Watch: Girls Aloud Perform ‘Something New’ On ‘Top Of The Pops’

Published: Tuesday 1st Jan 2013 by Sam

Brit-Pop belles Girls Aloud saw off 2012 with style.

The ladies blazed the ‘Top Of The Pops’ New Year’s Special stage with a live showing of comeback single ‘Something New’.

Backed by a troop of dancers, Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle and co served up a sass-soaked performance. Check it out below…

While we’ll never get over the hilarity of them singing “I just want to dance” while standing stone cold still, the song remains a banger and a fine addition to their catalogue. What’s more, they’re getting better at performing it too. Good stuff.

Nice song, meh performance. I mean, is this the best they can muster after ten years experience? Also, why is no one talking about them flopping? *innocent question*

Right! Their comeback flopped. They’ve had a few good songs over the years but overall they are pretty s***.

A nice song. But I have to wonder…what self-respecting pop group doesn’t dance?
