Published: Wednesday 23rd Jan 2013 by Rashad

‘Far Away’ wailer Marsha Ambrosius has had fans on edge in anticipation of her latest video ‘Cold War’ – the first single from her sophomore album ‘Friends & Lovers’.

Accompanied by a dramatic storyline, ‘War’ makes for a good listen and watch – a refreshing view given the lack thereof from many of her contemporaries.  Click below to see what we mean:

Wait a minute… Either I’m crazy or that guy was in R.Kelly’s “trapped in the closet” music videos lol.

Like the song, adore her voice. But the video was strange, she’s no actress. Loved seeing my favorite The Wire characters though!

YESSSS IT MAKES ME WANT A NEW SEASON! I WAS MAD WHEN OMAR GOT POPPED.

  5. SLAYLOR SWIFT THE REAL TALENT January 23, 2013

She will not move units like SLAYLOR Swift. She perhaps needs to do like her last single, fly far away from the music industry because this honey boo boo was not hot, but very very cold. Perhaps flopetry can get back together and help this girl generate a single that will reach the billboard. Now that’s a war worth fighting.

The wire cast was the only thing that this single got’s going for it. Too bad videos account for nothing on the charts. Maybe Princess Swift will alow her to hit those “ooes” and “ahhs” on her chart toppers.

Love the song and the video! Marsha can do no wrong. But I almost cussed her out at the beginning because it looked like she was about to walk out on her man.

    The video was ALMOST complete.
Great idea though of relating the cold war theme to struggles, love and the hustle.

    Well thought out.
They best downgrade on that nice apartment lol.

    Big up to Marsha

Don’t really like the song or video to be honest but I LOVE Marsha and will still support the album because I know it will be brilliant.

And she is a BEAST live!
