Fans of former stageblazer Britney Spears were certainly ready to scream & shout after reports the pop princess was on board to join the star-studded remix of her most recent top 10 hit with ‘Black Eyed Peas’ frontman Will.I.Am.
Dubbed the ‘urban remix’, the Hitboy-produced venture is said to feature hip hop heavy hitters Lil’ Wayne, Diddy, and Waka Flocka. And, while we anxiously await what the sixsome have cooked up, Spears took to Twitter today to announce when fans will get their first glance at the revamped visual of ‘Scream’…
This ought to be interesting….

@ Twitta, don’t play. Britney has been the dream collaborator for rappers for a decade. Nelly wanted her instead of Xtina, i think 50 cent wanted to work with her in the past too. So has Diddy and of course Snoop. I know a large black audience that jams to some of britney’s joints.
The remix is wack, but i cant wait to see how she looks in the video.

these hip hop performers know if they allow britney to just sneeze on their record her fans will be pulled in and help boost their records sales. she’s only on 1% of the record because they don’t want to turn off urban audiences. they don’t give a sh!t about “it’s britney bitch”.
