Published: Monday 21st Jan 2013 by Sam

Fresh from blazing the Billboard charts with his his comeback effort ‘Suit & Tie’, Justin Timberlake is giving fans a window-peak into the making of its parent album – ‘The 20/20 Experience’.

Taking to his official website, the former NSync singer shared new shots of him and hitmkaer Timbaland in the recording studio as they continue piecing together one of Pop’s most anticipated releases.

Peep more pics after the jump…

With ‘Suit & Tie’ having marinated for a week now, we must say it musically didn’t serve up electrifying “I’m back” moment a single of its magnitude needed to. At least for us.

As such, we’re super keen to hear what else Mr Timberlake has up his sleeve.

Well, lets see how this era plays out because “Suit and Tie” was a HOT, SCORCHING MESS!!!!!!!

At this moment in time, NOTHING is FRESH OR INNOVATIVE about Contemporary R’n’B – Urban music is still stuck between the 20th Century and the Late 2000’s. Until someone comes along and brings something new – everything is reductive., even J.T

    Anyway・・・

    Kiii. 😉

I agree, a mess thats still messy. It’s funny because everything i’ve heard that Justin’s written/been a part of has been messy, the stuff with Leona to name one.
This picture does not inspire. Timberland hasn’t had a nit in ages…. since Nelly Furtardo’s Loose, and his music always sounds dated. Justin should’ve gone to NeYo, Stargate, The Dream and even The Neptunes. This album will sell and be number 1 but i doubt it’ll be good.

I agree with you in part! But the lack of resources thrown at R&B is the real problem. There a many great artists who are not played on mainstream white owneb R&B stations. It is what it is…………

      … in your opinion

  7. CHUDDS January 21, 2013

I liked S&T, but honestly I forgot all about it. He needs a banger. Uptempo, ballad, midtempo, whatever as long as it’s a BANGER!

  8. Girrrl January 21, 2013

I hope you all aren’t expecting JT to bring back R&B. Artists such as Miguel, Elle Varner, Usher (Climax) have kept the genre going when the mainstream artists chased pop hits. The Suit and Tie song is cute but it’s forgettable.

    • mob: that chick Elaine Brown January 21, 2013

JT is POP and always has. been He has done a masterful job of using black music when it’s convenient. I like him but it’s the truth! Usher huh…..LOL. He has a mixtire of music on his CD which helps him stay relevant. Can’t hate on that…….

      • mob: that chick Elaine Brown January 21, 2013

        mixture

    • RymeReason January 21, 2013

Thank you!! R&B has already been back. The only reason why he’ll benefit is because of his name and the fact that he’s white. Suite & Tie sounds like something that Robin Thick has already done, or something that got left off of FSLS.

  9. Touché January 21, 2013

He’s so fine. I can’t wait for his album.

‘Suit & Tie’ was complete bullsh** and I guess additing Beyonce’s PET CAMEL’s evil ass was suppose to do what sell the record to the”thirsty” masses? LOL..sorry 🙂

  11. Nichole January 21, 2013

Justank Timberfake is NOT R&B, and never will be

He used black music to sell, and remain relevant thus abandoning his pop roots inn the process.

This is the same tool that defended pop music against other artists that were mocking the sound. Now because he’s teamed up with Timbaland to create some urban beats, now all of a sudden he thinks he’s hip and is some savior to R&B music.

He is a fake, and a fraud.

By the way, the music climate has changed. JT needs to get with the times, and leave that stale and dated s*** in 2006.

Suite & Tie is a Flop? Did it not go to number 1 on the charts? Isnt it still in the Top Ten? Like some of yall got to be under 18 cause yall sound dumb lol! Suite and Tie is a grown up type of song, real smooth and caters to the winter season. This is a cuddling type song, that you can put on at night when you with your boo. Romantic. Justin Timberlake & beyonce –>> their not in their early 20’s anymore. so dont expect the same type of music from them as they grow their music is going to change.

&& can yall h*** define BLACK MUSIC?? thats the most ignorant s*** i ever heard. Music is defined by color now?

Everybody isnt trying to chase a HIT! Let justin do Justin

    • talk that s*** January 22, 2013

      it’s at #82 on the hot 100
