It was the unexpected news many a Lil Kim fan found themselves rejoicing in last night.

Yes, in what marked the first positive news to come from the Rapper since her critically acclaimed ‘Return Of The Queen’ Tour, Kim found herself showered with ‘congratulations’ upon claiming she was the new ‘First Lady’ of the alcoholic beverage, ‘Ciroc‘.

Lil Kim Ciroc Endorsement Thrown Into Disrepute?

Upon posting the above image to her Twitter page, fans had been led to believe that she had inked a deal with the brand to launch her own ‘Queen Bee’ bottle, in the style of Nene Leakes‘ ‘Miss Moscato‘ line.

This, in what will undoubtedly rain on her parade, might explain why she is not named as an official spokeswoman for the brand on its official website, despite her fans billing her a ‘Ciroc Girl‘.

Quite interestingly, the brand did ‘re-tweet’ her ‘Queen Bee’ recipe on its official Twitter page but- in what we’d say is pretty telling- did not re-tweet the following claim:

Here’s hoping the coming days sees Ciroc validate Kim‘s claims by naming her their ‘First Lady’ on their official web page. If not, it’s safe to say her naysayers will have a field day with what is beginning to look like a gross exaggeration of what really is…a common recipe.
