Is it us or are the members from Mary Mary rolling super solo these days?
Last week, sister Erica Campbell was snapped looking somewhat annoyed after a rehearsal with sibling Tina. Yesterday saw the powerhouse pose it up solo (again) at the Essence Black Women In Music gala in Los Angeles.
Erica’s singular showing will do little to quell speculation that internal tensions have the group at breaking point.
As keen appreciators of their music (and weekly WE tv show), we’re hopeful any issues are ironed out pronto. The ladies still have much to give to Gospel and beyond. {Hits ‘Play’ on ‘Shackles’}

They just did a recent interview were they finally cleared everything up. They will be going on a break to allow Tina to take some time off and travel with her family. Erica will continue as a solo singer and put out an album but they do plan on getting back together after the break, similar to what Destiny’s Child did.

Yawn. This is old news. They already confirmed with Essence that Erica is doing a solo record while Tina takes a break to go traveling. They’ll still make appearances together.
