Fans of ‘Dive In’ divo Trey Songz know he’s currently making a splash at box offices worldwide on his ‘Chapter V’ world tour (featuring Miguel & Elle Varner).
As recent pit stops have seen him on our side of the pond, Songz was spotted this week with the U.K.’s Tim Westwood to dish on the tour, his latest album, venture into movies, and more.
Never one to hold back, when quizzed on his buried beef with R&B king R. Kelly, the ‘Panty Droppa’ dropped info on the real reason he was ‘frustrated’ with Kellz – citing the ‘Bump N’ Grind’ crooner’s use of autotune among reasons for his frustration.
Click ‘Read the Rest’ to see what else Songz had to say about his ‘idol’:

When the guys fight, its worse than the girls’ RIP. What type of scorned lover mess is this? I understand what Trey is saying though but ch…..
On a lighter note, he looks like he has some R.Kelly in his blood, maybe they’re related.

And Who is he to call out his idol though?
That’s like:
-Nicki calling out Kim
-Usher calling out Michael Jackson
-Michael Jackson calling out James Brown
-Ciara calling out Janet Jackson
-Lady Gaga calling out Madonna
-Rihanna calling out Beyonce
-etc
He should have nothing but positive things to say about R Kelly because he did swagger jack him -_-

I love me some Beyonce and am anticipating her concert today even tho there’s ‘possed to be a football game before and after she snatches wigs, BUT I will admit that she did get being picture perfect from J.lo whack ass. She was not serving glam the way she does now until a bit after that first solo album. I’m not a Bey stan and am not allowed in the Beehive lol, but this is true.

I’m frustrated with your lack of creativity on your songs, the howling you call singing, your non existent vocal range, lack of stage presence and your blatant disrespect for a legend who you not only emulate but paved the way for you so Trey Songz please have a seat hoe and don’t get up until you have made classic records that in 20 years people will still bump like R Kelly has
Side note I don’t think you ever will so get comfortable in that seat hoe

i was distracted by that gap in his lap. honey close your legs, that’s not lady-like.
and as far as his beef with kellz, boy please – how dare you call out somebody for using autotune when you use it faithfully. and even when you dont..YOU NEED TO to disguise those prairie dog howls!

Im a fan of trey. This is the 1st time I’ve heard him actually talk in detail about the songs on the album. But Im still gonna say this album is far from his best. He said it took him 2 years to put it together because he was having fun? After hearing that, Im kinda like huh?. That must explain his meaning of diverse too.? Diverse right, he must of kicked then hit the studio, kicked it, then it the studio again, kicked it, then hit the studio again like where did we leave off @? Uhh never mind, Im feeling tipsy so lets do this, etc. So diverse turned into being all over the place. Then he says GROWTH? Mmmm naw, Besides about 4 or 5 songs I would of expected some of those songs to be on his 1st album and the others space fillers. SMH But still a fan so with the next album do ya thang bruh.

But shouldn’t Trey be frustrated with the fact that supposedly he’s a song writer but no one knows it…. Why are you worried about R Kelly when he’s already a legend. Worry about making your own way.
