After being enlisted to help Will.I.am‘s ‘Scream & Shout‘ push noteworthy digits, the ‘The Hook Up’ singer has taken the cut to top of British charts- after a steady reign on the nation’s R&B tally.

Outselling Rihanna‘s ‘Diamonds’, Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Va Va Voom‘ , ‘Scream’ hit #1 last night after five weeks on the chart- selling more units than Taylor Swift‘s monster smash, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble‘, which resides at #2.
Marking her 6th #1 in the nation, the song’s meteoric rise to the top precedes the release of her 8th studio album which fans can reportedly expect this year, serving as the follow up to 2011′s ‘Femme Fatale‘.

labels over blowing album numbers is not just my theory. several sources make the claim. how does that hold up the claim britney sold 100 million? it depends on the size of the lie. it’s a bunch of pr bs for public consumption and no knows the real numbers.
btw, britney’s overall sales have grown from 75 million to 100 million while christina’s shriveled from 50 million to 30 million.

don’t be gullible! suddenly britney’s first album jumped from 25 million to 30 and her next one went from 20 million to 25 on wikipedia in less than a year.
many sources say mj’s ‘thriller’ has sold 110 million copies ww and that he’s sold a total of 1 billion (with a ‘b’) records. i’ve always loved mj but even i question the 1 billion claim.
most people know labels exaggerate for pr purposes and britney’s label is no different.

christina feature on maroon 5′s ‘moves like jagger’ was #1 for 6 weeks on the billboard chart and spent 10 weeks in the top 3. it went #1 in 18 countries and was nominated for a grammy. it’s also one of the largest selling singles in history.

Britney fans promoted the single like a Britney song and William thanked to Britney that it was a dream come true.. Britney’s effect in the video and song is obvious and the song includes IT’S BRITNEY BITCH… She overshadowed William.. when christina hit the stage during the ‘kiss vma’s’ the crowd went crazy.but the press was so busy kissing britney’s ass they purposely played down christina. btw, christina’s stage presence and performance spanked your lip synching britney good.
in spite of the sleazy ‘no one cares about christina’ shaders her album ‘b2b’ placed number one for the highest first week sales of any female in 2006. b2b went double platinum while britney’s ‘blackout’ reached platinum status only after her drones launched a ‘buy blackout’ campaign in july 2011 (4 years after it’s release).
after christina’s ‘b2b’ mopped up ‘blackout’ and it equaled (or nearly equaled) the sales of ‘circus’ the media shoved their heads further up britney’s behind and haven’t seen the light of day since.
