Report: Eddie Murphy To Star In 'Beverly Hills Cop' TV Series

Published: Thursday 24th Jan 2013 by TGJ

Comedy legend Eddie Murphy may have suffered a string of bad luck in theaters over the past few years with his modestly performing films, but a try at T.V. may change that.  For, as reports have it, the ‘Party All the Time’ performer is set to “do time” afront television screens in the forthcoming ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ T.V. remake.

Reprising his role as Axel Foley, the new show is one of many 80s classics resurrected and revamped over the past few years. Set to make its debut on CBS in the coming months, as of now, there’s no word on the official dates or fellow cast members.

You tell us:  should ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ be remade into a TV series?
