Watch: Cissy Houston Talks Whitney Houston's Life & Death On 'Oprah's Next Chapter' (Full Episode)

Published: Tuesday 29th Jan 2013 by TGJ

As the world continues to adjust to a music industry without Whitney Houston, her mother Cissy Houston sat down for an exclusive interview on Oprah’s Next Chapter last night.

In true Oprah form, no stone was left unturned. As such, Cissy was quizzed on her immediate thoughts upon learning of her daughter’s death last February, the singer’s drug use, sexuality, and much more.

While critiqued by some (Cissy is releasing a book), this is most definitely a compelling watch. Check it out below…

Love Cissy’s honesty. May Whitney’s soul rest in peace.

Cissy so real. Was real sad when her brother said how he is doing and that he introduced Whitney to drugs. Such a shame but I hope that he takes this a lesson to live in his sisters name and not waste no more of his life with demons that won’t go away.

It’s time to live right & live FULL!

This was so so painful to watch. Whitney was an amazing person i learn so much from her life she was and is fabulous. We learn from her expertise, pain and falls but in the end she did rise again into the hands of God. It is know ones faught God knows what ill life will be her life was full and vast and it is not over its just beginning. Godbless all with love….

I thought the book was excellent to not exploit her but to once again that protective mother even in her death. The world/media turned on her daughter causing a negative view of her baby was as she PERSONALLY knew her. She set the record straight. Also I think that people forget that it isn’t that people are that ar the demon it that addiction. SHE PROTECTED HER DAUGHTERS NAME WITH THIS BOOK. THANK YOU CISSY R.I.P WHITNEY AND GOD BLESS THAT FAMILY
