That Rihanna reign just won’t let up!
It seems music lovers just can’t get enough of ‘Unapologetic‘ star Rihanna and ‘Marry You‘ maestro Bruno Mars, both of whom continue their reign on Billboard’s Hot 100 for another week with their respective releases.

Despite being released in September, Rihanna‘s ‘Diamonds‘ sits pretty at #2 this week- while perched at #1 on the R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart, for the twelfth week.
Meanwhile, Mars holds court at #1 with ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’, while Taylor Swift ranks two spots below Riri with the killer cut ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’.
One spot beneath the Pop/Country belle comes ‘Beauty & Beat’ by Justin Bieber and Rap mogul Nicki Minaj- whose latest LP ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded‘ edges closer to global sales of 1.4 million units moved since April 3rd.

Anyway, the true news are Bruno Mars is still #1, but of course they need to make the post about Rihanna so her delusional fans can beleive once again they are the best and write 100 comment each lol
Also, I still can´t believe they did that to R&B charts, all those pop songs will be the #1 on that list from now on, it doesn´t make sense
Also, how can such a bland artist like Taylor Swift have those sales in the uSA? For 3 albums? For one album… it would be: ok you know one of those things from time to time. But for 3 albums doesn´t make sense. She and her music sound just like any other bland young girl/boy/band who are in their teens and would not last. So I don´t know why people are feeling like she is not different from that? Someone explain. And the “she is a songwriter” thing is not valid. *shrugs* I think Taylor is just one of those “of the moment” artists who have huge sales in the beginning for no apparent rhyme or reason, but over time, their sales eventually dip and someone new comes along and is a huge seller, and the cycle begins again.
I don’t think Taylor will see a huge decline in her sales until maybe her 6th or 7th album. Her 5th might not hit 1 million the first week, but it’ll probably do in the 500-700k range, maybe 800k, but I doubt it.

So since she doesn’t sell has much albums as Adele, she cannot be considered as an “huge album seller” ? Aside from ’21′, which album has surpass ‘The Fame’ sells during the piracy era ? No one.
‘The Fame (Monster)’ is the best selling album of 2010. ‘Born This Way’ the 2nd best selling album of 2011 (and now has sold 7M copies in one year).
With 2 albums and half she almost equals Rih and Beyoncé’s albums sells.
She really is.

No one has experience this type of success like that other than those two ladies that I compared Adele to. You’ll see that even Adele will never match 21′s sales again. And with sales of 13-15 million of TF+TFM and 6-7 million of BTW I’m sure it solidifies Gaga as an album seller. We’ll see with this era. The reason why Rihanna is called a single seller is because she sold 27 million album ww and 62+ million singles………

I usually do like your comments, but this one is an exception.
Taylor Swift shares her history with her fans, as for ADELE, though her music. Her sincere history. You can feel it when she’s on stage and she interacts with her public.
I wasn’t really “IN” Taylor Swift before ‘RED’, but i’ve discovered her discography, and i’m quite impressed actually. And ‘RED’ isn’t even her best album imo, but ‘Speak Now’.
She’s not a very talented vocalist, but the interest in her is not about the vocals, but more about what she sings about. Therefore she’s an artist, and she totally deserves her amazing success.
