This Christmas, Alexandra Burke lends her gift to families with loved ones serving in the armed forces- by way of the R&B stunner, ‘Christmas Time’.
Part of her holiday themed ‘Christmas Gift’, the romantic number precedes the release of the singer’s third studio album- reportedly set for a 2013 release.
However, until then, unwind to her moving tribute below…
Stellar.
Though we doubt anyone needed reminding, ‘Time’s arrangement is the perfect commercial for Burke’s range and skill- serving a ‘clean rasp’ we hope to hear more of with the release of new material.
Clearly experimenting with R&B for the first time since ‘Overcome‘, we can’t wait to hear how recent studio sessions have shaped her ideas and if these will be used as the basis for the new album.
Either way, whatever she does, ‘Time’ was one surprise well worth waiting for.

She shouldn’t worry about coming over here until she slays in her own country. She’s too talented and beautiful not to be bigger than what she is and I got a good feeling that her blacklisted days are over. I’m Muslim but this really put me in a festive mood. Thankyou.
