The song was just sent to urban radio last week. It debuted at #29, the biggest growing song at urban radio this week.
U kids are always talking about charts and don’t even know how they work. Just because you see a song on itunes doesn’t mean the label has started to promote it at radio yet. Breaking a song takes time.
Once the song goes top 15 at urban the label will start to push it at rhythmic and then MAYBE pop radio if they feel it is worth it. Now have a seat!

Nice video, very simple with a 90s feel. When artist videos were about them and the song and not the gimmicks and theatrics behind them. Maybe a little more dramatic considering the songs lyrics but still good.

I think it was a little too simple. There’s a middle ground between boring and overboard and I think the video was on the boring side. Maybe if they would have acted out a little more ‘love’ and ‘war’ drama it would have been more interesting. I still like the song though, I think it’s good enough to stand alone. I’d only watch the video again just to hear/sing along with the song.

Dramatic black and white, slow motion feel….i like!!! Also i must comment on how good she looks with less makeup, it doesn’t seem to be caked up in this clip and she looks a lot more natural and sexy, especially with the dark hair.

Nice. The visual complimented the song very well. The song is solid on its own. I was thinking that maybe she could have tributed our servicemen and women, as the song is called Love & War, and possibly had a husband going off to war and she doesn’t want him to leave type of context.

powerful vocals on a song, yet the video was missing a solid story line. it was too simple, it had to many pointless, beauty shots where a story could have went on that went along with the song. i feel ppl are hyping her up too much. she is far from bad, BUT she isnt as big as every one on this site is trying to act. she is only doing well on the rnb charts, she hasnt been requested on major shows yet. dont fool her, readers of tgj and yourself that she is on toni’s level back in the 90s. she is just an rnb singer who had brief iTunes success, thats it.

Video is cool. I just hate when theydo that slow motion effect. Hated it when Mary did it with You Are My Everything and still hate it to this day. It makes it look like it wasn’t edited well because the lips don’t really move in sync with the song. Other than that, it was cool.
