Published: Thursday 14th Feb 2013 by Rashad

After last Valentine’s Day saw him unveil the top ten smash ‘Climax’ from his latest album, Usher for a redo with new song ‘Go Missin’.

The Diplo-produced number, making its waves across the net today, sees the crooner showcase that very same highly praised falsetto that took ‘Climax’ to the top of charts.

See if it lives up to its hype below:

The only post I want from this site is

    NEW SONG: Beyonce – Runway

    That is all……

  2. King B>Rihanna February 14, 2013

Usher is one of the most talented artists of his generation. Seriously, this is how R&B music should sound in an era when progression and evolution is needed to push the genre forward. Instead of recycling past hits by other acts – Justin Timberlake, I’m looking at you – Usher has brought something different to the table and it is fantastic!

  3. yeahman February 14, 2013

    new usher……the king!!

  4. LoveYou February 14, 2013

Terrible…far from Climax…. So Eletro … Justin Timberlake has closed the casket on Ushet dead career … He gave Usher years to get his s*** together .. It’s sad because Usher destroyed Timberlake with Confession.,..

  5. CzarM February 14, 2013

That f*** is this s***? That was just stupid. It’s tragic what’s happened to Usher and his music. He’s looking for himself, alright…fool has totally lost his identity and has no idea who he is anymore. He’s become like a 50 year old man in shades.

  6. ohboy… February 14, 2013

I like it, it’s like Climax, a genre that can’t be defined. Before everyone comes in here to say that he needs to go back to RnB, Usher made a straight up RnB album and ya’ll weren’t here for it, he’s a musician and he can’t be put in one box for the rest of his career.

  7. EnRanc February 14, 2013

This song is str8up dumb. It’s embarrassing that Justin Timberlake is keeping it realer than Usher these days.

  8. Avi February 14, 2013

Garbage. I cant even make sense out of this mess. Guess the saying is true, the bigger you are the harder you fall. Usher fell off bad.

  9. My Forehead Tho February 14, 2013

As soon as I heard that electro inspired beat, i cut that s*** off…

He needs to return to RnB

  10. S****** Blonde February 14, 2013

Who cares!…The Pop Prince Justin Timberlake is back.

  11. JUELZ February 14, 2013

USHER = The ‘Current’ King of Contemporary R&B!!!

    I like this.

It may take a while for me to get use to that repetitive, electronic-synth-string that is pulsing in the background however.

  12. Vegas February 14, 2013

    What tha???????? No, just no…

  13. Mother Monster February 14, 2013

He’s lost it r.i.p usher thank God Justin Timberlake is back yaaaaaay

  14. SBC19 February 14, 2013

I couldn’t listen to this all the way thru. This aint Usher. This is some soulless androdian double from an alternate universe with the same name.

  15. ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 14, 2013

    @S******

What good does Justin returning to music do if he can’t give better than an “okay” or “a good” song? Stop trying it. Its just one more thin Usher can do better which is STILL being able to deliver after many albums. Justin had one good album (Justified) and one fantastic album (FutureLove/Sexsounds) and now he’s shaping up to be releasing an okay album. 🙄

Honestly, he could’ve kept that to himself.

  19. MsThing485 February 14, 2013

Bye Usher. Been a fan since ’94 and have been trying to be tolerant of this desperate “I’m doing this s*** to fit in” electro-dance phase but my patience with it now is starting to wear thin. Usher is coming off the poorest selling album of his career, I would think that would put his head back on straight and make him see that his fans don’t want this crap from him, but I see that it’s not. Me and Ursher are going nowhere fast, I think we’ve reached the climax.

  20. BeyFRAUD Armstrong (Beyonce’s Weave) February 14, 2013

10x better than Suit and Tie. Love it Usher….love him, he’s so HOT. His body is so s*** I just want to rub my arms all over him. I want Usher so bad….

  21. Vandrea February 14, 2013

#FAIL. I wouldn’t listen to this twice. Usher used to be the man, now he is turning into a joke,

  22. JER February 14, 2013

I never thought I’d LIVE to see the day that black artists ran out of ideas that they’d try to steal gay white people music. SMH.

  23. : : . W A T E R S P O R T S February 14, 2013

    @ JER

Girl you support RIHANNA, so let’s not.

  24. Teacher February 15, 2013

    I’m not here for it!

  25. ENOUGH ONIKA (0 GRAMMY NOMS…) February 15, 2013

It’s definitely different…..it’s one of those tracks you have to listen to more than twice to get your feelings together. I do like the vocal arrangements so far….

  26. ladylady February 15, 2013

I love this. Fresh. New…. Original. Other artists need to take this as an example for pushing the envelope.

  27. theman February 15, 2013

Usher is one of the most talented male artist’s out there period. Pop radio hops on just about anything “JT” puts out. “Climax” was one of the most brilliant songs released recently, and pop radio didn’t play it. Yet they are playing “JT”s” urban sounding music. Right….All of these people yelling about r&b need to leave it alone. Y’all don’t support it. Y’all just yap about it. Artist’s have to grow. That’s why they are called artist’s.

  28. yelling February 15, 2013

@ THE MAN Lets not make excuses for Usher. Usher was one of the very few black artists that HAD crossover appeal . He has reached the same outlets and even had more success than Justin. This the the reason Usher has it harder than artists for jumping on that Euro Trash, because he cross over to POP markets with classic, pure RnB .. Climax was crossover but for some reason or another Usher was so desperate to reach POP radio with the release of Scream with lost the focus of “Climax” and f***** up the whole vibe. The other downfall with “Climax” is Usher didn’t have anything else to back it up with. If it was any other black artist that had a debate about POP radio catering to JT because he’s white they may have an argument , but Usher is not the one.

  29. Arie February 15, 2013

I’m still trying to figure out which market is this song targeting and what the hell is he saying besides Go missin’.

  30. oooh February 15, 2013

I don’t know why some of you are saying it’s Eurotrash, when the song has the same concept of Climax, it starts out fast and then slows down and becames this mixture of genres. Usher’s voice has really grown, and I honestly think he’s the best out of his generation, I mean he has a 4 octave vocal range, that’s wider than some female vocalists. regardless of what he’s doing now a days, I respect him for doing something risky like this and not playing it safe. That’s why I like his music, none of his albums sound the same. I can’t understand I word he’s singing because of how high he goes but that’s what I love about it lol

  31. mary February 15, 2013

Usher is one hell of a vocalist, the way he harmonizes is very soothing and chilling. Anyway this song seems like a grower, I wasn’t sure of it at first and I almost turned it off when I heard the beat at first, but then I noticed things, the middle eastern influences, the beat that keeps repeating itself is almost hip hop in some way? The way Usher easily goes from the lowest of his range to the highest, it’s not innovative like Climax, but it doesn’t make it a bad song.

  32. cocobutta February 15, 2013

    I’ve gon missing after listening.
    LOVE ME SOME USHER…

Longevity is him but this song just doesn’t do it for me.

  33. Savannah February 15, 2013

Not a bad song at all. Usher definitely has awesome vocals & skill. It’ll grow on me. Hopefully his next album has a better direction. I NEED classic Usher w/ a twist!

  34. Hilly February 15, 2013

Electro? I’m tired of this genre , it’s too bad because his vocals are flawless as usually but I’m not into it. I’m going to wait for JT’s new album.

  35. MUSICHEAD February 15, 2013

This is one of the hottest songs he’s done since the Raymond vs Raymond album. This is r&b with a techno twist. Downloading immediately.

    Winner!!!

  36. Uyun February 15, 2013

Couldn’t make it past 20 sec… even then I wanted to stop it at 10, hell 5 secs…

    Usher…

My question is why did the Grammy’s not place his CD in the categoy with Chis Brown, Miguel and A** Ocean for Best in Contemp R&B? I was surprised that they only had 3 acts in a category as BIG as Contemporary R&B. Funny how NO media outlet will mention that fact? 0_o

  42. mob: live ur life chris brown & rih, f*ck the haters February 15, 2013

I guess my previous comment will show up eventually 0_o? WTH is going on with this site these days?

Anyway, Usher is definitely putting Justine TimberFAKE on notice that he is not reliquishing hold on his spot in R&B-POP just yet…LOL! !:-)

  43. eric February 15, 2013

Sounds like a hybrid version of Hot Tottie and Climax. I still feel like Usher is chasing after popular trends.

IT SHOULD PROVE INTERESTING when these two go HEAD TO HEAD at next years MUSIC AWARDS!!

  46. Truth February 15, 2013

For as long as Usher continues to make this techno s***, I hope he continues to flop. When he comes to his senses and gives me another “You Don’t Have to Call” or “Burn,” then I’ll support him again.

  47. Not Impressed February 15, 2013

This is NOT hot. I’ma bout done w/Ursher. I don’t know where his head is at these days and quite frankly I don’t like his direction now.

  48. DMWN February 15, 2013

I reject this. Tameka Foster and Justin Bieber did a real number on this guys head. The real Usher died in 2008, this is just an empty pod with his face.

  49. FireIce February 15, 2013

What’s the matter with y’all. R&B and Techno don’t mix. Hell, Urban music and techno don’t mix, period. It’s an ugly contradicting clash. I don’t know what Usher’s problem is but I wish he would get his stuff together because lately his music has been a total mess.

  50. grrreatt1 February 15, 2013

@S******, poor you, you’re so bitter. Usher isn’t afraid to take risks, and he isn’t afraid to do something different. Justin must of crapped his pants when he heard Climax, because he’s clearly failing, Suit and Tie is crap. Take notes JT, Usher is the real vocalist here 😉

  51. Absolved February 15, 2013

I doubt that JT crapped his pants when he heard any of the music Usher has put out in the past 3 years, because it’s all been terrible. Usher is shadow of his former self. He’s been downgraded from being THAT DUDE who basically owned the music world from 1997 to 2005 to being some wannabe 18 year old, chasing after the trends he thinks Bieber and Katy Perry fans will approve of, releasing s*** that sounds like it was rejected by Taio Cruz, while continuing to purge his core fans. It’s sad. And what’s he gotten out of it? He’s lost 1/2 his fanbase and hasn’t been able to recruit any new fans to make up the difference. Looking 4 Myself is a mega flop and deservedly so. Now he’s been reduced to sitting on the judges panel on The Voice. How embarrassing.

“Suit & Tie” has outpeaked every song Usher has put out since OMG and I’d be willing to bet that 20/20 is going to outsell L4M by a considerable margin. If JT was ever envious or scared of Usher, he certainly has no reason to be now because Usher’s whole operation is in disarray and he did it to himself. If anything, Usher should be looking at JT and trying to figure out how he got away with coming back the way he went out, while Usher has had to reduce himself to pandering to fads and STILL not making half the dent he used to. And I say all this as a one-time Usher stan. He has completely let me down and I’ve turned cold towards him.

Usher can sit. When he gets his mind right and stops trying to be the lost member of LMFAO, then my respect for him can resume. In the meantime, this schizophrenic new song is completely unlistenable.
