^To me (and many others) they have both had huge impact on pop culture for different for different reasons they are from the same generation and have both achieved different things that go way past just sales. And as for Kelly Clarkson. She will not go down as one of the greatest to ever do it sorry. I saw you trying to compare her to Mariah ‘Legendary’ Carey the other day. Things like that are just NO. Many people dont even know who she is. Lets be real. Compare her to other idols like JHud or something, not these legends (and potential legends) like Mariah Carey and Beyonce. I do not stan for either btw, Im just stating the obvious.

It’s a difficult question, as Taylor now has moved on to singing pop songs, which gives her the edge on impact outside of america.
Carrie does have the best selling album with her debut though, and is now a member of the Grand Ole Opry, which is one of country music’s crowning achievements.
I’m a big fan of both, but if I had the chance to see one live, I’d go for Taylor all the time. Carrie’s voice is way better, but I’d think I’d enjoy myself more watching Taylor.

Both of them are pretty cool, I don’t know. To be honest, I know more songs from Taylor Swift and she sells country music pretty well not just in the USA, but in Australia and New Zealand too. Now she does in worldwide as well. But I prefer Carrie’s voice.
