Fresh from topping the charts with ‘Diamonds’ and its housing album ‘Unapologetic’, Pop diva Rihanna is making a beeline for the Grammy Awards stage.

For, it has been today announced the 24 year old will perform at the 55th instalment of music’s biggest calendar night.

The Bajan beauty is among the first set of performers announced to rock the February 10th show. Joining her, at present, are Taylor Swift, fun, Mumford & Sons, and The Black Keys.

It goes without saying that the performance serves as a major coup for the model’s latest album campaign – which, despite boasting a largely dire set of songs, seems vested (and has been somewhat successful) in establishing her as a credible artist.

We imagine the two songs she’s learnt to sing well, ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Stay’, will receive the live treatment – especially with the latter serving as the project’s current single. Whatever the case, this should be particularly interesting.

    I really dont care if she performs…my problem is the producers and herself will want to drag Chris to those damn Grammy’s for drama, the kid has one nomination? he should do a Khanye west and not show up, most people on these social networks stay up to see chris perform and I can date this back in 2011′s F.A.M.E ara where he was breaking viewership records on DWTS and attendance records on the Today show..since then every damn award show they want him?!     The Grammy’s has turned into every other award show. Instead of celebrating excellence in music they’re celebrating excellence in music sales and popularity. They are very slick. To disguise this travesty they only nominate a few talented artists in a pack of gimmicks.

    I loved her performance of we found love at the last Grammy’s, I cannot wait too see what she serves up this time around. Rihanna is a captivating performer and what I love about her is she doesn’t do too much on the stage that it looks like a ratchet roller coaster, Rihanna keeps it structurred, organized and captivative.

    I love her voice too, it’s so unique.

    Anyway, bitches better prepare for a big drop in the ratings cos last year the ceremony had the biggest in like 20 years thanks to Queen Whitney Houston, cos people actually wanted to remember how those days some years ago were, when massive talent and iconic artists were performing and winning, to the point some of them have very few grammys cos competition was huge even if you were amazing.
