Miguel <3
People are getting upset about some of the people nominated, but record labels submit the artist and songs to be nominated and then they vote for the winner.
wow! i’m so happy for miguel!! he deserves every awards he has been nominated for! adele again! lol! beyonce deserves to win for love on top! umm that’s it
I loved his album. Wheres the fun in forever, gets played everyday on my ipod, along with the album lol
yay!! cherry wine by nas feat amy!! that’s my song!!!
i want you to stand up on your feet and give it up for the QUEEN BEYONCE
i am not apart of the BHive, but you do have a Lamb standing up for Beyonce right now.
Yesssss SWV, Tamia and Tyrese really deserved their nominations this year
amen, i fell out the chair when i saw swv!!
And the Love The Grammys are still giving Amy Winehouse is just amazing
in the words of the scissor sisters, LETS HAVE A KIKI
while these last few months showed Nikki Minaj fans go OFF on this page, calling her the Queen, bashing people, etc today has me asking the question, Where is the queens grammy nom? Not even one? (KIKI) NOw all these stans have changed those words to “she was snubbed” No Dahlings, she’s just not that good. Someone asked “how did she not get one, but beyonce got one for an album that came out in 2011?” the answer is simple, she’s a Queen in the music business. I don’t even stan for Beyonce (I like her) but my girl has always been Mariah. So when Nikki learns to be humble and actually create good music, she will always be “snubbed” at the Grammy’s. AND AS much as ya’ll want to read the Grammys, you know damn well it is the numero uno award for singers. thats all
I really think the Mariah altercation backfired. Niki Minaj is classless. She thought is was good publicity but all she did was add more fuel to the fire. People were already sick of the chipmunk voices, weird faces, and wig tactics. I’m still trying to figure out why is she a judge on American Idol.
No one has to go off, hun
12M on idol I see no Mariah nomination !
LOL
Dumb b****, Mariah’s album was released in 2009 why would it be nominated for 2013 Grammys? Delusional, desperate b**** like your fave the flop.
Congratulations to Anita Baker, Miguel, Elle Varner, Kelly Clarkson, Nas, and those who are truly deserving. The Grammys have long ago lost their credibility so at least this year they have some truly deserving.
This years list is actually well done! Its a lot of talented people who are getting there just due (Frank Ocean, Miguel, Tamia, Kelly Clarkson ect) This will be a hard year because mostly everyone on this list deserves it!!! Congrats to all the nominees! To all you Nicki Stans No disrespect but Once again people need to understand that the industry artists, song writters and execs are voting for the people on this list! Which alot of these people are BIG supporters of LEGENDS AND ICONS!! HINT HINT Mariah Carey and Steven Tyler! Now the fact that her music is really garbage is part of the reason but SHE WILL NOT GET ANY NOMINATIONS until she humbles herself! Her disrespectful attitude is going to hold her back! Its funny to me because no matter how you stans support her and trash people like Mariah, Kim and other legends in the game she wont get a Grammy she might be getting her money but she will always be considered a problem child!!!!!!!! All those other little awards don’t matter on your resume! The Grammies is the only award in music that matters!
But when they dont win y’all will be upset
LOL
the grammys aren’t about talent, they’re about who was the most successful in their category that yr !
Tamia won’t win ! Though she is the most talented ! FACTS !
When who dont win?? Frank Ocean is gonna get a grammy and so will Miguel! These are 2 very strong strong writters and they both penned the own music and have had several hits! Tamia might not win but its good to see she still got it!!!
This post is confusing me !!
So Nicki’s producer gets semi-nominated but through best production
but no solo-nominations & ppl STILL saying music is dead, etc.
how is music dead isn’t this what y’all FLOPS wanted ?
No-name ppl who dont get recognition usually, outshining other, more famous ppl?
TGJ is never satisfied ! SMH !
1. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”- WHY?
2. “Call Me Maybe”- WHY?
3. “Sorry For Party Rocking”- WHY?
Just, WHY! That’s ^^^ the bad.
The good: Miguel, Frank, Nas, Bey, Rihanna, ANITA BAKER, Sade, The Robert Glasper Experiment, Tamia, Jay-Z, Kanye, Ledsi, Anthony Hamilton, The Roots.
I’m LOVING these nominations!!!!
OMG CALL THE COPS YALL!!!!!
NICKI MINAJ IS MISSING!!!!!!!
OH…..WHATS THAT, SHE AINT MISSIN, JUS NO ONE WAS CHECKING FOR HER? OOOOOK
CONGRATS TO;
KELLY CLARKSON
KATY PERRY
ALABAMA SHAKES
FUN. + MONAE
CARLY RAE JEPSEN
JACK WHITE
She not missing from this post
cuz y’all still concentrated on the QUEEN !
lol
#LIVID !
hello FAF, where have you been?
im doin nicki a favor by mentioning her, gotta throw a dog a bone once in a while.
I hope Tyrese win Best R&B album! He deserves it.
ALSO
HOW CAN I FORGET ELLE VARNER, SHE DEF DESERVED MORE BUT CONGRATS LOVE!!!!!
I am loving this list of nominations, much better than previous years. Congrats esp to Miguel & Nas
The only categories I care about and wanted to comment on are:
Best R&B Performance: This will be between Miguel & Usher and they’ll probably give it to Usher Hon Mention – Estelle: love the lyrics and her but she hasn’t got a snowballs’ chance
Best Traditional R&B Performance: This should be between Melanie Fiona (CONGRATS on the nom) & Anita Baker but they’ll probably going to give this to Bee
Best R&B Song: I’m rooting for Elle (CONGRATS on the noms) but I think Miguel will win this one
Best Urban Contemporary Album: Rooting for Miguel but I think Frank Ocean will win (I will throw shoes @ the tv if CB wins)
Best R&B Album: all great (except Tyrese) so I’d be happy with whoever wins although I seriously doubt Kells will
Best Rap Performance: Nas should win but they’ll probably give it to Jay & Kanye
Best Rap/Sung Collaboration: I only listen to & like Nas/Amy Winehouse (RIP) & Rhi/Jay but don’t care who wins
Best Rap Song: Daughters, hands down but again they’ll probably give it to Jay (although I pray that no one with sense would give any award to a song with the ‘n’ word in the title)
Best Rap Album: Nas or The Roots (Drake’s put me to sleep each time I tried to listen to it)
Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance: Tamela Mann or Mary Mary
Best Gospel Song: Hold On
Best Gospel Album: all great nominees but I’m rooting for Identity or Jesus At the Center Live
Why not tyrese?
He reveals his stupidity, arrogance & hatred of Black women on Twitter often enough for me to put him, his movies & his music on the ‘PAY NO MIND’ frequency.
I honestly think this is one of the BEST lists they have HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! excluding Carly Rae Jepsen and a few others but COngrats to Miguel (REAL TALENTED AND INVENTIVE ARTIST), Elle VArner Nas, Tamia, SWV and my girl Monica,, OMg so happy she along with FRed Hammond, and James Fortune got nominated… Thats a real Inspiring gospel song!
PSA !!!!!!!!!!!!! http://makeupforlife.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/mac-viva-glam-nicki-2-collection.jpg
2013 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is a mess, hahaha. I am rooting 4 miguel tho-BOY IS TALENTED!!! I love me sum Frank Ocean album, BUT IDK, this whole gay thing is being blown up 2 much & I AM GAY, i support ALL, but MIGUEL SLAYS!!!!!!!! I am kinda mad nicki didnt get NOT 1, WTF? but it happend to India Arie & Jill Scott too, so I guess thats just how it is….it took even Mary like 4 albums to get a grammy so, no love lost, keep pushing boo!!!!!! that call me maybe girl tho-really?!?!?! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I´m really surprised that the single from Miguel is nominated for SONG of Year!!! Congrats, he won´t win but congrats
I don´t see how that Kelly Clarkson song “Stronger” can be nominated for record and song of the year?? It´s a good pop song if you want but really, not the type of song that should be nominated for a grammy-main category
I hope Miguel and Florence win something, they deserve it. Both albums are so great
And who the hell really thought Justin Beiber was going to be nominated?? Grammys get it wrong sometimes, but not that much 🙂
I´m ok with Frank Ocean having many nominations. But he may not win. With the grammys you never know
Overall, not bad, but I really think 2012 has been such a bad year for music in general, grammys didn´t have that many options, in fact I think that is the reason they let an R&B song get a song of the year nomination, very rare lately (not that Miguel doesn´t deserve it but u know what I mean)
Why is that horrendous girl Carly or whatever her name is nominated for best vocal performance? With Adele for example? One of those jokes you´ll always have even at the grammys
And where is Rihanna nominated? I didn´t even see it! 🙂 LOL at her crazy stans again acting as if she were doing it big at the grammys or something. She has another whole album and she got 2 or 3 minor nominations at the peak of her career? Girl bye. Congrats if you want but nothing to scream about. These kids…
Rihanna nominations:
1. Where Have You Been Best Pop Vocal
Rihanna
Track from: Talk That Talk
2.Talk That Talk Best Rap/Sung
Rihanna Featuring Jay-Z
Track from: Talk That Talk
[Def Jam]
3.We Found Love Best Short Form Video
Rihanna Featuring Calvin Harris
Melina Matsoukas, video director; Juliette Larthe & Ben Sullivan, video producers
Thank U! The list was too long to care about her 🙂
The fact that you were concerned about Rih tho lol….smh
I was not concerned. I just read too many crazy people talking about her and I tried to tell tham the truth 🙂
This just seem like a lot of rigged and fake bullsh**. Some of thiese noms are to be expected. Jayz, Kanye, Beyonce……
There were alotta surprises, shockers, and well deserveds. Congrats to queen bey,jay-z and kanye, 2 chainz, kelly clarkson, chris brown, katy perry and usher. And last but not least so surprised and happy for nas, melanie fiona, tamia, elle varner, miguel, swv, and frank ocean bcuz they are all deserving and for not being overlooked. Congrats to the grammy noms board for getting a lot right this year.
I’m here for Miguel, Nas and the biggest shock of them all Ed MUTHAFUCKING Sheeran!
