‘Grenade’ divo Bruno Mars has certainly blown up to out of this world success since his 2010 debut ‘Doo Wops & Hooligans’. Fast forward two years later, the singer has notched 10 top 10 singles to his credit and, if UK’s ‘Notion’ magazine is to be believed, is the ‘new King of Pop’.
While such notion is sure to garner its fair share of chatter, there’s no denying the kid is talented. And, with his sophomore album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ gearing up for its December 11th release, Mars shows off that talent in a new behind the scenes video of the making of that album.

I am really excited for this album because Bruno is a really talented artist. I really love his first album and I can already that this album will be just as great if not better. SAM! You ought to be ashamed of yourself with that poll question! Like why would you even ask that? Of course he isn’t! That title still (and will always) belong to MJ just like Madonna will remain the Queen. The bullshit is thick on this site. smh

The article in which he lifted the story I believe called him the new king of pop or some BS like that! King, hell he’s not even the Prince, though I do love his music!

There’s always a “new” king of Pop. Usher, JT had their shine at it, but like them, he will never replace THE King of Pop. Funny, I don’t see anyone calling someone else the new king of rock, or the new queen of soul. Stop it, there no higher rank then the King and Queen. But with that said, Bruno will become an icon like the greats.

LOL I love me some Bruno Mars but that is ridiculous to even attempt to label his kid the KING OF POP ased on what a few top 10 chart songs? The KING OF POP had a career that spanned 4 DECADES call me when either Bruno Mars or Justin Bieber does that….okay?

I can agree with this. His new album is Amazing. No one comes close to matching MJ’s vocals than Bruno Mars. Although there is only one King of Pop. The King of Pop for 2012/2013 will be Bruno Mars. Sorry hear his album and then judge.

No one will ever replace MJ, he was the whole package not a little bit of this and a little bit of that and that goes for that Bieber kid as well. The kid needs some singing lesson and would benefit a lot from a Yoga class so he wouldn’t be so stiff.

To be the King of Pop you have to sell millions records around the world. Which Bruno never did. And all the race people love you. Which is not. Cause a lot of black people don’t know him. And really they need to be shot for that shit. Bruno is a whack dumb ass to me… Singing in his draws with people wearing monkeys face. Way they do that at.

People don´t get it on poor Bruno Mars. It´s these magazines always making retarded headlines
Bruno is awesome and uber talented. Probably the best male in commercial music right now. Can´t wit for his new album and for seeing him at the top of both Hot 100 and Billboard 200 in 1 or 2 weeks

I honestly hate these headlines with a passion, because people tend to insult the artist instead of the magazine. There is only one Michael Jackson, period. That means no none can fill that mans shoes. Bruno is an amazing talent and imo he could easily be a legendary artist in the future, but in his own right. Why are these magazines always coming for Mike’s thrown? They wouldn’t dare call somebody the new Elvis or even Barbara Streisand tho.
