While this is advice that is rarely given considering the star’s light and bright personality, one Swedish music lover has found themselves on the wrong side of the 17 time Grammy winner, over an incident that occurred in 2011.

After reportedly leaking the stars #1 album ’4′ weeks before its June 24th release date, the Swede has now come under fire from her label, SONY Music, who are suing him for £154,000 ( 233,000 dollars) for the shady act.
According to a submission filed by the company to the Gothenburg District Court, the music group- which also houses ’21′ singer Adele and ‘Overdose’ belle Ciara- have claimed that the album’s leaking damaged its marketing strategy for the LP and more seriously, their long running friendship with the singer.
Of course, while the album has gone on to sell over 2 million units worldwide, the handling of the project has come under intense criticism for some members of Carter’s fan base, who questioned its promotional strategy and singles choices.
However, in what sheds a much needed light on what was once an unclear situation, their decision to sue the ‘leaker’ stands as a reminder as to how damaging the illegal music trade can be to campaigns spawned by even the strongest of artists.
