Arriving at the event for a spot of promo with her co-stars, Mariah opened up on the forthcoming season with press, six days before it hits FOX and welcomes what many hope will be the next generation of leading musicians.

I can’t remember the last time Rihanna had a multiplatinum certified album. She can sing about “Diamonds” all she wants, but she’ll never see that certification. We can accept that Mariah is past her peak and isn’t selling like she was when she was in her “IT”-girl phase because she’s now an icon and a legend in the world of music, AND because when she was at her peak her albums were selling 25-30+ million and going 7,8,9,10x platinum in the U.S. Rihanna on the other hand can’t push an album past PLATINUM in the U.S. (she struggles to do that much) and is lucky to sell 3-4 million WW. And this is DURING her supposed “IT”-girl phase. ROFLMAO! #ICANT. Those #’s prove that Rihanna is inferior! Mariah has plaques that Rihanna will NEVER accomplish. Know your place.
