Cheryl Cole turns up the heat in her new video ‘Ghetto Baby’, unveiled this morning by ‘Hunger TV‘ this morning.
In support of the Lana Del Rey penned jam, the video- though not the ‘event’ we were hoping for- does make for an interesting watch but is unfortunately…a little forgettable.
Unfortunate, considering the song and its supporting album could have benefited from a grander video.

Sure, though the clip isn’t horrible, it does stress Cheryl’s need for an in house Creative, tasked with making the most out songs that really deserve better. For in keeping it real, Ms. Cole’s released L’Oreal commercials better than this, when her status as the UK’s leading Pop Princess should see her churning out videos worthy of her budget and deserved popularity.

What an extremely poorly crafted video. Hence the fact that the lyrics to the song are resoundingly underwritten, this video just makes Cheryl look like an artist that has just released their debut single with a visual that has a $10 budget. The album itself has so much more potential. Fans would be more appreciative if ‘Sexy Den A Mutha’ or ‘Girl In The Mirror’ had single treatment.
Disappointing.

The problem apart from the song being rubbish is it sounds like a Lana Del Ray song to the point that she sounds like she’s doing a cover… badly!
Cheryl brought nothing new to the demo of this song apart from flat emotionless vocals.
The video is clearly just to show off her man, but it also shows the fact that she is a sup par dancer with lots of camera shots giving okay visuals.
Please Ms Burke come and snatch of this Loreal endorsed wig with songs, vocals and real executed dance moves…… Please.

I think the video is great . She excuted the video well. Tre and cheryl is perfect match for one another. I dont think she should be compare to beyonce because they are different individual. Lana Del Rey did a horrible job writing or help writing this track. I’m still trying to figure out why the hell she is praised by so many with her boring ass. Cheryl is so beautiful and has a nice figure, but her music sucks ass. WTF is a ghetto baby? LMFAO!
