Justin Bieber Lands Fifth #1 Album With ‘Believe: Acoustic’

Published: Wednesday 6th Feb 2013 by David

Hard work- as they say- always pays off in the end.

That’s right, after enjoying the commercial acclaim brought to him by his 2012 album ‘Believe‘, Justin Bieber proved his worth as one of Pop’s hardest working entertainers when he hit the studio to forge an acoustic version of the piece.

Enlisting some of the industry’s hottest writers to help him do so, his efforts to showcase his talent paid off today when the project hit #1 on the Billboard 200, marking his 5th time atop the chart.

Full story below…

With 211,000 units sold in its first week, ‘Acoustic’ sits pretty atop the chart, helped in part by R&B masterminds Songwriter TC and Elijah Blake who were called in to pen two of the LP’s original numbers.

Peaking at #5 in the UK and #4 in Ireland, there remix album goes a long way to flaunting the range Bieber will need to make a clean transition from teen heart throb to adult megastar, a la ‘I Think She Knows’ maestro Justin Timberlake and his ‘Climax’ mentor Usher.

Sam is a fan of this girl, lmao, you posted about this but not about more important things about Music like Mariah’s new single, Madonna’s MDNA Tour, ect, ect…anyway i have never listen to her songs, i don’t even watch her videos, i respect myself way too much to do that.

    • JOHNVIDAL February 6, 2013

LOL Justin Beiber is bigger, more of an artist and more iconic than Madonna and Mariah Carey. Didn´t you know that?

      • S****** Blonde February 6, 2013

Yes, she is, a true icon.

      • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 6, 2013

Yes, he’s like this generations Michael except more successful, more talented, and more relevant.

Congratulations to Justin… Does he deserve it? No!!!!

    • bieberfan February 6, 2013

He deserve it because white america support the white mainstream artist while black people bash and criticize black artist.

When you’re music is ‘purposely’ promoted and geared towards a particular target audience, by corporate record labels, and is heavily mass-packaged to large mainstream (single and album buying) constituencies in order to draw in a particular fanbase; pubescents, adolescents and pre-teens, seeing that they are the primary popular/commercial market, YOU CAN SELL ALMOST ANYTHING.

    A MESS…

    But congrats.

You are so right. Like Nicki Minaj. She’s a 31 year old packaged brand for teens. Nothing against Nicki but it confirms that once Nicki realized her market were kids primarily between the ages of 5-18, she played the part. The colors and costumes were a magnet to draw that adolescent audience in. Amazing how a character can brainwash an entire generation.

People talk about adele being overrated but chile…This little right here. Smh. I just don’t get it with him. With that being said I’ll never let you go is and forever be my song. 😀 tihi

Justine gurl, put that shirt down. Nobody wants to see your itty bitties. I see your label has been buying your CD’s.

His management is smart. They know he, like Rihanna, will only be as relevant as his last single. If he took a break, somebody else would swoop in a take his place.

When he’s able to sell #1 albums in the next 15 years, then he has achieved something -_-

    • Music Soul Harmony February 6, 2013

Can’t wait for him to turn into another Aaron Carter! hahaha.

    • grrreatt1 February 6, 2013

Sure he’s accomplished a lot for his age, but he’s just a fad, he’s only selling because his fanbase is dedicated to buying his albums. When he’s still selling after 20 years and has a diamond album like Usher then I’ll respect him, but for now, I don’t think he deserved it because there are much more talented vocalists that deserve his success.

  7. CHUDDS February 6, 2013

The crazy thing about JB is that he can actually sing, unlike many of his heartthrob counterparts. I see him assimilating into adult stardom with ease….

    • Music Soul Harmony February 6, 2013

Plzzzz. I’ve heard better singers his age. His range is nothing to write home about.

      • CHUDDS February 6, 2013

There’s always someone better out there, but that’s beside the point. Range isn’t everything babe. His control, tone & runs do it for me. Good artist? Not really. Exceptional vocalist? Yes.

      • Music Soul Harmony February 6, 2013

^^Uhhh no. Control? Tone? Runs? Exceptional vocalist? Nothing out of the ordinary. My point is that he is overhyped for someone who doesn’t even have that great of voice or artistry for that matter. Nor is he that good of a dancer.

    • Music Soul Harmony February 6, 2013

and his voice is very whiney.

    Lesbian white boy flexin.

  9. ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 6, 2013

ppfffttt Elvis better watch out before Justin snatches his wig with the most #1 albums.

Mess to the fullest. I can’t. I’m pressed but congrats home girl.

  10. CLOUD February 6, 2013

  11. Pop Royalty February 6, 2013

5th #1 album in US ? Rihanna , girl …… you look more stupid by every second passing.

i can shade this lil girl to another galaxy , but i won’t waste my shading skills on her.

  12. Ronald February 6, 2013

Wait, this Ellen look-a-like released 5 albums???

  13. JER February 7, 2013

That can’t be right. Justin Beiber has Five #1 albums but Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Etta James, Mahalia Jackson, Cher, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, and many others don’t. SMH
