‘Why don’t you..tell..me..where to land’.

Say hey to our friend Travis Garland, the breath of sonic fresh air gearing up to take the world of Pop by storm.

The former frontman of the Pharell backed ‘NLT’, the 23 year old singer/songwriter steps even further into the spotlight with the release of the ‘Fashionably Late Vol.II‘ EP, executive produced Usher contributors, the ‘Stereotypes‘.

With a voice the likes of JoJo, Ryan Seacrest, Ne-Yo and Ron Fair have all fallen in love, Travis is one act we here at TGJ have been excited about for while and hope you’ll understand why when you check out his material.

Seriously, this is one new act you do not want to miss out on.

You cant “Introduce” someone who was already introduced YEARS ago by Perez Hilton and even got him a performance on American Idol.. he was already “introduced” and the the biggest way possible ..

please black people support black artist i see it coming these white people are taking all our music our sound and enough it’s enough please

    • Coolsticks March 4, 2013

You sound like the biggest idiot. “Black people support black artists?” What kind of crap is that? If someone white said that would they be racist? Music is music and the last time I checked music doesn’t have a color. Wake up. I shouldn’t have to explain this to somebody in the year 2013. I guess you’re also saying that black people can’t be interested in any genre except R&B and Rap? You’re beyond ignorant.

    • diob March 4, 2013

Black people do not own the rights to R&B music. Music is universal and when ignorant people like your realize this the better of you will be.

    • spazattack March 4, 2013

Please have several seats. Better yet, take a nap. You’ll feel better in the morning.

    • Music Soul Harmony March 4, 2013

Black ppl started the genre of R&B. It was black dominated for a while but I think it’s fair to share beautiful music with other races. Not a big deal.

    • NΛVI March 4, 2013

you sound rather pathetic, are you forgetting a black man is the king of pop ..rihanna is a pop artist and one of the biggest this past decade who happen to be black, also janet jackson. i suggest you take couple seats.music has no barrier, skin color or race so i suggest you stop pigeon holing black artist just to do r&b and soul music.

Aw shut up if you’re talented you’re talented stop trying to pull the race card everyone deserves a chance in the music industry especially those who are driven no genre should be off limits to any race its 2013!

  11. whenindoubtthetruthwillout March 4, 2013

    I like it1

It has a similar vibe to Usher’s “Climax”.

  12. Drew March 4, 2013

I remember NLT. I liked their song “She Said, I Said” when they showed it in 2007 during a pre-RL on MTV’s TRL. I wonder what happened to NLT?

    • spazattack March 4, 2013

They came out with a few songs and then broke up. I don’t know what happened to the other two, but Travis is here making music and very much behind the scenes with other artist, and Kevin McHale went on be Artie in Glee.
