Teen star? What’s Taylor Swift? What is Britney Spears? What are the Jonas Brothers? LeAnn Rimes won 2 at age 14. Youngest nominee was 9. And JB himself nominated twice at 16.
Grammys are about music period. Unless you’re on the actual Grammy board, you have no idea what their criteria are for choosing nominees. I believe that Justin Beiber should have gotten nominated because he has improved drastically with vocals, dance moves, and performing. Plus, hate him or love him, he is talented. He plays the drums and the guitar! I don’t understand what all the hate is about with this young man. How is he bratty? I never hear him cuss out people who make fun of him and he continues to grow as a singer. His songs this time around were actually pretty good and better than a lot of the #1 singles that are out right now.
