After a number of false starts, R&B supergroup TGT have finally set the wheels in motion for their debut album. The trio, which consists of crooners Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank) today unwrapped the project’s latest single ‘Sex Ain’t Never Felt Better’.

While sex has sadly morphed into the main focus of popular music these days, there is little wrong with this rousing slow jam.
Baby making music at its best, the mid-tempo grove boasts butter-smooth vocals and beautiful harmonies, while lyrically it tackles the “sensual” tastefully.
The current chart climate may favour first-pumping Pop, yet we see this gaining lots of mileage on Urban Adult Contemporary radio – and deservingly so. Great track.

Sadly, this song just epitomizes everything WRONG with Contemporary R&B today…
Musically Bland, Lyrically UN-inspiring and just down-right Artistically Redundant.
It was HOT when Bobbyw Brown, Silk, Colour Me Badd, R.Kelly and Keith Sweat etc… introduced us to the “Slow-Jam” in the early-to-mid 1990′s to which other artists carried that torch into the early 2000′s, but why have we failed to evolve since then?
That is why R&B is commercially lost. Thank God for Miguel, The Weekend and other talented Neo-R&B/Soul artists who are trying to redefine and create.

I’m not a big fan of them individually but together they compliment each other very well. This song is hot- Tank’s part especially.
This is the kind of music Trey Songs is doing right now and he has had countless top ten and #1 r&b hits with it. Now that we finally have some real singers who are believable they should def be able to burn up urban radio with it too.
