She came. She saw. She conquered.

With the world’s eyes squarely on her, Beyonce delivered the performance of a life-time at the Super Bowl 2013 Half-Time Show tonight in New Orleans.

Joined by special guests Destiny’s Child, the 31 year old proved why – without a spec of doubt – she is definitive performer of this generation.

What are you waiting for? Watch King B in action below…

Yes, yes, and YES! Beyonce showed up and showed out! From the choreography, to the sass, to the surprises…this was all sorts of EPIC. In the span of 12 minutes, the singer served up a performance that elevates her to the status of many of her own heroes.

Love her or loathe her, Bey is strutting towards legend status – and no one can stop her.

        B**** please!!

    • zania February 3, 2013

I actually give credit when it is due, Beyonce didn’t bring anything new, same combine performances from her.

      • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 3, 2013

THIS. Let the exaggerations begin 🙄

      • Nika February 3, 2013

Agreed.. Same ole, same ole. She did however look good.

    • Jasmine February 3, 2013

Her performance was boring and predictable. Nothing special. Even Madonna’s performance last year was more entertaining than hers and Madge is 54.

      • jjenn February 3, 2013

isnt it weird normally when she perform live u nver hear her breathing but now u hear it and her live singing aint that god..mhhh..im beggining to think she didnt sing live on her tour

the fact that you mentioned Rihanna proves her relevance

    • Nika February 3, 2013

I will 4ever think Bey and Kelly as “The Mean Girls” b/c they know damns ell Michele don’t belong up there with them. They got her making them look good. That poor chile. Need a burger and personality.

      • Wow February 9, 2013

Have you met Michelle? She has more personality than then both put together. Michelle is so funny and a bug goofball with not in any way cold or pretentious. Michelle is a riot the other two…..

    • RoyalKev February 3, 2013

and the madness begins … Bey did a great job!

People are so funny, everyone does signature moves for these kind of events. Janet did her Rhythm Nation routine, Madonna did some Voguing, MJ did a lot of his moves he made famous (moon walking, kick & spins) for SB, but of course Bey has to reinvent everything from scratch for Single Ladies and Crazy In Love! Ridiculous! A duet with Jesus would still not please some of ya’ll haters!

Um, don’t you Stan for aguilera ?
The fact that 4 first week outsold bionic & lotus is laughable, you can no longer speak

      • mr.m February 3, 2013

        Sales mean nothing!!
If Xtina promoted Bionic or Lotus the way Flopyonce put every $$$ of her ass in promoting 4thFlop she’d slay her alive #FACT
Beyonce is trying way too hard to be iconic
        UNFORTUNATELY, it’s not working #FAIL
Why? coz she’s just copying artists .. NO IDENTITY
        ON THE OTHER HARD,
Xtina’s REALNESS and voice (ALONE) has made her A LEGEND #TRUTH #FACT # DEAL

  8. THE GREAT LACEFRONCE. February 3, 2013

    It was ALRIGHT! Nothing special

Same boring songs: crazy in love, halo, etc

    same choreography

everyone knew she would bring out Kelly & Michelle because she wasn’t confident that she could make a big enough impact on her own 😕

And she sounded like SHITE on Halo, all that grunting and straining 😕 that’s how I knew it was live though

Her voice has gone down the shitter

    • STONY February 3, 2013

IT WAS BORING I ALREADY KNOW BEYONCE ROUTINE AS A STAN AND FOR REAL SHE NEEDS TO WORKS ON HER CREATIVITY

    • mob: Nat Turner dreamin’ February 3, 2013

Yes, I was expecting something a bit diferenet but she played it safe and went with the routines she had done previously. It was an entertaining half-time show however.

    • Don’t_Start_No_Shit February 3, 2013

But what about the new single girl? The announcement? Like wtf? Hopefully they’ll be both released by morning tomorrow. Still the best sb show ever. Amazing! !!

    • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 3, 2013

      “Best sb halftime show ever.”

      Sure. 🙄

      • oh baby (b****** will Deal with slayonces slayage) February 3, 2013

Yeah just like it’s YOUR opinion that it isn’t, it’s MINE that it is so let’s just agree to disagree love and stop with all that unnecessary sarcasm 🙂

      • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 3, 2013

You’re right, its your opinion. Its not a fact because Prince, Janet, and Michael of all people had better showings in the eyes of the critics and GP. There was no unnecessary sarcasm it was needed because that was stan talking.

No matter, its your fave and you can choose to believe what you want. It doesn’t make it true.

      • oh baby (b****** will Deal with slayonces slayage) February 4, 2013

Maybe it is the stan in me talking, but I can tell you a lot of people in the general public are for my opinion. I’m not the only one who thinks so. Even non stans/fans are appreciating what she did so… and hmm, again I still think it was very unnecessary because like you just did with this last response, you got your point across without sarcasm so….yeah. 🙂

  12. truth(slayer of icki funky ass stans B****!!) February 3, 2013

    • TheMoon February 4, 2013

You know I agree, however I watched and listened over and over and over and over again and I still wasn’t able to decide if she sung it live because the vocal tone completely changes once she sings ‘Crazy in Love’ AND she sung ‘Love on Top’ in the dark.. Understand my dilemma? LOL

    • SlayDeleAdkins February 6, 2013

I KNOW SOME IDOT IS GONNA SAY “SHE LIPSYNCHED THAT!!” LOOOL!! PRESSED H***!!

      Amen

  15. F****** Hairy (Lana & Gaga schoolin’ h***) February 3, 2013

The b**** slayed that whole mothaf*ckin stadium. I was getting goosebumps watching that performance.
That DC3 reunion had the crowd jumpin, pun intended.
She really knows how to put on a show, no disappointment here.

  16. JUELZ February 3, 2013

Hmmm – I thought she was OKAY and just that, OKAY. In my opinion, it wasn’t anything beyond spectacular or something that I haven’t seen before in her other performances. It looked more like an extended version of her previous stage shows.

    1) Her ‘Baby Boy’ segment entertained me the most.
    2) Kelly looked HOT
    3) Michelle looked so OFF, she was making me uncomfortable.

    #ThatIsAll

    • HoneychildPlease February 3, 2013

      truth!!

    • jrm February 3, 2013

you are so right!! it was hot but nothing we had never seen from her, just a little change in the choreo here and there. i though i was the only one thinking the same.lolz

    • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 3, 2013

      This.

I thought the highlights were Beyonce (she looked beautiful), Destiny’s Child reunion, and Baby Boy. That is it and its nothing that we haven’t seen before.

But already they’re saying its the best Halftime, child have you seen Prince’s? Michael’s? just a few suggestions…..

      • JUELZ February 3, 2013

        Exactly @M.C…

Everybody who knows/has seen/has heard/or follows Beyonce’ knows that she is very talented but, tonight, she disappointed me HIGHLY.

I thought she would do something that the majority would not expect.

She looked gorgeous tonight, yes… But, all in all, what about this performance was something that we haven’t seen from her before?

And Madonna, Janet, M.J? Of course. I’m not really a fan of Pop music in general, but I can admit to these two legends being the ultimate masters of performance, routine and imagery. Something of which Beyonce, unfortunately, failed to bring this evening.

I am more into Rock/Soul so i.e – Prince, The Rolling Stones, The Who, U.2, Springsteen etc… THOSE were performances to me!!!

      • JUELZ February 3, 2013

And the ‘BEST S.B EVER’? LMAO

        >>>>>>> _/

    • mob: Nat Turner dreamin’ February 3, 2013

      THIS RIGHT HERE PEOPLE!

Beyonce looked very nice but Kelly just looked amazing. This was the1st time I’d say she damn near “outshinned” Bey!

      • JUELZ February 3, 2013

        DEFINETELY.

      • amina February 3, 2013

        SHE DID THAT!!!!

      • Kelz February 3, 2013

        she was definitely

    • Saetana February 4, 2013

I’ve got to agree – in my book she beat Madonna hands down because she sang live and Madonna lipsynched but I found Beyonce’s show a bit messy. She tried to mash too many songs together, the butchery of End of Time did not sit well with me, and Kelly and Michelle did unfortunately not rise to the occasion, in fact they both looked uncomfortable. I see what she did, she treated it just like a larger version of one of her own shows, it fit Beyonce but I found her a bit lost on such a big stage with not much else gong on. Madonna is the queen of electronic effects, her show was good last year for that reason alone (as her dancing and lipsynching were both shite), Beyonce is the queen of LIVE performance. I honestly expected more from her for the Superbowl though, maybe I’ll enjoy it more when I can see some HD video later as that one is pixellated to f*** ;o)

  17. BeyFRAUD Armstrong (Beyonce’s Weave) February 3, 2013

LMAO was that it??? Was that what the Hood-hive were hyping since last year??? OMG that was it??? Really????

And having a lack of hits didn’t save her too, she gave the most boring SB performance in SB history. Justin Timberlake was really needed, he would have made what was a sloppy, ghetto mess interesting.

    • Uyun February 3, 2013

A Rihanna and Justin Bieber fan has no business critiquing anyone else’s live performance.

    All Hail The Queen!

  20. DTME February 3, 2013

    It was good.
But Janet Miss Jackson if ya nasty still did the best Superbowl half time performance by a female.

    • truth(slayer of icki funky ass stans B****!!) February 3, 2013

      Agree but then Bey

    • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 3, 2013

I agree. Ms. Janet brought it. Just because the nippgate happened doesn’t mean it wasn’t fantastic.

      Beyonce did great though.

      • RoyalKev February 3, 2013

I might give Janet the edge actually, it’s still pretty close though! These 2 are definitely my personal favorites. Tbh, Madonna was too shabby either. I’d place her 3rd for the women.

      “definitive performer”?

      “Legend status”

I dont get it. What genre exactly? He doesn’t know anything outside of pop and r&b, so how can she be the “defintive” performer exactly!!!

  26. lola February 3, 2013

Queen Bey straight killed that s***. LIVE VOICE AND ALL! Loved how she got her fans to sing along during moments of the songs. B**** worked the damn stage like the pro she is and looked damn good! Wow, what a beautiful, s***, risqué outfit, and amazingly toned legs. Her skin was flawless and so was her voice. I loved how she got Kelly and Michelle on there during the Destiny’s Child segment. They looked great as well, especially Kelly. Queen Bey is in a league of her own and is the BEST PERFORMER OF OUR GENERATION! LOL at this site crashing when Bey post came up!

    • JER February 3, 2013

Please rewatch “Halo” and tell me she sang everything live. #youtried

      • lola February 3, 2013

Oh shut the hell up! What is with the f****** hate? We all know she can sing and she was singing LIVE to all of her songs.

  27. You Wanna Bey Me February 3, 2013

Hands down THEE best half time stage EVER!!!!!

  28. JER February 3, 2013

The performance was just OK. I was embarrassed for her getting caught half lip synching “Halo” at the end. It was an awkward performance from her starting with “Love on Top” which nobody really knew and basically dancing the entire time with little singing. And why she brought out Kelly’s man arms and Michelle to perform for 2 seconds then kick them off the stage I’ll never know. Having Kelly and Michelle be the backup dancers for her during “Single Ladies” was cringing to watch. And Michelle was stiff and awkward as hell.

The whole performance was exactly as I called it, a lot of dancing and very little singing. WHY she lipped the “End of Time” verse and the beginning of “Halo” I really don’t know. It was pitiful TBH. To see her badly lip her own songs and then act live she was the second coming of Jesus was too much. The whole performance could have been better if she actually SANG. Instead, she did what she does best: flail weave and pop c****** whole lipping verses and then squawking live ad libs to make up for it. It was a mess honestly the more I think about it.

To anyone who thinks that was hott, please seat yourself in every seat of that darkened stadium

She even tried to be Rihanna with Baby boy, b**** you’re not from the islands. And let’s not even talk about those FAT THUNDER THIGHS, there is no photoshop to hide those cellulite filled Thunder thighs.

This was a mess, boring, predictable and GHETTO just like I knew it would. Plus no new material just I thought, the DJs must have given her the real tea from that radio test.

    • JER February 3, 2013

Has nothing to do with anything. It wasn’t Rihanna up on stage lip syncing half her songs

      • lola February 3, 2013

Stop being such a p****! Rihanna SOUNDS F****** AWFUL LIVE EVERY F****** TIME! B**** cannot sing or dance! Why the f*** do you think that you have some nerve bashing Beyonce when Rihanna is ONE OF THE WORST SINGERS AND DANCERS OF ALL TIME?!

    • BeyFRAUD Armstrong (Beyonce’s Weave) February 3, 2013

My fav has a catalogue of hits, so yes, she would bring the party to the SB.

    • NΛVI February 3, 2013

yes she would, she have the hits like madonna and creative and innovative people on her team to bring the stage to life!

      • HIVE February 4, 2013

        yeah right!!!!
she has never had 1 performance or concert
        that has been trending WW

        Beyonce has had:
        Single Ladies video
        AMA’s 2009
        Glastonbury
        Billboard Awards
        MTV awards 2011
        and Now Superbowl
        trending WW

Rihanna may have the hits but she is still boring as all hell!!! she has good songs and an okay face other than that there is nothing… she’s all surface

your fave could and would never… Superbowl or anyone doesn’t even see Rihanna only the Navy

    • Gemma February 3, 2013

No. She couldn’t maybe staging and gimmicks though,

  54. Shaquinisha-rose February 3, 2013

I enjoyed it profusely…BUT I have to be honest, some parts were rather boring.

  55. aynon February 3, 2013

the Navy just need to go to sleep, they just got slayed and they know you know who you are…

    • NΛVI February 3, 2013

why do we need to go sleep..you guys act as tho the navy is trolling this post..look closely lady gaga fans are doing the most dragging but yall so pressed over rihanna, you can’t see past the b*******.

  56. NΛVI February 3, 2013

KInda disappointed..when i look back Madonna’s stage set it was more elaborate…beyonce’s own look so basic in comparison…but her performance was good and i liked the destiny’s child reunion.

  57. Diamond Princess February 3, 2013

THAT was a major FAIL and ya’ll know it! Like seriously What the F%#! was that?!! It was NOTHING special!! She’s done all of that s*** before, so what was so spectacular about it? This is why I CAN’T with you FOOLS!! Beyonce could literally s*** on stage and ya’ll would think it was AMAZING!! All of those pics and videos she posted, hyping this s*** up, only led to a major disappointment! Madonna IMO did better last year and was far more original than this B****, and she’s like what 70? lol! Bey should really go crawl under a rock because if that was all she had to offer and she’s been preparing for this for months then idk what to say….. It’s time to hang the golden wigs up and go play with her kid.

    • lola February 3, 2013

How the hell did Madonna do better when she lip-synced 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus, her old ass could barely move.

  58. Music Soul Harmony February 3, 2013

F****** amazing. I don’t have to say *waits for haters* now cuz I know there’s nothing to hate on! Lol.

Beyonce she did well she was doing her thing on stage I just think that MJ had the best one of ALL TIME THO. But beyonce is not far behind.. I would not mind seeing Ciara next tho but that’s a BIG “IF” she might just flop again

  60. SlayDeleAdkins February 3, 2013

SHE ALREADY SLAYED ME WITH THOSE TWO FACES FULL OF LIGHTS!!

  66. Chrissy February 3, 2013

Im sorry don’t attack me for being delusional because I AM NOT a Beyoncé stan but she was better than Madonna in my opinion to all those people posting her video the only thing better about Madonnas was her staging.

    • NΛVI February 3, 2013

yeah that’s what saying to madonna staging was epic but beyonce performance was better..i really wish she had a better staging the people on her lack creativity.

  67. An0thrDream February 3, 2013

    Queen Bey! She killed it!

MAJOR props! That choreo and energy! INSANE

  68. HLOVE February 3, 2013

And is it me or Kelly nearly still the spotlight B..

      How???

  69. chrisbrown followme@Royalkings101 February 3, 2013

  70. DC fan February 3, 2013

To tell the truth , my favorite moment was Destiny’s Child doing single ladies.. Always wanted to see tham do that song and they killed it , jut wanted them to do the whole thing.. Bee is my chick but it was nothing new but single ladies.. The show was just ok but didn’t top the other ones like I was thanking she was going to do.. But that’s just me.

P.S Kelly Rowland is getting real thick looks really good..

  71. Sheila February 3, 2013

It was OK, her performance was predictable, c****** poppin, booty droppin, Michael, Janet, Prince, then maybe Beyonce. the vocals were off,was wayyyyyyy, over hyped, nothing special, it was like going to a Beyonce show, nothing spectacular. A** and C******!!!, but the worshippers will bow down and act as if the second coming has ocurrred.

  72. Kandi kuntz February 3, 2013

That performance wasn’t up to par for a queen tbh, I’m extremely underwhelmed.

  73. BEYSUS B**** February 3, 2013

  74. dom February 3, 2013

See this is what annoys me. MJ can come out and do the super bowl while lip syncing, doing the same dance routine and everyone is foaming at the mouth but somehow Beyonces performance is lackluster??

    • CBE February 3, 2013

shut up b****, dont dare compare Michael to Beyonce…

Beyonce is in a league of her own and not even Janet or Madonna can do or have done what she does! She’s just too talented. It’s very sad that people enjoy puppet and untalented singers such as Katy and Rihanna, but bash Beyonce to the fullest. C****** popping? Um, wtf does Rihanna do? Rihanna is a nasty, w**** who is with her abuser and smokes blunts all day. THERE IS NOTHING CLASSY OR RESPECTABLE ABOUT HER, yet, you retarded bicthes want to act like she’s so great, but bash QUEEN BEY! I was hoping and expecting something out of this world because after all the videos & photos she posted of her rehearsing…..she made it seem like it was going to be this big deal and I’m sad to say FOR ME it wasn’t.

Michelle you lost your voice during independent women

    • Girl007Bond February 4, 2013

      Kelly looked better then Beyonce

  80. S****** Blonde February 3, 2013

Mediocre, half time show, enough with the jungle dance and the two other singers jumping out of the floor …f****** hilarious…………..I was expecting something new, something out of this world but this is LIVE at Ravel, why she didn’t take this opportunity to make something EPIC and ICONIC, words that are constantly abused by her fan base, i know it was hard to top Madonna’s performance but girl you’re a beast on stage, you could do better, use that on your favor, no matter what people say or if she top Madonna’s views, this was a big disappointed for me, i think we need Gaga to bring something epic to the halftime show cuz i don’t think in anyone else, still it was a good performance but it was all the same. Madonna and Prince, MJ and Janet Jackson remains the best halftime of the superbowl.

    • JUELZ February 3, 2013

      Exactly @S****** Blonde.

Everybody who knows/has seen/has heard/or follows Beyonce’ knows that she is very talented but, tonight, she disappointed me HIGHLY.

I thought she would do something that the majority would not expect.

Well, that is why I am primarily a Classic Rock and Soul fan. The Rolling Stones, The Who, Prince etc… TOWER MILES above her, and as much as I detest the majority of Pop music (especially that of today’s) – I can gladly admit to both Madonna’s and M.J’s mastery of perofrmance and imagery. Even Janet’s….

      It was VERY predictable unfortunately…

      • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 3, 2013

Are you a fan of Bjork? David Bowie? The Smashing Pumpkins? The White Stripes? Queen? Sade?

Enlighten me! Oh and I agree.

      • S****** Blonde February 3, 2013

        @JUELZ
        Good taste in music.

      • JUELZ February 3, 2013

        @M.C/S****** Blonde…

I absolutely ADORE all of the names you mentioned, however, I must admit, I don’t follow Bjork as much.

I’m more a Classic Rock/Soul fan circa. 1965-1979 – I, personally, think those were the best times of Rock and Soul music, in terms of artistry, imagination, lyricism and depth juxtaposed alongside TRUE talent and RAW but REAL performance skills.

Rock: Janis Joplin, The Beatles, Cream, The Great Yardbirds, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, The S** Pistols, Clash, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, The Who, The Rolling Stones, U.2, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Fleetwod MAC, AC/DC are my prime favourites etc… I’M A TRUE ROCK JUNKIE.

Soul: Sly & the family Stone, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, Donny Hathaway, W.A.R, Funkadelic etc… are my prime favourites.

I also have a soft-spot for Whitney, Celine, Patti, Aretha, Diana & Mariah carey and big ‘vocal’ divas though. 🙂

        And yourselves?

      • S****** Blonde February 3, 2013

        @JUELZ
I’m in love with you, i’m a rocker, i love all those people you mentioned, what about Joy Division, i love them.

      • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 3, 2013

A lot of the names you mentioned here are awesome. I don’t think of myself as a “Rock” junkie or any junkie for a certain genre because I dabble in a lot of these genres but my fave has to be R&B/Soul meshed together…since I follow most artists from that genre. I’m a big fan of Stevie Wonder, Prince, Aretha, Patti, Selena Quintanilla , Sheyrl Crow, Shania twain, Aerosmith, Queen, Bjork, David Bowie, Michael, Mariah+Celine+Whitney, Alanis Morissette, Amy Winehouse, Fiona Apple, Miguel, and too many more that I cannot finish naming 😆

You have to listen to more of Bjork’s discography I suggest Homogeic (a must!!) then move on to Biophilia, Post, Debut, Voltaic, etc

      • JUELZ February 3, 2013

        “Joy Division”?

        HELL YES.

As much I’m more of a Hard-Rock/Blues-Rock/Heavy-Metal/Psychadelic-Rock — Folk-Rock/Country-Rock/Southern-Rock/Rhythm & Blues based fan (with other Rock genres) I do love some Punk-Rock at times!!!

        🙂

      • S****** Blonde February 3, 2013

        @ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ
Bjork is the best thing from Iceland alongside Sigur Ros and i love Selena Quintanilla, plays: Ya No.

      • ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 3, 2013

Yes, everyone is talking about the Madonna show now…..even the Inauguration lipping-gate got more coverage. I think the biggest problem was the hyping, not from Beyonce but her fans and then it feel too short. Maybe by tomorrow the interest would’ve peaked?

  81. HOWYOULIKEIT February 3, 2013

Sasha Fierce was brought back to life. Tore the stage apart.

I not saying this just because I luv Beyonce but SHE IS A MUTHAF*CKIN BEAST! She SLAYED! Especially during SL! This woman is one of The Greats! This just made me so dang hyped for new material! She is Ready! The woman showed out! It have been a long long time, probably decades since someone put on a show like this one n The Superbowl! And she delivered some new routines, where it wouldn’t look old. And lmao when Kelly and Michelle left, KING B started dancing harder. She was like ” u b****** gots to go, y’all are holding me bac”. KING B is heading for that Legendary Era! CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS NEW ERA! AND LMAO THEY SAY KING B KNOCK THE LIGHTS OUT LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BEYONCE IS THAT B****!!!!!!!!!!!!! #2013…….THE YEAR OF BEYONCE

  85. wrinkle flop ora, February 3, 2013

BEYONCE IS OVER, all this talk of wig snatching and carrer ending only applies to Beyonce herself. That was wack. Her worst ever perfromane and the WORST PERFORMANCE I HAVE SEEN AT A BIG EVENT.

Madonna is 53 but she killes these young b******, she must be sitting laughing. What was that? She was not even singing , just chanting and speaking in Jamaican accent. All I saw was an old fat botoxed NFL player, with blonde wig dressed like slutty drag queen booty poopin. Where was the creative jaw dropping stage set? Where was the amazing dancing? All I saw was bunch girls and fat man in blonde wig poppin there ass. What were the songs? None of these are even iconic. From Madonna to that?

    All that hype for what?

Rih is so ready for the superbowl. Her body of music is more commercial. Some of the songs she sang, I have never even heard. White America did not like, you could sense in the crowd, and the commercials were wack this year, cos advertisers know it only beyonce perfoming.

I called it. Just like i said rita whora will flop. Beyonce DID NOT DO HER NEW SONGS. SHE IS OVER. Where was the pepsi commercial with the new song? I see more CBS tv shows commercials, than actual products.

Very hyped up, very poor. She is done!

  86. Gemma February 3, 2013

I don’t get some people. You claim you don’t like Beyoncé and aint got time for her yet you following all her performances clocking something ‘different’. If this is enough for her fans, then so be it, I thought she was brilliant and I don’t even follow her like that!

Beyonce is a great performer did good but I was expecting something more it seemed like I was at her concert and it was a usually Tuesday night nothing different than Monday.

They are saying that even madonna entrance shitted on beyonce whole set. No one will remember beyonce one next year. It is all about Madonna.

But, I think it is time for Britney, Spice girls, Rih, Gaga and emimem to headline.

Great perfomance, strong performance and she worked that stage!!!

    MADONNA HALFTIME PERFORMANCE>>>> BEYONCES

    • Anne February 3, 2013

Yeah right! I’m a fan of both but Bey has Madonna beat on vocals and choregraphy. What else is there? Sure Madonna has a lot of hits but she had to leave out my favs due to the time limits so it’s really not even close IMO. Bey gave the best superbowl halftime show thus far.

      • wrinkle flop ora, February 3, 2013

No she did not have better dance moves than madonna. Also, Madonna put on iconic regal show.. Beyonce was typical black woman screaming and booty popping. All black women do that.

Ew. Beyonce came over here looking 45 singing some 98935854834894 year old songs and it was just atrocious.

Her fake Jamaican accent made me wanna kill myself.

Her rehashed choreography disappointing most of her fans.

When she brought out destinies child Kelly out shined her and looked the best and Michelle looked 60. They were a mess with their mics turned down low lmfao.

That was truly just average and to everyone asking if “anybody’s faves” could do better. I’m sure Rihanna could give this performance minus the unnecessary dance breaks with stale old moves. At least Bey tried…

    • JUELZ February 3, 2013

  107. ƸӜƷ MC ƸӜƷ February 3, 2013

Beyonce, watch out or you’ll repeat ‘4’ all over again. You had the biggest stage of the year with millions of people watching and you performed Single Ladies and CIL when you could’ve used it to your advantage and done something you haven’t exhausted to death. Where is your new single?

Anyways, it was a great performance (we’ve already seen it though) but its still a great performance. She looked beautiful though.

On a lighter note, I loved how Michelle took her time to walk off the stage. #DIVA

    • SHA February 3, 2013

I wish Matthew was managing her he would of made sure there was a new single performed at the Superbowl and with the announcer letting them know it released to iTunes that moment ensuring her a top ten position and then a media blitz with a performance at the Grammys and Brit award as well as television performances to get her 6th number one single #BRINGBACKMATTHEW!!!!!!!

    From a REAL critic!

A chorus of schoolchildren, an Academy Award winner, the longest national anthem in Super Bowl history and a chippy first half threatened to upstage Beyonce before she made her long-awaited halftime performance in New Orleans.

    Is that all?

Beyonce reclaimed the throne with a magnetic halftime medley that was impossible not to love. It was a show your entire Super Bowl party could enjoy.

For the pop fans, a catalog of her greatest hits that included Crazy In Love, Halo and Single Ladies. For lovers of showmanship, there were 20-yard facial silhouette outlines, video doubles, light shows and 72,000 fans putting rings on it. For those who enjoy the female form, a s***, one-piece leather dress with a middle opening that stretched down to the belly button and left little to the imagination.

The biggest compliment you can give? She was even more dominating at the Superdome than the Baltimore Ravens were in the first half.

The only problem was an issue of Beyonce’s own creation. The absurd controversy surrounding her inauguration lip syncing performance turned Beyonce defensive and compelled her to sing live at halftime. (At least for most of it. The cameras were conspicuously zoomed out on tongue-twisting sequences.)

There’s a reason artists lip sync when they’re strutting around stage and gyrating with dozens of dancers. You can’t sing when you’re out of breath. Pavarotti didn’t run wind sprints before performing Rigoletto.

Other foibles: A bland setlist (no “Countdown”) and the Destiny’s Child reunion for which one was clamoring. That wasn’t enough to sink the set. It was at least the best Super Bowl halftime since Prince and perhaps the best since Aerosmith and Britney Spears in 2001.

Twitter agrees. Beyonce was a hit on social media. A contingent still says Madonna was better, but let’s not forget she brought out a gaggle of forgettable guests including LMFAO and MIA.

But on the whole, it was a show that made the Madonna and The Who performances seem like relics of a past time. It all made me very thirsty for some sort of carbonated cola beverage. I just couldn’t figure out which one.

  159. RIHANNA IS AN UNTALENTED S*** AND A W**** WHO PRACTICES SUCKING D*** MORE THAN SINGING! R****!!!! February 3, 2013

    From a REAL critic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great, but so predictable! Madonna kicked her ass.

  161. Jeremih February 3, 2013

Ok, the show as a whole was amazing, when you think of the millions of people watching that, are large percentage probably don’t watch Beyonces performances religiously like the stans and even the naysayers on these blogs to know it was quite samey samey which is why Im reading positivity overall. My only criticism is she should’ve pulled out all the stops to do something NOBODY HAS SEEN BEFORE/SOMETHING REALLY INNOVATIVE that will stay in peoples MINDS not just tweaking the odd dance routine Beyoncé! I was expecting so much more but I have to bear in mind, people hold these popstars on such a high pedastool sometimes at the time if its not up to par, they get criticised heavily! Even the legends have faced that. Having said that, it was still in my top 5 and I stand by word that she is the best allround performer for this generation of kids. And as for people criticising her on lip syncing why? Just why? Stop trying it they all do it.

PURE TALENT! She kept it real and didnt try too hard or over do it. She just made her mark being BEYONCE not trying to prove a point, i like that.Only homage to the group that started her career not this catalogue of ‘hot for the moment but now pretty irrelevant’ guests like some badly lip-syncing pensioner did. It would’ve been tactical to do a new single but I really think Beyoncé just wanted to pay homage to the past 16 years of her career which I really respect.

    From a REAL critic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whether you want to admit it or not, she killed it. Could you just lighten up for a minute?? She did great. Moves, singing, stage was on point! Also can anyone give me any sources where her or her team confirmed she would be performing her new single on the Super Bowl? I never heard her say that. Sure it was a rumor. The Super Bowl is meant for artists to perform medlies anyway. She will probably perform the new single on the Grammys like someone said. And how are people that hate her pressed for a new song from her???? Crazy mofo’s.

so she lipped and its very easy to tell, she probably thought no one would notice.. (we are not as dumb as her gullible stans).

Beyonce’s Electrifying Super Bowl Halftime Performance

It was so electrifying that the lights went out after the halftime show.

There were hair flips of the dizzying variety and booty shaking and a whole lot of wind action. But beyond all the effects, the complicated dance moves and the pyrotechnics, Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime act was a first-rate lesson on a how a top-notch star should deliver a performance.

Beyonce was introduced by a fan countdown, a kaleidoscopic imagery of Beyonce fans, fireworks and Pepsi product placements. The singer started her performance with the strumming of her song Baby It’s You. This was immediately followed by her hit songs Crazy In Love and Baby Boy. The singer’s image was projected either in intertwined patterns or in multiples as she sang and danced through these numbers.

Beyonce strutted her vocal and dancing prowess in a leather bodysuit that was equal parts super hero and burlesque by New York-based designer Rubin Singer. Singer also made the costumes for all the backup dancers, 120 in all, and the outfits of Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Beyonce, Rowland and Williams paired their Singer leather outfits with Proenza Schouler booties and black tights.

The reunion of Destiny’s Child added dimension to the performance. The trio sang Independent Women, the battle hymn of girl power. Then Beyonce asked Rowland and Michelle to join her in the singing of Single Ladies. However, it was difficult to hear the vocals of Rowland and Williams, either because of the microphone volumes or the background music. Nonetheless, it was great seeing them all on stage. They were joined by a battalion of women singing the now familiar Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh lyrics while doing the matching hand flips and foot marching from the Single Ladies music video.

Beyonce ended her halftime performance with her song Halo, which she belted as if she were singing for her life. Perhaps her way of redeeming herself after all that inauguration-lip-synching hullabaloo.”

Beyonce: Super Bowl 2013 Halftime Show – Watch Now!

Beyonce is absolutely fabulous during the 2013 Super Bowl half time show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday (February 3) in New Orleans, La.

The 31-year-old rocked the house as the headlining act for the highly anticipated performance!

Bey hit the stage and sang some of her greatest hits including “Love on Top,” “Crazy in Love,” “End of Time,” and “Baby Boy” before her Destiny’s Child band mates joined her on stage!!! It was rumored that Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland would be joining Beyonce on stage.

Later, Kelly and Michelle left the stage, where Bey belted out “Halo.”

During her set, Beyonce danced her heart out, all while telling the audience to keep clapping their hands.

  206. Hilly February 3, 2013

She was Fire!!! The voice, the dance moves, the energy! Kelly was gorgeous!!! I loved it, it was way better than Madonna, just because she’s more talented as an artist!

But the real question is: Where the hell is the single?

    • Mad-On-Her February 4, 2013

Better artist? Madonna has co-written and co-produced more hits than Beyonce could ever dream of. And she actually has a hand in them, unlike Beyonce who just puts her name to it. People can say Bey is a better singer all day, but you can’t call her a better artist. Even Beyonce herself has spoken of her admiration for Madonna. Please..

  207. mc the place to be! February 3, 2013

That exposure and no new single this was nothing but the billboard performance but extended I’m sorry but this could’ve been way better still think madonna slayed her set and entrance was everything and she only had a few days to practice!pepsi pays you 50 million dollars and you come up with that cheap set?

  208. Hey You There February 3, 2013

OKAY IM GONNA BE HONEST, IM NOT HATING JUST FOR THE SAKE OF IT …BUT THIS WAS AVERAGE, SHE SOUNDS HORRIBLE LIVE, HER VOICE IS ROUGH, SHE NEVER SINGS THE CHORUS, SHE HAS BEEN DOING THOSE DANCE MOVES FOR CENTURIES……WHAT A DUSTY PERFORMANCE.

    • YouFail February 4, 2013

A Rihanna fan having the gall to say that another singer sounds horrible live is just too ironic for this early in the morning, considering how the one you’re in here stanning for sounds like a barn yard animal being branded. Equally ironic is your remarking on the moves and performance, since the non-singing tramp you follow could be upstaged by dancing puppets on Sesame Street.

Idiots on the Internet say the darnedest things.

  226. xxx February 4, 2013

to be honest…rihanna has more hits worth of performing

of course beyonce is an outstanding performer, everyone knows that…and she did just that – perform.

main problem is, she does the same thing every goddamn time! she just takes no risks. whether song nor performance wise…

    • Gigi Young February 4, 2013

Yeah…that’s how I feel. If Beyonce had Rihanna’s catalog–or even Christina Aguilera or Usher’s–the halftime show would have been so dope. Listening to this melody of songs made me realize that though I Looooved Baby Boy, Independent Women, et al…the love and freshness was back when they were new songs. They just sound a bit…limp? slightly dated? I don’t know, but all of the songs together just weren’t very energizing. Bey’s performance was on point, but the catalog and lack of theme made this a bit meh.

  227. Fashionphotographer121 February 4, 2013

No gimmicks, no distractions. Just her and her incredible talent. Beyonce is a legend that will FOREVER be one of the greatest artists this world has ever seen. Thank you for giving us all inspiration to be the best we can be.

  228. You Wanna Bey Me February 4, 2013

    ………on to the grammys 🙂

  229. steph February 4, 2013

I loved the stamina, the energy and the stage presence.
On the other side, I was expecting more creativity from that Super Bowl performance.
Performing is one thing (which she did greatly). Now having a theme and developing it through costumes, scene, musical arrangements, even choreography to create an atmosphere and take people on an ‘imagination journey” is an other.
In that regard, it started great with the speech, the two faces. But afterwards, what was the theme to link everything. If it was Beyoncé herself, great! However choosing a theme that is not you, allow for something more universal to emerge, something that the wide audience of the SP can put their imagination on and dream. (e.g. Michael Jackson and Heal the World)

I like some stamina, I also love to be taken into a “fantasy”!! Hoping she brings that to her next tour.

  230. MUSICHEAD February 4, 2013

Beyonce did a nice job. Unfortunately, she was not able to really deliver vocally because she was so compelled to sing live that she didn’t use her traditional pre-recorded vocals to add power to her voice. So while she’s not the most talented vocalist, she did a nice job in that area.

The show overall was very well executed from the stage design to the transitions from song to song. I thought she and the stage directors and designers did a flawless job with that. You couldn’t take your eyes off the screen.

The highlight for me: MISS KELLY ROWLAND! When Kelly popped up on that stage, she said it without saying: “I’m a bad b****!” I’m sorry but side by side Kelly overshadowed Beyonce (and Michelle of course) with her s** appeal and stronger vocal ability. If only Kelly had this same confidence while in the group she would have gone so much further sooner.

I was very disappointed in how the show ended. It was very anticlimactic. Instead of closing with a show stopping performance of Single Ladies she kept it low key and somewhat boring and then closed with an underwhelming performance of Halo.

While Beyonce was hot in her own right (that lace was very s***) her overall performance was lacking the usual energy we would expect from her. While this won’t be remembered as one of the greatest superbowl performances, it should be remembered as one of the best executed and designed.

If I had to give her a grade I would give her a B+.

Oh lord, I felt so bad for Kelly and Michelle having to act as Beyonce’s back up dancers. What a rude selfish b****. Also what was up with Bey only singing 25-30% of the actual song and just dancing the rest of the time? Overall the performance lacked energy and creativity.

    • TAYLOR SWIFTS NUMBER 1 FAN!!! February 4, 2013

Beyoncé’s halftime show, which occurred in the 8 – 8:30 PM ET time slot, scored a 48.2/71. That’s down from the 48.1/72 of Madonna’s 2012 halftime performance. Madonna had 114 million viewers, more than the actual game and Beyoncé had her ratings go from 100 Millon to 95 Millon during her halftime performance.

“Everybody, I want to feel your energy,”

those POOR souls in that audience. I bet they left the Super Bowl completely DRAINED of their energy after that Top Level WITCH put on that Strip Show she gave.

It was very 1,2,3 Calculated & over rehearsed

I was BORED until DC3 came out but wasnt that surprised cause MICHELLE big Mouth told Rocsi she was excited to be performing at the SB but later changed the story & Bey didnt Deny rumors either.

    And KELLY!

She totally took my eyes OFF Beyawnce until Bey kicked her off the stage. She narrated her performance & posed too much as usual. Anyway it was BORING until DC3 came out.

I give it 4/5 at best which is mediocre for someone who claimed she did MONTHS of planning.

And the funny thing is, the celebrities are mostly the ones around other artists and they see more than us. So they opinion matter more. Kobe Bryant siad she was the best female entertainer of all time! The Gawker just said KING B has taken MJ’S Heir over Usher, Neyo and Chris Brown. Diddy said she’s his Muthafu*kin Hero! Steve Harvey is from the old school and he don’t like to many artists of this generation. Because they can’t compare to legends of the 90s, 80s, 70s and 60s but he said KING B is simply the best rite now! And The New Yorker said she’s The Alpha Omega of Female Pop Stars! #2013……..THE YEAR OF BEYONCE

Sorry Beyonce on the failed Superbowl ratings it went from 114 million from the start of the game to a 100 million and dropped to 90 during your halftime. That sucks ass but Madonna reigns supreme when you bring In more viewers than the actual game did you are the queen!

    • Umm February 4, 2013

madonna performance was trashed all up and down this blog and many others. Mariah ain’t getting a SB show so MC fans pressed. If I recall Mariah and Madonna still don’t like each other so…

      • zania February 4, 2013

But on all the mainsteam blog, they are ripping Beyonce apart for sexual show she put on and football is for the Family. But I guess none of the blogs will report the complaints because Beyonce Camp pays them off to report positive reports about her. If that was another artist they would’ve posted all the upsetting comments on all the blogs about her sexual performance. They are calling her performance a strip show and the majority said Madonna was better, she was more creative.

      • Umm February 4, 2013

Beyonce has worn a leotard since 09 but now it’s a problem?? The superbowl is not for families it’s for men (notice all the sexual ads) most ppl who say that will also be the people questioning her ability to sing. I respect if you liked Madonnna’s better but when her performance was fresh nobody was impressed.

      • zania February 5, 2013

iF Football is for men only than wall poor Janet JACKSON get black ball after her malfunction during the superbowl, because of the outroar, saying that young kids were watching the show and it was a family show. All ages watch football not just grown men.

  243. Umm February 4, 2013

I like Madonna’s performance last year but overall beyonce was just a lil better. Madonna had theatrics galore for her’s, and it was a mess on first viewing. Y’all for got how she almost fell on stage. Bey was nothing surprising but it was great performing something the SB half time shows have been lacking for a number of years after janet’s nip slip.

    • Common Sense February 4, 2013

Super Bowl 2013 IS THIRD MOST-WATCHED PROGRAM IN TELEVISION HISTORY. Nielsen estimated average of 108.41 million viewers (Super Bowl 2012 – 111.3 million; Super Bowl 2011 – 111.0 million). Beyoncé’s halftime show was watched by 100.27 million viewers.
Super Bowl 2013 could’ve been the most sucessful if it wasn’t for the 30-minute blackout.

    • zania February 4, 2013

Beyonce half time show was lower than Madonna,so even though the overall game was higher, most people who were watching turned the channel because of her sexual performance. They are calling her performance the worst in history. But of course the blogs will ignore all the complaints on every mainstream blog.

      • Gilberto February 4, 2013

B****, stop lying. LOL. CNN, New York Post, New York Times, Rolling Stones, Forbes, B** are saying that Beyoncé had one of the best Halftime of all time. Of all time. Critics LOVED Beyoncé’s performance. I have yet to see any bad review of her performance. You can keep with your delusion, because everybody else is saying that she smashed. 🙂
Beyoncé just had the 3rd biggest night of USA television history. She made history. AGAIN.

I said the public, not the blogs and people Beyonce PR bought.
There are more negative comments than positive.

many negative complaints from the public about her performance but yet the blogs, the people in power she pay off ignore it, but yet Janet Jackson malfunction is was a uproar. Its amazing when you are friends with the President, what you can get away with. There were more negative comments than positive ones, here are some of the thousand that is on all the blogs, Yahoo, Perez, Just Jared, New york post.

THE WORST SUPER BOWL HALF TIME EVER….her whole performance was disgusting – from the c****** flashing to the licking of her finger – did someone forget to tell this jacka$$ that its a family show?

THE WORST SUPER BOWL HALF TIME EVER….her whole performance was disgusting – from the c****** flashing to the licking of her finger – did someone forget to tell this jacka$$ that its a family show?

The most pathetic Super Bowl half time show of all time. What were the Super Bowl organizers thinking? That music is music to bore you to death with.

        R I P 🙂
        Beyonce is so played out.

        No new material.

        No new dance moves.

All she did was predictably get out there and shake her wide b***.

Note to NFL. Next year put some real talent out there at halftime. The Eagles. The Zac Brown Band. Willie Nelson.

How about bringing One Direction out there ???

xpensive strip show. Glad my kids are over 21! This is supposed to be a family sports event! Put some clothes in & stop humping, Bey !!!!

We had Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction. Now we have Beyonce’s entire performance malfunction.

I wonder if lace, lingerie and stripper pole will increase in sales ? (wink

Beyonce was just terrible, one of the worst halftime shows ever. Just yelling and screaming while giving a lap dance to kids. And you ask what is wrong with our social values. Who approved this bump and grind show for kids to watch? I’ve had enough Beyonce and that cultural trash….

Now that was funny, they are calling her a strip dancer.

      • Umm February 4, 2013

hope you know blogs like these aren’t the public? These are haters seeking to make their opinions heard. Just think about you came her to make your opinion (the minority) heard because majority of ppl disagreed.

Keep pressed over Beyoncé’s iconic, critical and successfully claimed performance. One of the best of all time. That’s history in the making.

      • zania February 4, 2013

Only her delusional fans think that her performance was one of the best of all time, but not really because there were a whole lot of Beyhive on other blogs, stating that they didn’t like her performance because it was nothing new, that they haven’t seen. She really isn’t a good dancer she is a go go dancer. An excellent dancer of this time is Chris Brown, Usher, Ciara- now they are dancers. I miss CB, wish he would get back to music, because he is very creative with his performances and he is p*ssy popping, I want to see outstanding dance moves. I actually prefer watching Ciara because she can dance.

Pink, Shakira, and Gaga. The rest, no. ESPECIALLY not Xtina, Britney, or Rihanna.

One will holler everyone lives away. The other will stand around and await orders. The last one will be stoned.

I think Prince should be joined on stage by Bruce and David Bowie. My obsession with David Bowie has gone off the charts lately, but they’d make a fantastic. legendary trio.

OR Prince joined on stage by Stevie Wonder, they always make beautiful performances together.

      • Mad-On-Her February 4, 2013

Xtina and Britney might not be in a position to do it right now but they both have the potential to do it well. And in fact, despite the fact Xtina isn’t often seen as having the hugest catalogue of hits, I think when brought together she has a very potentially strong set. And that wasn’t even including two of her number ones.
Rihanna could do a good one as long as she included a lot of fireworks and distractions. It’s be weird if Jay Z joined her though I suppose if he didn’t even join his own wife.

  255. Exactly.. February 4, 2013

It’s interesting to me to see how some people assume all singers MUST drastically change their image every year to “evolve” and think Beyonce hasn’t evolved because she chooses to remain classy. I don’t stan for Beyonce first and foremost, but people who can actually sing (regardless of what the haters say), dance or have any ounce of talent, they don’t need to shave their heads every year for attention and to get people to talk. Grace Jones, Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston all had consistent images, why? Because they had talent and didn’t need all that bullish*t. But of course we have pop stars of today fooling the easily persuaded into thinking they’ve “evolved” with a new “haircut” every year… –__– People thing just because artists have a good team of people behind them choosing their look sthat they are re-inventing and creative and original. Like really Gtf

Sigh: People with sense should speak with sense!

Question: Would & did MJ make up a whole new routine of Thriller, Bad, Beat It etc.. for the superbowl ?
    Answer: NOOOOO

Question: Would & did Janet do a whole new routine for Rhythm Nation and All for you etc..
    Answer: NOOOO

Question why would Beyonce have to when she is not singing anything new to give a brand new routine to???
    Answers: Crickets aka Nothing

    She sung her hits
    Gave her all.
    Slayed with swag
    Worked the WHOLE stage.
    Was on point !

Bonus: Added s*** Kelly & sweet Michelle

    SIGNED SEALED & DELIVERED!!!

Facts are facts. People really didn’t care for the half time show because Beyawnce lost more than half the viewers. She was only trending on twitter. When ever there’s big news for Beyawnce it would trend in yahoo but guess what, most respective folks Hairr important things to do( work, school and life).

The only blogs that are holding on to a lifeline story this long are trannies, gays and overhyped b*tches.

  274. BITCHPLEASE February 5, 2013

BITCHPLEASE I KNOW SAMANTHA GONNA MILK THIS POST FOR YEARS TO COME JUST FOR STAN WARS RIGHT?? SMFH

  275. RAY February 5, 2013

I’m glad she was not ‘the performer of my generation’.
Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul and Michael Jackson are way better dancers. And at least they combined the dancing with singing.

All Beyonce does is scream some words now and again. Worst Super Bowl performance ever.

Please, let Diana Ross, Janet or Madonna return next time and give us something enjoyable to watch. Or let Beyonce SING next time. She’s got a great voice, she can actually sing, so please Beyonce let us hear your beautiful voice like you let us hear last week when you gave us that superb rendition of The Star Spangled Banner.

Why y’all mad that beysus delivered? Why? Y’all want to Rihanna’s krusty krab kootchie ATTEMPT to sing and dance? Gorwl, bye…..

  278. Touché February 5, 2013

Like I said before, it was just good. It wasn’t anything spectacular but there’s nothing wrong with that since it was just a performance of her previous hits. As long as she changes up and re-events her actual music then I see no problems.

  281. John February 6, 2013

Beyonce is the QUEEN and will always be!!! Enough said!! No need for debate, to go back and forth with the HATERS. She slays for life, end of discussion. Rihanna is where she is because of the Beyonce BLUEPRINT!! Beyonce is the most respected in the game by fans and her own legendary peers. If you HATERS can’t get that through your thick f****** skull, then something is truly wrong!!!
