Remix: Will.I.Am – ‘Scream & Shout (Ft Britney Spears, Lil Wayne, Wacka Flocka & Hit Boy)’

Published: Friday 25th Jan 2013 by David

Will.I.Am enlists Lil Wayne, Wacka Flocka Flame & Hit Boy to lend their skills to the remix of ‘Scream & Shout‘, his Britney Spears led smash hit.

Featuring a different backing to its original version, its gritty sound will come as a welcome surprise for fans of ‘The Hook Up’ singer, who have been calling for her to embrace a more urban sound since 2007’s ‘Blackout‘.

However, thanks to weak verses from Wacka and Wayne, we doubt the cut will fare well for these fans on a critical tip.

Find out why below…

    • Touché January 25, 2013

      So what you’re saying is you want the song to flop.

  6. S****** Blonde January 25, 2013

    “Blackout” is Britney best album alongside “In The Zone” which is more complete in terms of sounds, i think “Blackout” would have been a global success, if she had released the album pre-2007, every damn song in the album is a hit, i could only name 3 albums from 2006 to 2012 that are really masterpieces and those are “Back To Black”, “FutureSexLoveSouns” and “Blackout”, i don’t mention “The Fame Monster” because it was nothing groundbreaking despite have been an amazing album, the music is just inspired in the 80’s, Adele’s “21” is a respite from all the garbage that is in commercial radios but is so overrated, those 3 records are really gems of its time, i agree more urban Britney please!!!!

    • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ January 25, 2013

      I agree Blackout and ITZ are her best albums. I agree with what you said but masterpiece is one strong word to use.

      • MissImpartial January 25, 2013

        Not a huge Rihanna fan but her GGGB was a good album too. I remember the first time I heard the Blackout album and couldn’t believe how amazing it was considering the public meltdown she was going through at the time. The fact that her label had less in influence in the album was a good thing as well.

      • S****** Blonde January 25, 2013

        @ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ
        Well those are her masterpices, lol.

        @MissImpartial
        But she didn’t bring anything new, still like the album.

      • Lax January 26, 2013

        Britney has sold more Music before age 20
        then most artist their whole career. And Britney and
        Beyonce is the same age and beyonce & dc added
        together has not out sold Britney along.

  7. Music Soul Harmony January 25, 2013

    Lol weak rappers will do anything for a hit! I didn’t expect this from waka tho… Like wtf?

    • Lax January 26, 2013

  10. Career Ender January 25, 2013

    @Sam

    Tgj used to be a fun site but now its full of Evil Hateful Clowns

    • REAL TALK January 25, 2013

      @Career Ender, ikr! And they don’t even be Bey post. Maybe he should go a week or two without posting, until this s*** stops. I think its a lot of kids on here now! Maybe he should upgrade his blog and start putting certain comments in moderation, or just simply deleting them, because it’s getting out of hand!

    • Remix January 25, 2013

      i agree, a lot of kids who are several names on this site and continue to pollute thi site. and it becomes embarrassing for Sam and for trolls who continue to make comments that have nothing to do with the subject. It’s funny at the beginning to see these trolls more than nervous but it quickly becomes very monotonous

      • Touché January 25, 2013

        Agreed. It gets very annoying to the point where you don’t even want to come on anymore.

    • Lax January 26, 2013

      @KAT , COSIGN!

  11. Career Ender January 25, 2013

      Can Sam control what commentors write?
      He can moderate the comments but that might upset people.
      Maybe he should though, just like Necole Bitchie.

    • Lax January 26, 2013

      Once again get lossed if you can’t stand the noise here.

  12. Nichole January 25, 2013

    The beat goes hard, but Brit and Will’s vocals don’t mesh well with the beat.

    They should have recorded new vocals.

  13. Career Ender January 25, 2013

    And Miss Impartial,Gilberto,RichAndBlack, Enough onika, King Phoenix , Rated X (jasmine sulivan fan) damn most people are no longer here

    The final numbers are in, and Madonna’s 2012 “MDNA” tour has retained her box office form, clocking in at $305,158,363 gross with 2,212,345 in attendance over 88 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. The tour began in Israel last May 31 and finished in Argentina on Dec. 22, hitting Europe, Asia and North America in between.

    The “MDNA” final box office tally is enough to rank “MDNA” No. 10 all-time in tours as reported to Boxscore, sandwiched between the Rolling Stones’ “Licks” tour of 2002-2003 ($311 million) and the Stones’ “Bridges To Babylon” tour of 1997-98 ($274 million).

    • S****** Blonde January 25, 2013

      And she didn’t tour Australia like it was planned, it would have been epic but she didn’t care to break records, so sad, i would have so much fun.

    • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ January 25, 2013

      I know! So happy for her, true Queen. She remains unfazed through it all.

    • Lax January 26, 2013

  25. mobwife January 25, 2013

    I really hate this song! Britney looks gorgeous in the pic above tho! 🙂

  26. Aloys234 January 26, 2013

    Take a seat everyone!
    You could say this is a great track to help support the ‘coming out of hip hop’, which isn’t dead, just trying to find its way back. The new mix isn’t that bad actually, unsteady at first but is saved by lil Wayne, no thanks to waka whatever u call him.. But personally I don’t think I’ll be hearing much of this anywhere so live on the original..

  27. Lax January 26, 2013

    IT’S BRITNEY,,,
