First Taylor Swift, then Ne-Yo, now ‘Love Him Like I Do’ divo Deitrick Haddon is readying a ‘R.E.D.’ album.  Our friends at DaGospelTruth report that Haddon’s new album, an acronym for ‘Restoring Everything Damaged’, is due in June while its first single may come as early as this month.

Here’s hoping Haddon’s return to charts will help offset rampant reports about his personal life – some fueled by comments made by the gospel singer himself.

Marvin Sapp Sounds Off On Controversy Over Gospel Song With ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Star Kandi Burruss

Marvin+Sapp+marvinsapp BIMnotype The Overflow (Gospel News Round Up): Mali Music, Tye Tribbett, Deitrick Haddon, & Marvin Sapp

As fans know, this month brought with it the debut of ‘Stay Prayed Up’ – the gospel single written/performed by ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ starlet Kandi Burruss and gospel crooner Marvin Sapp.

With that combination came much scrutiny about Burruss – whose other claim to fame is a line of adult/sex toys – releasing a gospel single and ‘sending conflicting messages’. While Burruss has weighed in on critics multiple times since the announcement of the song, her Stellar Award-winning co-star has not…until now.  Read below for this thoughts:

Ok, I have lost a lot of respect for both Deitrick and Marvin. Deitrick to me is getting exactly what he deserves for his arrogance and self glorifying behavior. He’s a bigger diva than Francine Ocean and that whole “cheating scandal” to me was an excuse for him to do what he’s probably been doing for years aka whoring around, and now got a 22 (yes 22) year old woman pregnant….I won’t be purchasing anything from his “ministry.”

Marvin is looking for his way into reality TV and doing that song with Kandi was his ticket in. Don’t try and act like you did that song for any other reasons, you looking for mainstream popularity and a check. Gospel is really becoming a f*ckin joke to me and I’m so over these artists and their fake sh*t. 2013 is bringing so many things to light in that industry. Clean em all out!

These Men are talented, but they have nothing on Gospel Recording Artist Tracy Randall. He’s not only a SINGER but a Grammy Nominated Song writer, Law Profess, Doctorates in Internal Business, CEO of his own LAVISH RECORDS and LAW FIRM. His first cd “Sinners Have Soul Too” sold over 270k copies INDEPENDENTLY and his sophomore album “Troubled Times” is on it’s way to being a classic Gospel artist…..
