After hitting sales of 470,875 units last week, numbers generated in the US this week saw it certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, as documented above.
Of course, while these numbers should have been scored first week considering the LP’s immaculate campaign, they do ensure that like Drake and Bruno Mars, he stands head and shoulders above a number of his closest contemporaries.
Contemporaries, who although score big on a singles tip, fail to live up to their hype when it comes to moving albums.
