In an industry where moral standards are altered to fit the celebrity behind the crime, Chris Brown has oft found himself on the harsher end of the scale.
Indeed, while his assault on Pop singer Rihanna back in 2009 remains inexcusable, the years that followed have seen the ‘Deuces‘ star belaboured criticisms of his past, while a number of his fellow entertainers have seen their past transgressions intentionally overlooked by the press.
The likes of Mark Wahlberg spring to mind.
Now, in what’s sure to add flame to fire, one of our favorite shows ‘Law & Order: SVU’ is readying the launch of an episode which seemingly pulls from Brown’s first relationship with the ‘We Found Love‘ singer, aptly named ‘Funny Valentine‘.

Rihanna did how many songs and videos about that night and Chris for her financial gain? She sure wasn’t trying to keep it ‘Nobodies Business’ so long as she could make a buck from it.
The only difference here is someone else is putting out a visual and these two won’t have a word in what’s shown. They can tune in and observe their stupidity from the outside like the rest of us.

This is why I think their relationship will not last. All the references to their dysfunctional relationship will begin to become tiresome if it’s not already. L&O/SVU is basically calling Chris and Rihanna out and reinforcing to an already cynical public that their relationship is dysfunctional (and criminal.) They’re using these two to send a “message” to viewers that like them isn’t how anyone should be. When SVU does an episode about how wrong the life and times of certain celebrities are, it’s the ULTIMATE shade. LOL
