Season 3 of The Voice may have wrapped just a few weeks ago, however production for season 4 is already underway!
The hit NBC show, which now airs twice yearly (Spring and Fall cycles), is welcoming Pop forces Usher and Shakira to its panel of Coaches.
Indeed, as earlier reported, the pair have been tapped to replace departing judges Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera – who are taking a season (or so) off to re-engage with their musical mainstays.
With the New Year upon us and the show’s March return looming, producers have today unveiled new promotional shots for the new panel.

Randomness: Interestingly, Shakira is heavily pregnant with her first child. And while the Columbian star is reportedly due any day now, it’ll certainly be interesting to see how this factors into the upcoming series. For, though premiering on March 25th, filming is either underway already or will be in the next few weeks.

they have definitely changed the dynamics of the show. the original cast was a good mix. i like both usher and shakira but not as replacements for ceelo and christina.
ceelo was unusual, funny and put on great flashy performances. i was pulling for the show to help christina to be able to overcome the harshly negative image of her created by the media. she gave useful criticism and came across as really caring for the contestants.

one hotness with swag is enough although i don’t think blake sheldon is too bad either. i just don’t think usher and shakira make a good charismatic mix like ceelo and christina. ceelo was good freaky comic relief. i think christina came off as a great coach and fit in well with the ‘boys’.
