Rihanna has been nominated from an album y’all said was wack. LOL Billboard and Sony must feel so stupid, In april, they HOSTED A GALA intoducing RITA WHORA AS THE NEXT BIG THING IN MUSIC. One guest said she was the new beyonce.

SO, where is her grammy nod for best new artist? Where is her grammy nod? After all that hype of being the next best thing who will snatch wigs – SHE IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. GUESS HER P**** AND HEAD GAME IS WACK. Not to mention she has not talent.

    • CBE December 6, 2012

Count me on the “Not tuning in list”

I think they focused on singles more the albums this year hence people like Niki Minaj, JB were snubbed but Taylor atleast got noms, CB got one but yeah its a snooze fest alright! unless they trick us by letting our faves perform.

omg WTF HOW CANT NICKI BE NOMINATED FOR ANYTHING YET BEYONCE IS STILL GETTING NOMINATED FOR A ALBUM THAT CAME OUT IN 2011 WTFAWWWWWWWK!!!! IM F****** PISSSED

      • EJ December 6, 2012

That’s what I’m saying…how the f*** is Beyonce nominated for s*** and she ain’t even put nothing out…it’s really a shame. Then they nominate Nicki for absolutely nothing when she had some of the best songs of this year, and one of the best selling albums of the year. It’s really a shame, especially when they nominate Frank Ocean for publicity. smdh. Like, what has he done this year? Nicki should have at least got nominated for best rap album or best rap song. This Grammy’s is trippin’ and I WON’T be watching.

      • Flop Cheeta Whora gave Rob an S** from her 20 guys December 6, 2012

Nicki is still super rich and the most famous, best selling female rapper EVER. Haters can never take that away. Madonna did not get her fist grammy till 1998. Like they ignored VOGUE?

    • EJ December 6, 2012

Anyway, she won a VMA, 2 AMAs, and a BET Award, so this gonna be a show she just gonna have to sit out I guess….and all the people who got nominated for Album of the Year, I never f****** heard of before…like WTF? I’m pressed…#spacebar.

      • Common Sense December 6, 2012

Of course you’ve never heard of them before; you listen to garbage like Nicki Minaj.

    • Monstarebel (WARRIOR) December 6, 2012

@EJ EXACTLY IM PISSED STARSHIPS WAS ON OF THE BEST SELLING SINGLES OF THIS YEAR SHE SOLD MORE ALBUMS THAN ANY RAPPER THIS YEAR SMFH…….

      • Common Sense December 6, 2012

        Sales =/= quality.

      • DeezNuts December 6, 2012

So “Based on a TRU story” was a quality Rap album?

“all I want for my birthday is a big booty h**?” I mean, I’m not one to put others down but, in my opinion PFRR is of far better quality.

    • Whaaaat? December 6, 2012

@ MONSTAREBEL (WARRIOR), It looks like u should have read the list because Nicki isn’t nominated for anything stupid! lol. Im starting to think that you’re a robot. Sam need to start spam checking before allowing comments. SMH!

  7. danny b December 5, 2012

YASSSSS Frank Ocean & Kelly Clarkson for those nods!!!! And also Miguel!

  9. Monstarebel (WARRIOR) December 5, 2012

& Frank ocean really wassup with all these nominations?? did his album even go plastic yet?

    • SG3 December 6, 2012

The grammy’s are not about sales; it’s said to be about quality of work. Billboard and AMA’s lean more toward sales, spins, popularity.

  10. danny b December 5, 2012

Real question, no shade no tea: was We Found Love up for awards last year? I cant remember.

    • Yea i said it December 5, 2012

I sure do hope Rihanna is performing. Her performing “What now” at the Grammy’s would slay my life.

    • Monstarebel (WARRIOR) December 5, 2012

OMG IF SHE PERFORMS WHAT NOW AT THE F****** GRAMMYS THAT WOULD BE EPIC, LEGENDARY,PHENOMENAL, ICONIC OMG

      • Mrs Robyn Brown (Beyonce’s Weave) December 5, 2012

I know, just thinking about it is driving me crazy.

      • oh baby (b****** will Deal) December 6, 2012

I also really enjoyed that AMA performance. She brought it.

    • oh baby (b****** will Deal) December 6, 2012

Not a fan, actually I’m not a “believer”of r****’s art, but with diamonds and what now and half of me she outdid herself. I f****** love those songs, especially what now. S*** even love without tragedy/mother marry. Unflopogetic has it’s winners too 😉 if she were to perform any song I mentioned and deliver vocally like she sometimes does, I’ll be slayed for life.

    • zzzzzb December 6, 2012

      She killed this performance!

  23. Eric December 5, 2012

Awards shows tend to favor the idea of long-term viability over the quality of the work they reward. I’m over it.

  24. CHUDDS December 5, 2012

Ms Frank is severely overrated. I can’t take. But Congrats to Miguel he deserves it! Plus that hair staaays laid honey!

    • Flop Cheeta Whora gave Rob an S** from her 20 guys December 5, 2012

It is only the gay thing. He has not talent so he needs to flaunt d***. He is at it again with this french model. He will fade out next year. He has not even gon gold in the USA.

      • Common Sense December 6, 2012

LOL at clueless idiots that don’t even have the slightest clue at what real music is judging it by sales numbers. The reason Frank Ocean has all those noms is because his music has at least SOME artistic integrity something garbage like Minaj/Rihanna will never have.

    • zzzzzb December 6, 2012

Don’t really care for Frank Ocean but I love Miguel.

      • FAF December 6, 2012

Frank’s not overrated he’s nervous during his performances b/c he’s used to working behind the scenes
he doesn’t promote, have paparazzi, etc.
so how can he be overrated?

    • LittleJohnny December 6, 2012

I was scared to say this because it seems everyone is on his side since he announced his bisexuality but Lord knows people have been totally overrating this dude. I wish him much success but he is average talent.

  25. Yea i said it December 5, 2012

    sorry i mean 13 solo!

  26. NAVI December 5, 2012

MIGUEL>>>>>> I’m so glad he finally got some recognition..his album is no doubt one of the best releases this year, congrats!! Oh yeah Riri and everyone else who got nomi.

  27. Flop Cheeta Whora gave Rob an S** from her 20 guys December 5, 2012

The navy are having a great week. While RITA CHEETER WORA SLORA gets PUBLICLY dragged for being a w****,as well as flopping. Rih has scored 3 grammy nods; she has a new TV SHOW COMING TO THE USA; SHE KILLED THE VICKY SECRets fashion show to an audience of nearly 10 million.; she has her first number 1 USA LP , WITH HER BEST SALES; SHE has the global number 1 LP AND SINGLE; SHE HAS THE 12 number 1 breaking records; covers of mens and fashion mags; she has her man back in her life; she directed her first ever fashion shoot.

WHEN WILL YO FAVE? KEEP WHORES PRESSED SINCE 2005

    • NAVI December 5, 2012

      which TV SHOW¸??

      • Flop Cheeta Whora gave Rob an S** from her 20 guys December 5, 2012

GOOD news. They kept making fun of Style to rock getting low ratings in the UK. But, there is so much power in her name…….Style network, owned by E! have picked it up and are going re make the show for us, THE AMERICANS. She lives in teh USA, so she will be in it more. THIS ONE WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN THE UK VERSION. Which she filmed in 5 days.

  28. King B>Rihanna December 5, 2012

I guess I will come out as being bi-sexual(never said i was gay so the LGBTQ need to drop it), write a long ass letter, make a mediocre album although some songs were really good and then i can win grammys.I like Frank and think he is talented but he is overrated, his sexuality sells not his music(ask some of his fans to name 7 sngs off of Channel Orange and his first mixtape and they cant) and she would just be a song-writer because that is his strength not being an artist.

    • HEY F** December 5, 2012

      KING B <RIHANNA

      • King B>Rihanna December 6, 2012

Well i have my opinion and you have yours

    • Flop Cheeta Whora gave Rob an S** from her 20 guys December 5, 2012

HE cannot live on the gay thing forever. Miguel has him beat in looks, voice and talent. Plus, he is loves women and is normal guy doing his thing. His parents will be very proud of how he turned out. He does not need to suck c*** for fame. Miguel will make a lovely daddy and husbands. e f**** bad b******.

      • Common Sense December 6, 2012

ummm frank ocean music is great the grammys is showing this year that sales dont really matter and the quality of your work matters which for the last 2 or 3 years theyve been giving them to ppl who actually sold alot im proud of frank ocean and who cares if he came out it it worked for him because his music is actually good!!!

  29. Flop Cheeta Whora gave Rob an S** from her 20 guys December 5, 2012

GREAT nominations – Frank, Miguel, Beyonce, Rihanna, NAS, Jay-Z, Anita Baker, Kanye, The Robert Glasper Experiment (brilliant album), Ledisi, Anthony Hamilton….I’m very happy! 🙂

I have so many favorites in each category that I don’t really care who wins.

I just want to see NAS, Frank, and Miguel get some wins!

Bey or Anita would be awesome.

M.I.A. or Rihanna would be great.

  38. LTM December 6, 2012

  44. Lana Del Slay December 6, 2012

    • Common Sense December 6, 2012

Yasssssss slayonce, I really wasn’t expecting you to get any more nods from 4! I’m so ecstatic for you. Well deserved, should we get the champagne out for celebrating your 17th Grammy? I think so, but Melanie Fiona is also nominated and I’m kinda worried. But good luck motha. But I’m sooo happy Miguel is nominated! I f****** love his album, Frank ocean too, but we all saw this one coming so meh.but good luck nonetheless and forest gump is still my fav from that album! Congrats everybody else. • Bey Fan December 6, 2012

Being straight isnt being being dragged…..

B****** love the highlight her shortcomings but dont even acknoledge her accomplishments. Its all good though!

NIcki has had a tough year, not success wise (cuz shes winning), but just being scrutinized, targeted, and bullied. I worried people will never see how much of an inspiring person she is because they cant see pass her persona! This snub is a little tough for me to swallow, BUT, I love her and she will always have my support! 🙂 Love ya NIcki! Congrats to all the nominees, they deserved it!

Thats a lie! No matter WHAT Nicki does she’s targeted and mocked. When she’s sincere, shes called a fake b****. When she’s cocky, she called a fake b****. When she puts out a pop record, shes called a sell out. When she puts out a rap record, shes called a talentless h**. SHe doesnt have to say anything and people throw shots. BUT if she defends herself she’s called a psycho b****! SOOOOOO like the F*** I WAS SAYING….

WE LOVE YOU NICK! NEXT YEAR IS YOUR YEAR…I CAN FEEL IT! 🙂

  52. Mrs Robyn Brown (Beyonce’s Weave) December 6, 2012

    • zzzzzb December 6, 2012

I love Diamond and she is one of my favs but I just noticed something. NOBODY CAN SING A RIHANNA SONG. Only Rihanna can sing her songs. I’ve heard so many other covers of this song and it’s not as good as the original. If they would have given this song to someone else it would not be huge.

  53. NFG (no f**** given) December 6, 2012

  67. Bad Bytch December 6, 2012

  68. Nick December 6, 2012

And the Love The Grammys are still giving Amy Winehouse is just amazing

  69. Just Sayin December 6, 2012

in the words of the scissor sisters, LETS HAVE A KIKI
while these last few months showed Nikki Minaj fans go OFF on this page, calling her the Queen, bashing people, etc today has me asking the question, Where is the queens grammy nom? Not even one? (KIKI) NOw all these stans have changed those words to “she was snubbed” No Dahlings, she’s just not that good. Someone asked “how did she not get one, but beyonce got one for an album that came out in 2011?” the answer is simple, she’s a Queen in the music business. I don’t even stan for Beyonce (I like her) but my girl has always been Mariah. So when Nikki learns to be humble and actually create good music, she will always be “snubbed” at the Grammy’s. AND AS much as ya’ll want to read the Grammys, you know damn well it is the numero uno award for singers. thats all

    • zzzzzb December 6, 2012

I really think the Mariah altercation backfired. Niki Minaj is classless. She thought is was good publicity but all she did was add more fuel to the fire. People were already sick of the chipmunk voices, weird faces, and wig tactics. I’m still trying to figure out why is she a judge on American Idol.

      • FAF December 6, 2012

No one has to go off, hun

12M on idol I see no Mariah nomination !

        LOL

      • MC December 6, 2012

Dumb b****, Mariah’s album was released in 2009 why would it be nominated for 2013 Grammys? Delusional, desperate b**** like your fave the flop.

  70. MC December 6, 2012

Congratulations to Anita Baker, Miguel, Elle Varner, Kelly Clarkson, Nas, and those who are truly deserving. The Grammys have long ago lost their credibility so at least this year they have some truly deserving.

  71. MRB December 6, 2012

This years list is actually well done! Its a lot of talented people who are getting there just due (Frank Ocean, Miguel, Tamia, Kelly Clarkson ect) This will be a hard year because mostly everyone on this list deserves it!!! Congrats to all the nominees! To all you Nicki Stans No disrespect but Once again people need to understand that the industry artists, song writters and execs are voting for the people on this list! Which alot of these people are BIG supporters of LEGENDS AND ICONS!! HINT HINT Mariah Carey and Steven Tyler! Now the fact that her music is really garbage is part of the reason but SHE WILL NOT GET ANY NOMINATIONS until she humbles herself! Her disrespectful attitude is going to hold her back! Its funny to me because no matter how you stans support her and trash people like Mariah, Kim and other legends in the game she wont get a Grammy she might be getting her money but she will always be considered a problem child!!!!!!!! All those other little awards don’t matter on your resume! The Grammies is the only award in music that matters!

    • FAF December 6, 2012

But when they dont win y’all will be upset

      LOL

the grammys aren’t about talent, they’re about who was the most successful in their category that yr !

Tamia won’t win ! Though she is the most talented ! FACTS !

      • MRB December 6, 2012

When who dont win?? Frank Ocean is gonna get a grammy and so will Miguel! These are 2 very strong strong writters and they both penned the own music and have had several hits! Tamia might not win but its good to see she still got it!!!

  72. FAF December 6, 2012

This post is confusing me !!

So Nicki’s producer gets semi-nominated but through best production

but no solo-nominations & ppl STILL saying music is dead, etc.

how is music dead isn’t this what y’all FLOPS wanted ?

No-name ppl who dont get recognition usually, outshining other, more famous ppl?

TGJ is never satisfied ! SMH !

  73. Mary Mary Why You Buggin’ December 6, 2012

    1. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”- WHY?
    2. “Call Me Maybe”- WHY?
    3. “Sorry For Party Rocking”- WHY?

Just, WHY! That’s ^^^ the bad.

The good: Miguel, Frank, Nas, Bey, Rihanna, ANITA BAKER, Sade, The Robert Glasper Experiment, Tamia, Jay-Z, Kanye, Ledsi, Anthony Hamilton, The Roots.

    I’m LOVING these nominations!!!!

I am loving this list of nominations, much better than previous years. Congrats esp to Miguel & Nas

  78. Mely B December 6, 2012

The only categories I care about and wanted to comment on are:

Best R&B Performance: This will be between Miguel & Usher and they’ll probably give it to Usher Hon Mention – Estelle: love the lyrics and her but she hasn’t got a snowballs’ chance

Best Traditional R&B Performance: This should be between Melanie Fiona (CONGRATS on the nom) & Anita Baker but they’ll probably going to give this to Bee

Best R&B Song: I’m rooting for Elle (CONGRATS on the noms) but I think Miguel will win this one

Best Urban Contemporary Album: Rooting for Miguel but I think Frank Ocean will win (I will throw shoes @ the tv if CB wins)

Best R&B Album: all great (except Tyrese) so I’d be happy with whoever wins although I seriously doubt Kells will

Best Rap Performance: Nas should win but they’ll probably give it to Jay & Kanye

Best Rap/Sung Collaboration: I only listen to & like Nas/Amy Winehouse (RIP) & Rhi/Jay but don’t care who wins

Best Rap Song: Daughters, hands down but again they’ll probably give it to Jay (although I pray that no one with sense would give any award to a song with the ‘n’ word in the title)

Best Rap Album: Nas or The Roots (Drake’s put me to sleep each time I tried to listen to it)

Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance: Tamela Mann or Mary Mary

    Best Gospel Song: Hold On

Best Gospel Album: all great nominees but I’m rooting for Identity or Jesus At the Center Live

    • IDK December 6, 2012

      Why not tyrese?

      • Mely B December 6, 2012

He reveals his stupidity, arrogance & hatred of Black women on Twitter often enough for me to put him, his movies & his music on the ‘PAY NO MIND’ frequency.

  79. PEACE December 6, 2012

I honestly think this is one of the BEST lists they have HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! excluding Carly Rae Jepsen and a few others but COngrats to Miguel (REAL TALENTED AND INVENTIVE ARTIST), Elle VArner Nas, Tamia, SWV and my girl Monica,, OMg so happy she along with FRed Hammond, and James Fortune got nominated… Thats a real Inspiring gospel song!

  82. JOHNVIDAL December 6, 2012

I´m really surprised that the single from Miguel is nominated for SONG of Year!!! Congrats, he won´t win but congrats
I don´t see how that Kelly Clarkson song “Stronger” can be nominated for record and song of the year?? It´s a good pop song if you want but really, not the type of song that should be nominated for a grammy-main category
I hope Miguel and Florence win something, they deserve it. Both albums are so great
And who the hell really thought Justin Beiber was going to be nominated?? Grammys get it wrong sometimes, but not that much 🙂
I´m ok with Frank Ocean having many nominations. But he may not win. With the grammys you never know
Overall, not bad, but I really think 2012 has been such a bad year for music in general, grammys didn´t have that many options, in fact I think that is the reason they let an R&B song get a song of the year nomination, very rare lately (not that Miguel doesn´t deserve it but u know what I mean)
Why is that horrendous girl Carly or whatever her name is nominated for best vocal performance? With Adele for example? One of those jokes you´ll always have even at the grammys

And where is Rihanna nominated? I didn´t even see it! 🙂 LOL at her crazy stans again acting as if she were doing it big at the grammys or something. She has another whole album and she got 2 or 3 minor nominations at the peak of her career? Girl bye. Congrats if you want but nothing to scream about. These kids…

    • BitchICan’tEvenSpellWelfare December 6, 2012

      Track from: Talk That Talk

3.We Found Love Best Short Form Video
      Rihanna Featuring Calvin Harris
Melina Matsoukas, video director; Juliette Larthe & Ben Sullivan, video producers

      • JOHNVIDAL December 6, 2012

Thank U! The list was too long to care about her 🙂

    • Teacher December 6, 2012

The fact that you were concerned about Rih tho lol….smh

      • JOHNVIDAL December 7, 2012
