Hot Shot: Alexandra Burke & LeToya Luckett Pose It Up In Houston

alexandra letoya e1361360129105 Hot Shot: Alexandra Burke & LeToya Luckett Pose It Up In Houston

Cop a gander of R&B beauties Alexandra Burke and LeToya Luckett.

The pair was snapped catching up at an NBA All-Star event in Houston, Texas over the weekend.

Brit-bred Burke was in H-Town recording her third studio album, while former Destiny’s Child member Luckett resides there (when not working in Los Angeles). No word on when Lady L will be releasing her own third project, however she’s by no means idle. The 31 year old is a series regular on BET sitcom ‘Second Generation Wayans’ and is set to star in a new Gospel production.

More power to the ladies in their respective hustles?

Randomness: Does anyone else think a collaboration between the two would be super interesting? It wouldn’t be the first time LeToya has joined forces with a UK songstress. Indeed, her sophomore set ‘Lady Love’ housed the sublime Estelle collaboration ‘Take Away Love’.

Your thoughts?

    Cool pic.
LeToya be making them coins. Owns shops, all up on tv with wayans, treme, for richer for poorer, movie called Note to Self, working on music.
Just shows theres many ways to win, even if not MEGASTAR money.

Alex looking real nice and well put together. Want this album to really bring out the beastly vocals.

Take Away love was not a good song. It was very flat and unprogressive. Toya’s 1st album was great, the second had some gross missteps. A read of the reviews on Wikipedia describes an album too ballad heavy with unvaried subject matter. I agree. Kelly’s first two albums are better than any other DC member’s.

I hope they do not work together. Letoya is at best when she works with her self.

Out of all DC members Letoya has the best album (Self Titled).

Take away love i do not like that song.

yall are trippin if yall didnt like take away love i mean it was a slow track but man was that a cut. I actually enjoyed Toya’s Lady LoVE album which is very underrated and downplayed forreal. And Alexandra looking good she just need the right material and things that fit her own style.

Yes I agree Lady Love was a great r&b album. Very underrated. Much more mature than her debut. It was a little ballad heavy and some tracks did blend together but it was a confident and assured set of work.

She Ain’t Got… is still an ANTHEM to this day!

SO GLAD to see Alex making moves like this and socialising and associating herself with positive artists and figures in the biz! Keep working girl.

BRING IT with this next album. You have potential to DOMINATE WORLDWIDE
